I wanted Marshall for us. Darnold seems to favor DJ over Robbie,so I have him in also(DJ) I don't see us covering all 3 of them plus Caff,we're gonna have to get to Darnold and that's not easy. IDK, this just looks like another mauling coming for us

Right... the money is an issue.  Can't trade them if the actual takes away cap space.    Idk about Brooks either,  how that would effect the cap.

To me... Sanders, Dillard and Ertz would be the easiest to unload without causing cap issues.

He is due to get paid after next year... I absolutely think there are GMs that look at him like some of our fans do... and overrate him.  That's the type of move we need to make for sure.

Gainwell looks good IMO. He booted Scott before they year started/ maybe he is booting Sanders too,but I would llike to get a basher back to compliment either of them. Right... but now you give him away... they lost on this issue as far as getting " value "   now it's time to cut the losses.  A 7th round pick in 2023 and recouping the cap space is good.   The value would be Dillard and Sanders as far as getting decent return as far as picks.

To me, I like Gainwell better than Sanders.  Not really close.  Sanders to me is a good runner,but doesn't offer anything else. Which isn't good as far as situational football.  Gainwell has been playing key downs.  For that to happen since game 1, that speaks volumes to me.

I read something like Howard was in really good shape. So can't understand what he's doing on the PS??? Anyone have thoughts on that?

I've played every player I've had in every league vs the Eagles so far,including Pollard.  Will probably sit Anderson this week though.

Wasn't there an issue with the Eagles not running the ball.... wonder if the starting OTs not being in the game has an impact on that?

Lane is no Ziggy Anzah, but he's still pretty good.

Might be old news but saw a report that Lane is in rehab for addiction to pain killers.

If true i have mixed feelings because having had 2 knee replacement surgeries in the last 10 months i can see how it could easily happen.

Probably because you are mostly concerned with this week and this season. Hard for the offense as a whole to get much consistency if we can’t block. So I’m with you there. Need to give a fair shot to judge everybody. But on the other hand….kind of been nice to move guys around to see what they can actually handle. Pryor they thought of as the Swiss Army knife. Turned out he really couldn’t play any position very well. We figured that out and moved on. Perfect. This is that season to sort some things out. So let’s give people a shot at least. We are learning some things about some younger players that could be a part of the longer term future.

I was big on DJ Moore for us in that draft. He’s fast and shifty. Robbie Anderson was my burner free agent option I liked. McCaffrey I was big on also even though some were very against him. He’s been having some durability issues lately so we’ll see long run. He went too early in the draft for us to consider anyway. I thought the Giants should have taken Darnold. Instead they took Barkley. Then the next season spent a high pick on Jones. Kind of glad things worked out that way.

How do we play the Oline situation? Lane is out. Mailata is back. IMO I play Mailata at RT, Dillard at LT, Dickerson at LG, Kelce at C and Herbig at RG. Really think this could be a strong long term answer for us potentially. Leaves Driscoll as that top backup option. Opeta another solid option. 
   So Kelce goes down. I move Dickerson to C. Herbig over to LG. Driscoll I’m at RG.

   Dillard goes down. I move Mailata over to LT and Driscoll in at RT.

Dickerson gets hurt. I move Herbig to LG and Driscoll in at RG.

Basically like Driscoll on the right side. Herbig seems solid at either G spot. Dickerson hasn’t been good but looking long term he needs experience and to play through things. Him at LG seems more like a possible season long move. Brooks is a starter when he gets back. Really would trade him if possible. Opeta is a quality backup LG in my mind.

Does anybody think we should just bench Dillard for Mailata and have Driscoll start at RT?

I’m looking for Tarron Jackson and Milton Williams to break out this week. I liked these draft picks. Be great if they get the opportunity and deliver this early in their careers. Sweat I’m predicting a big game for. Calling a two sack performance.

Tough matchup because we can’t cover their WR. I don’t think McCaffrey will play….so that’s huge. Our Dline should get it going against their mediocre Oline. But that only happens if we stop the run and kind of cover their WR. Singleton and Cox haven’t transitioned well to Gannon’s scheme. Hoping these two can answer this week. We have to win this game. I’m not thinking we are a great team or anything….but the wheels might start falling off this bus if we continue in bad defeats. Think this might be the more winnable game we have in the next few. Also feels like some frustration is starting to show up. Big game for us!

No. Mailata played some RT last year and looked pretty good

nah I disagree. Moving guys around is for training camp and preseason if you have questions. By the time the season starts,this should have all been ironed out
