Whatever,he doesn't look comfortable on the right side no matter what he makes. Once again, Dillard whines his way to what he wants while Mailata manned up because Dillard "can only play on the left"(wuss)

Doubtful Dillard had anything to do with it likely Stouts call…. The reason Mailata probably looked off is because he had no reps at RT during the week the dude was hurt hadn’t played in two weeks either.

Really no difference in when we had Lane switch over mid games or play LT with no practice on the left side early in his career and he struggled.

Truly to me doesn’t make a difference which side they play on I do think Mailata can be a great RT though with the reps and Dillard has shown he can play LT…. But at the end of the day I just want to young bookend Ts

So if that is Mailata at LT & Dillard,Driscoll, someone else at RT fine…

If it’s Dillard LT and Mailata RT that’s fine with me  also

Worked ok last week I have to admit. That set up is all we have,so we should see it again tonight. IDK I just don't like Dillard.I can't put my finger on it lol

Saw the same thing

So did the Eagles make him take these, was it voluntary? Is this going to be the new league wide issue then? Can he sue the Eagles if these were over prescribed? Call the Enquirer because we want to KNOW

The Philly media and the way they like to attack think have to respect a ton of how Dillard has handled things…. stories about him as a rookie gets hurt and called soft in his 2nd year lost his job to Mailata(also got hurt early and camp)

But didn’t hear a peep from him kept his head down grinded when called on stepped up for us at LT

yeah he seemed really soft to me before, maybe that's it. It's a hard perception for me to shake, which is MY problem to deal with. he had a decent game last week. if he does fine again, that will go a long way for me

Quote from NBCSP article:

With Jordan Mailata back after missing two weeks with a knee injury, the Eagles in their win over the Panthers used Andre Dillard at left tackle, Landon Dickerson at left guard, Jack Driscoll at right guard and Mailata at right tackle, and Nick Sirianni indicated he would start those four at the same spots along with Jason Kelce at center on Thursday night.

No Geodart for us tonight that I’d a tough loss for us… Luckily we still have Ertz but not the same caliber blocker or YAC guy Geodart is

This is a good thing for us at least it’s the same 5 guys in the same spot for back to back weeks now… And I’ve been saying it if Mailata and Dillard hold up we should be moving Lane

Hoping Stoll can step up. Like what I've seen from him so far as newbie. Won't be no Goedert though for sure.

Yeah, some consistency on OL would be huge. Ooooh…2-for-2 now. Can we keep it for 3 in a row lol.

I mean like, Lane has prob seen his best days. He has taken a beating and been a very productive player for this org.

Yes, been talking about moving on to an Oline we can have more of a future with. Mailata will be fine at RT….he was just coming back from injury. Dickerson needs to improve quickly though. Big matchup here for him and Driscoll(Kelce also) tonight. Glad Kelce has been there to help hold things down, real quality vet presence for the young guys. Hopefully Brooks can get back enough to be tradeable before the deadline here though. Lane we have tons of money sunk into. Not sure if he retires how that would work out. Seumalo was underrated I felt but hasn’t been able to suit up much for a long time now.

If I remember, Stoll is an ok blocker

Don't think Lane will be around anytime this year,so it looks to me like this is the set up for the rest of the season

Huge piece of the future puzzle potentially. Goedert might not stick around after this season. Maybe we franchise him one year. We could trade Ertz. Or maybe he stays if Goedert leaves. Also have a nice young kid on IR that looks promising at TE. It’s the one position Rosie seems to be able to draft also. Maybe Peele the old TE coach was a big factor in that though. Don’t think the two TE set is the way to go so much though. Three WR seems preferred.

Think Stoll can be OK. I think he tries too hard and dropped a few. If he settles down he can be usable. I would think he is not a full blocker, but can do a chip and go possibly

Think he’s developing as a pass catcher and was known as an excellent blocker

I hope he doesn't because he is being paid at LT rates

IMHO he should have never been asked to move to RT

He looked very promising at RT initially. Plays that way…,like a traditional RT that mauls people. I’ve always thought of it like we had it with Tre at LT and Runyon at RT. A little more run blocking mauling used on the right side. More finesse on the left side. Things might just be working out for us.

He caught some, then dropped one(doing a football move before he caught it) and was mad at himself. So at least he cares enough to get better

Well we had no choice because Dillard SUCKS at RT lol

I want the mauler on the blind side

https://www.nflmockdraftdatabase.com/players/2022/evan-neal    They actually moved this guy TO LT, but his natural position is RT. If we want the line solidified, this is your guy. best T in the next draft

Pass blocking the blind side has always been held at a higher priority.

Thats why we paid Mailiata lol NRS(not rocket science). I want him to maul the DE

Just a difference in pass blocking vs run blocking. Mauling…I think run block
