Think it’s been pretty clear on the offensive and defensive gameplans. Not many have been good coming into the game. Give credit to the D this past game for a solid gamelan. ATL game probably give credit to both. Otherwise the gameplans have been poor at best. Patrick Mahomes most think is the best QB in the league. Had the same record as us. You blaming him for everything too?

It's a good thing Pitts had his first game and was still learning the playbook as a rookie or he would have toasted us. He has been doing lots more damage lately,so again we we lucky we drew them first

Those are Siri’s limitations

Nope you got this backwards, those are HURTS limitations and Siri has to plan the game plan around them

Nothing to do with Tampa's run D though?

Stats are misleading. Tampa Bay has given up the least yards on the ground per game, but mostly due to the fact Brady has been torching up the other teams secondary. They are up so much by Halftime most teams abandon the run for the most part....

Can’t throw those ‘on-a-rope.

You are in bad trouble if you cannot laser a 15 yard pass with accuracy(see Brady). Maybe you can't throw 60 yards, but you'd better have the velocity to rifle it short and I am not seeing it, so I agree with Joe. IDK how "fixable" arm strength is. I'm sure you can IMPROVE it, but if the natural muscles are not there you're only going to get so much out of him. Speaking of Brady and his lasers. Welker made a career out of it,so did Gronk and jail bird Hernandez. Why can't we do that with Jjaw,Ertz and Goedert????

Not many QBs could carry Siri and Gannon the way Hurts has.

Listen to Carolina’s coach. He knows all too well how Hurts can carry a team on his back.

Oh boy,IDK where to start with this one lol. SO, I will just let it lay there

Not real high on Siri. He wasn’t ready….clearly. If he can get there eventually would be the question. But let’s not act like he’s developed this perfect offense specific for Hurts and gameplans perfect every game. Siri hasn’t done a good job so far. To me that’s just fact.

Hurts knows like 6 plays. How many pages of the playbook have never seen daylight with Hurts under center? Saw some great inventive play calls last night from both KC and Buffalo. They do this because they have the PLAYERS to do it. We are trying to execute the same 6 plays Hurts knows, and it's pretty easy to defense. The D played well and the ST play got us the game. had little to do with Hurts "putting the team on his back" Most QB's can score with a 30 yard short field

Yeah but that defeats the purpose of drafting flat out burner WR's. We should have drafted TALL, heavier guys who can do JUMP balls(such as Alshon types). Hightower would probably work in this offense

Hightower has good speed. But nope. Don’t agree. Those long balls to Watkins have been huge plays. But speed isn’t just going deep. Break a big play off a short pass can happen. Tyreek Hill gets the ball in all kinds of ways. One missed tackle and…boom….he’s gone. Saw the Bills great corner White whiff on Hill on a short pass and he was gone.

Seemed like Siri’s idea of offense was based on YAC. That has nothing to do with Hurts.

LOL anyone is open on a missed defensive assignment. 'LONG" balls? Alot of those are once again LUCK because they should not have been thrown(and you know it)

Has anyone ever seen Siri’s playbook? Hurts was running a much more sophisticated offense in college. Watch OK offense and see how that coach does nothing but laugh and look down at our coach’s offense. Wish we could buy him away from OK to upgrade.

Did the OK offense face PRO defenses in college????

You have to admire how calm he was under fire and what great poise. It was a learning moment and I think it shows he's growing into the franchise quarterback we need.

I am not a fan of the RPO offense at the professional level. While that works in college because they play against other college kids,it's obvious it doesn't work in the NFL. We tried this with Chip remember????,So now we are trying it with a new coach and an RPO QB instead of an RPO coach. Results seem to be the same to me, which leads me to believe it's not working

Does it matter if you think he only knows six plays?

Like I said,he is always calm,that doesn't make him a good QB

Sure it matter, defenses don't have to work at it hard, they know our 6 plays and the 2 wins we relied on FLUKES to win. Does that sound like progress to you? Show me a solid game(without the BS fluke plays) then I will say we progressed. Haven't seen any growth. Hurt still plays like he did last year. And BTW "dullaz sucks" But they are beating the crap out of us(again) and THEY have a new coach too!!!

I suppose what I am trying to say is, I don't want to see the ugly "fluke play" wins. I want to see a win playing solid coherent ball and I have not seen that yet. We "try hard" so gold stars all around, but with no growth we're not going anywhere

So is Lane off another week??? Most people get 3 days off to cope with whatever it is, not 16(and at alot less pay). I thought the O line played ok for what was thrust upon them yet again, but we're not going to grow until that line is set in stone. Oh well off the fix my fantasy teams due to the many injuries I have now(ugh) Thanks to Darnold, my daughter kicked me to the curb and is now the only unbeaten team. I'm gonna have to beat her in the playoffs to salvage my pride lol

None of this makes any sense. He knew all these plays. But now under Siri he only knows six plays? Seems like Siri is the main one holding the offense back to me. If Shannahan, McVay or AR were in charge the playbook would be much bigger. But even AR didn’t come into every game with the perfect gameplan. Somehow it seems like you are suggesting that Hurts can’t throw Slants, outs, ins, crossers…,like Hurts inability I’d what is causing Siri to look like a first time playcaller. Or maybe….just maybe…it’s because he is a first time playcaller. Maybe his custom offense for Hurts isn’t to custom and perfect for hurts at all. Maybe there is a learning curve here.

He can't execute them, why add more?

But hey Carolina is the second or third best defense depending on what you use to measure league wide. So clearly we should have been an offensive juggernaut. Otherwise everybody isn’t good enough.

He's not a rookie, he was here ALL last year. We saw Ped pull the playbook with Hurts in there because he is NOT Wentz. I see no difference with Siri in. he cant execute the 6 plays he is given, same as he couldn't last year under Ped

Yep, I was surprised at their poor play, but the fact they WERE poor didn't light up that "juggernaut" offense did it? We had to count on a blocked punt lol

I saw Pedey limited by inexperienced WR

An Oline in shambles

O line in shambles once again. We have better WR's now than last year,so what's the problem? Inexperienced WR's LOL, how is Chase doing in cincy? How did the inexperienced JJ do last year in his rookie year? Even "low life" rookies like Van Jefferson have more yards and scores. Smith should be on track for 800 yards anyway

I’d answer first time playcaller. Yet still inexperience at WR.
