I was big on DJ Moore for us in that draft. He’s fast and shifty. Robbie Anderson was my burner free agent option I liked. McCaffrey I was big on also even though some were very against him. He’s been having some durability issues lately so we’ll see long run. He went too early in the draft for us to consider anyway. I thought the Giants should have taken Darnold. Instead they took Barkley. Then the next season spent a high pick on Jones. Kind of glad things worked out that way.

The knock on Caff was he was injured pre draft Some can come back, others can't so it's just more risk, but if they heal, then you got a bargain

Does anybody think we should just bench Dillard for Mailata and have Driscoll start at RT?

IDK I got bashed for saying lets try Dillard at LG. I believe him and mailata would stuff any blind side rushes

Thought the Giants should have taken the guy that is protecting Wentz now...IMO the best OL in the entire NFL.  Then they could have taken Chubb round 2.  Instead of the same 2 positions, but reversed in Barkley/ Herandez

Hard to know if he's overrated with a crap O line last year and non use this year

Idk, I think it says a lot that 3 years everyone is wondering why he isn't playing more?????  You see what I'm saying?  Coaches depend on their best players to help them keep their jobs. Apparently the current coach and the previous one didn't trust him enough??

Welp, we had the makeshift BS O line for a year, so no RB would do well with that. Now another rookie coach trying to prove to Howie he was a good hire with basically a rookiie QB so it's your basic disaster as opposed to the more complicated disasters we have 🙄

Yes sir! I think the 2 biggest issues with Sanders are:

1 - Deficient in passing game

2 - Ball security

With the OL such a problem last year………wouldn't you want to use your best player(s) to try and make up some slack? They are getting paid. So then why isn't Sanders used/trusted(?) more? 💡- Oh wait, maybe he's on the back burner for the playoff run

Kenny G is going to take over. Not hard to see as good as he is ALREADY.

How do we play the Oline situation? Lane is out. Mailata is back. IMO I play Mailata at RT, Dillard at LT, Dickerson at LG, Kelce at C and Herbig at RG. Really think this could be a strong long term answer for us potentially. Leaves Driscoll as that top backup option. Opeta another solid option.
So Kelce goes down. I move Dickerson to C. Herbig over to LG. Driscoll I’m at RG.

Dillard goes down. I move Mailata over to LT and Driscoll in at RT.

I do agree on the play Mailata at RT and Dillard LT just think those are our two best Ts though not sure I’d switch Mailata mid-game if something happened to Dillard I’d be more inclined to just play Driscoll.

Basically to me Driscoll is the new Big V he is the top backup for every spot but C…. Isn’t Opeta on COVID list????

Yeah I'd go Mailata at RT, Dillard at LT, Dillard at RG. I think given the current situation that's our strongest OL?

Maybe we should ask Lane and Kelce who they feel better playing next to???? That's your RG

Besides sipping Martini's and Manhattans in the executive box, I am wondering if Lurie and Howie actually understand football. if so, then they can see the struggles on defense due to lack of talent, and add  some players, or draft some TOP prospects If they' cannot do that, then Lurie should sell the team. When good players hit the market, we always come up short trying to save $50.00. Remember when players would play for less  just to COME HERE??? FAIL

What about short yardage?   This has been what I have been saying,  he is a nice leas RB for a committee.  In situational football,  they have been taking him off the field for 3 seasons now.   And he's not a workhorse.   Nothing extra about him that stands out yet.  The long runs where the defense messes up and leave huge holes aren't really due to his ability.

Can you carry a load if needed?    Can I rely on you in short yardage?   Can I rely on you to catch a pass on 3rd down?  Can I rely on you to make a block?      I don't see it, but give him 10-12 carries that aren't key plays, and he'll be fine for you.  You still need those plays during a game.

Heard on the radio.... Mailata at RT, Driscoll at RG tomorrow.

But curious on this one I’d think Hebig T RG leave Driscoll as the backup T… Though if can’t really say who is better at G between the two guys.

But if you lose a T you likely change two positions then Driscoll to T and Hebig comes in to replace Driscoll.

Idk, I guess they are going with what they feel is their best 5.   Which,  I completely understand what you are saying .... but to me, I always like the best 5 on the field.    What happens if they go 3 games without getting hurt?   Or what if one of the OTs gets hurt?  I imagine that they use Driscoll at RT in either case.  So he really only needs to play to the left of Mailata or outside of Herbig.  If that's the case,  why not use him at RG first if they feel he is better.   I imagine they think he would transition the move one more to his right isn't a big deal for him, and Herbig would play RG in either case?

Like I stated I’m ok with it just want sure who we else we had to play T just seen we elevated Clark…

My main question was more Driscoll vs Herbig at G as well I’m not there so don’t want to say one or the other but this I’ve seen not huge difference between the two

Idk,has Driscoll played Guard yet that we could compare?  They must see something in practice that we haven't seen on the field yet.  But seems obvious they like Driscoll better.
