You can run an RPO offense in college because let's face it, you are not facing 11 guys that are top tier tacklers every week. This is why a college offense fails at the pro level IMO. it's"cute" but ineffective

Isn’t that what we ran at the end to beat a good Panthers team

That’s fine but that isn’t Hurts making plays that’s the playmakers…

Again see difference in passing first half Hurts was something like 15/24 for like 74 yards vs Carolina. Think it really highlights the throws he is making 15 completed passes for 74 yards.

I want to see the actual QB making throws ie the pass to Quez deep, the dime to Geodart on the final TD drive these big time throws are what I want to see and more consistently.

Again if we can consistently attack teams deep and in the intermediate make them respect us in those areas it should open up our bread and butter underneath YAC stuff but right now just looks like teams sit on the underneath stuff

Tell Siri. It has been his gameplan.

Not many teams get 150 yards most weeks from RBs...

Seems like they do against us

Yes 51 yards in the air, absolutely winding up.   You say he throws a good deep ball... why is he short on all those types of throws where it isn't 1, 2, 3 throw?     I don't think it's misjudging he distance all the time... do you?  If you don't know differences between HS , College and Pro... I don't know what to tell you..  51 yards is not an NFL arm today.    How many examples do we need each week for you to acknowledge it hurts ( no pun intended) his game?

It does seem like he hits Watkins on a deep ball every week. Those are good examples consistently.

Nothing developed for Hurts... using an offense that fits his skill sets... it's nothing new, you see it on Saturdays.

Actually would say he went from a brilliant offensive mind in college at OK to a very low level offensive mind in Siri and Steichen. That’s not Hurts…that’s the coaching. Most guys go from simpler offense on college to more complex in the pros. With Hurts he’s having to deal with the opposite.

Again, extremes with you... can't discuss with someone who won't listen.  Planet Ham must be nice!

The weather is pretty nice here. The view is excellent. Definitely all have a great time! But yeah we don’t just ease our way into the water here….we cliff dive!

I'll pass on college....but how are the defenses OK plays against?

Those same ones that Kliff Klingsbury was playing against and now he’s doing it  arguably better than anybody iNthe NFL….gotta make you go hmmmmm

Are we looking at the offenses that Carolina has played so far... is that part of the equation?    Jets, Saints,  Texans,  Eagles... not exactly 1998 Minnesota?     Dallas is probably the only good offense they faced so far...they scored 36.

Idk... might mean something. ..depends what you look at... or how you want to spin it to make your favorite player look better than he is?

So your saying the second ranked D should really only be considered ….how good? You think they are terrible?

Wow... imagine then what the QB from last year had to work with?   Excuse didn't work for him though?

You can’t use the same excuse every year. You can’t just point to ten games out of five years and say this is how great I am. 2017 Wentz looked fantastic! You also see that Foles was SB MVP that year. Foles….

That was Rosie and Lurie low point. Screwed up everything possible. Especially with the coaching. But he also got beat out by a second round pick for his job. What you going to do? The answer was trade him for a second round pick. Basically like the markdown sticker they put on ice cream at the grocery store when they know the shipment was left out in the sun.

Used to be we judged players more on how they played in the postseason. For some reason Wentz gets a pass(postseason stats of 1 completion out of four attempts for 3 yards)from some on here.

2021 stat tracker
Jalen hurts has 1,365 yards passing

wentz has 920 yards passing

so we obviously upgraded with the guy that can’t throw. Even has a better Passer Rating.  AND he’s running for a ton of yards on top of it.

Haven’t even gotten into the intangibles yet. We know Hurts destroys him in that area.

Amari Cooper said the team is Thinking SB now.  Hahaha. So like the Cowboys to start well and immediately think they will win it all. Going to love watching them fall back to Earth.

Lmao yet Hurts has missed more then His fair share of plays but nope not to you it’s all Siri fault.

Just not sold on Hurts he doesn’t make the throws he needs consistently enough still pls ty of season to go but right now meh.

IDK they look solid to me. At least they will make post season we won't

Cowboys haven’t made anything yet. Not even halfway through the season and they are anointing themselves. Such a Cowboys thing to do.

Interceptions Thrown (Int)

Carson Wentz 1 (2021)

Jalen Hurts 3 (2021)

This kills off your 400 passing yard difference in an instant. And let's also recall their top WR(TY Hilton) is out and still is.

Who's going to stop them- the Gnats? US? or The Wuss?

Was his personal reason "I'm not sacrificing my body for a crap team anymore"?
