Wonder if anyone thinks Buffalo would give up a pick for Ertz?

Don’t agree. More like perseverance. Even though things didn’t go perfect the team battled to the end. That was all that was needed. This whole team could have gone south and mutinied. They stuck together and didn’t panic.

Great coaching

After watching the chiefs/ Blls

ln replay we see the same  problems we saw in philly

Why? Knox has been good for them

Except the first half offensive gameplan

It’s leadership. Mailata said after giving up two straight terrible plays against Reddick that Hurts told him "next play.” Sticking together and belief in each other can go a long way.

And that's great leadership that really is. You can tell Hurts owns his own mistakes and supports others to get over theirs.

Panthers D was ranked second and third in the league in categories. Really like the team to stick together and battle to the end. Some good leadership showing up.

We played pitiful on offense except that one long pass play. 286 total yards is nothing to write home about. Siri's play calling is terrible. We are going to get spanked Thursday against a coach that can scheme against anyone. Carolina's Run defense is bad, yet we ran hardly at all until the end of the game. Dallas put up over 250 yards rushing against them. They showed us what to do. Yet our HC played into their strengths! Yes we won. Yes the Defense played well and that was nice to see. But To sit there and not see how bad we are is crazy. Hurts keeps staring down receivers. When he runs with the ball his head is never up looking down field. Part of this is not on Hurts. The head coach needs to work with him. Heck the HC needs to work with everyone! Why the heck do we put Ward in when we reach the RZ? He sucks and has no idea of what he is doing. How many times do we need to get called on an illegal pick before they realize how to run it.....?

When?

37 passes, 22 runs (9 by the QB) just isn't the formula for consistant success

Especially with a QB that hovers around that 60% completion rate.

at least 7 of those runs were at the end of the game when we were running out the clock.....

Yep that blocked kick sure helped. We'll get those every game no question. We slopped out a win, I wasn't impressed

Yep, glad we can count on a late blocked kick in every game

We won vs a good team. Your bar is obviously set way too high for this year’s team.

What’s wrong with making plays on ST? We also had our P shank a kick because he thought it was going to be blocked help them.

LMFAO, OH and the other option is to not play the next play???. This is the trash they "coach" in HS and if you need to be reminded of that, that;s not leadership-,thats just someone else telling you what you should already know. I'm going to say when you go to sleep tonight, the SUN will be up in the ,morning. Therefore, I am a leader

What you are missing here is that too many times players get stuck thinking about the last play. It’s always good for the leader of the team to back you up after you screwed up twice as well. Nothing wrong with a boost of confidence from your teammates.

You and I saw it the same. I saw no progress from Hurts. Same HS ball. It's like we are SO inept, they have no answers for us

Playing coherent ball is not a high bar. In fact, every fan base in the NFL asks for it. I'm no different and you shouldn't lower your bar so low that you need 5 Tequilas to get under it

Lol at the anger on here.  It is what it is.  The team isn't going to run the ball with the current make-up of players.  The run blockers are out up front... this particular QB will run, its what he does.  It's his obvious #1 skull he brings to the table... like the tangible skill, not the make believe stuff the 7 year old fans seem to cling to.

It is what it is, they got a win.  The #1 pick seems to be improving... and Watkins and Gainwell look good.   Idk whatever you are all looking for, but how long does it need to go on before you realize you aren't getting it from this group.   They need to do it their way.

2 plays stand out for me in my point about the weak arm.   The first was the pass where Smith caught it at the 1 or 2. A stronger arm there gets the ball to him where he doesn't have to come get it outside the end zone.     The second was the INT down the sideline.   Sure he overthrew Ertz...but the bigger point was the DB knew he couldn't reach Smith who was running a clear out, so he broke off to catch the INT.

These are issues that aren't going to change.  But congrats to getting a win, regardless of how bad they played.  Miami lost, if Indy wins to keep pace with Tennessee,  it's a great weekend for Eagles fans.

Nothing is wrong with it, but when you play so crappy, you have to count on a play like this to win, that doesn't make your team good,it makes your team LUCKY. Maybe we can beat the gnats with all their injuries, but unless we get 2,3 lucky plays per game,I don't see us going to post season with our playing ability. We slopped out a win vs a team that had an off day. It happens, but I am no where near anointing us as "coming on strong". The win just knocked us down a few draft spots is all lol

You should know this as a professional in any sport. You don't need someone to tell you. Players know who made the error, no need to state it is there?????? (more HS and college stuff here) if you haven't figured this out after playing 6-8 years in HS and college,You better ALREADY know this.if you don't someone failed you along the way

Yup

"We were just executing at its purest form,'' Hurts said. ''It was the zone read making it happen.''                        If you buy this BS I have swamp land to sell you, and while I am happy for them that they slopped out a win, statements like this one tell me how far away we are from perfection lol

Aren't you in Carolina right now?   Isn't the win good for you so you don't have to deal with the locals?
