The playcalling is weak….on both sides of the ball. First time playcallers. The coaches are rookies.

And this has zero to do with how bad Hurts has been…. Bad play calling had nothing to do with Hurts missing WIDE OPEN guys or under throwing deep passes by 5 yards. Stop with the excuses for Hurts and actually judge the plays he can control which are a lot and they haven’t been great

I mean two Reagor under throws deep, skipped a pass to Reagor wide open on a curl, sailed a pass on a wide open Ertz and I’m sure there are others im missing but these are examples of what I’ve been preaching he has to get more consistent in these are little dump off plays that the skill players do all the work and pad Hurts stats these are plays he HAS to make with his arm and just isn’t on a consistent enough basis.

BTW last week Wentz threw for over 400 yards without his top WR(like he did here without ANY decent WR's). Let's see what he does as Hilton is scheduled to return. I doubt he would get a full slate of looks his first game back, but he might. Sorry Wentz>Hurts

What's scary is we are on the same page now LOL

I'm happy for Ertz, he is going to the team we SHOULD have had HERE. He is also going to a team with a functioning FO (lol)

Anyway, how long do you think it will be until Howie admits(once again) that his ego was too high and mighty, his knowledge too low, and comes crashing back to reality? I'm going to say the middle of 2022. Better yet, will Lurie EVER wake up and stop trusting Howie to build a team? I know Joe wants this to be a disaster for awhile, but we've had those before(and often lately) and Jivin Jeffie still doesn't wake up to the fact he needs a "football guy" in a high place and not new slaves, knaves and peons, to put the blame on for the fact he fails to do this on a regular basis

I think the trade deadline can tell us a ton about this team… We should be looking to move older guys add draft capital cap space and let the younger guys finish out the year…

That Cards offense is scary… Murray, Dhop, Green, Kirk, Ertz it’s basically pick your poison on how we beat you…

probably won’t ever get a better opportunity at an SB then now(maybe next year) depending on contracts

Right, all I am saying was that we have the weapons Wentz needs NOW,but that is after the fact

Ehhh,  we are getting there.... some nice compliments, not really any standouts.   The health is the main thing.... right now Goedert missed one game,  that's it with the skill guys...  last year was a mess around Wentz at those spots with all the constant injuries and changes.   That is huge.

I would have said Houston added Ertz and Green to give Watson some more weapons as JJ makes a final push for a ring!

The issue will be how the contracts effect the cap.  It limits who we can trade.

For me, Sanders is the ideal to get some return.  Goedert I think they try to keep and worst case get a comp pick.   Not sure who else can be traded now, might have to wait until next June... or at least the offseason where they can use the June designation?

Dillard is a trade candidate,  but I like the idea of Mailata at RT long term?  Who knows?

One year isn't enough GB.  I think we need a Marion Campbell type cleanse.  The young fans who never experienced the long drought could use a little humility.  On top of the organization who is very arrogant IMO.

The next " assessment" needs to be ... what really worked,  and what didn't.    The preferences of how Lurie wants to do things needs to go in the toilet.   Get players regardless if it's a LB or position you don't like.  Run the ball if it fits your players.     The next time you pay a QB to be a franchise guy... don't set him up to fail.   The next coach like Doug.... give him control over his staff.   Get starters everywhere... before getting backups at your favorite positions.

Stop living on planet Jeffrey... and come back to the real world.

I think spending a few seasons in the basement will be good to lift this air of. . " it's the Eagles, we won't be bad for long, regardless of the moves we make"  that needs to go.  That needs to go ASAP!   Get embarrassed with your decisions and the results.   Let's have major success in KC and Indy... let Doug get hired and turn an organization around.    A few years of all this... something has to register.   But without embarrassment Lurie doesn't seem to change.

Hard to do, because this is the Eagles franchise. The buck stops with Lurie, it's his planet. Nothing else really matters, and it won't, until we get a GM who can draft and lead a coaching staff without interference from Howie. Kinda what CHip wanted to do and now that won't happen again because of the first fiasco. So even though both are fiasco's they will take/settle for the lesser fiasco instead of trying anything new like getting a real GM

Murray lol. They have the crew to go to the big dance

Stats to date for Desmond Ridder-QB Cincinatti. They are undefeated and have beaten Temple, Notre Dame, UCF and Indiana. This is the kid I am interested in and we wouldn't have to move at this point. He should be late 1 early 2 which could of course rise or fall as the season goes on. Add to this he has between 500 and 700 yards rushing on top of these passing stats. He has arm strength. he was knocked early for inaccuracy, but this year it appears he has cleaned that up with only 2 picks to date

https://nbcsports.stats.com/cfb/players.asp?id=279643 This is more concise. He really has NO top flight WR's either

Potential draftees I am watching    Round 1- Desmond Ridder-QB-Cincy   Ahmad Gardner-CB-Cincy  Evan Neal(would be our first pick) ROT-Bama   Olave/Wilson- WR's -OSU   Aiden Hutchinson-DE-Michigan       Round 2-  Zakoby McClain-OLB-Auburn   Kaiir Elam-CB-Florida   Thayer Munford-G/T-OSU   Jaquan Brisker-S-Penn St   John Metchie-WR(slot) Bama

Anyone besides me find it odd that MLB is allowing the NLCS game to be played in Atlanta?

Haven't been following it. Is Atlanta a lower seed that didn't earn home turf?

https://www.espn.com/nfl/team/stats/_/name/phi/philadelphia-eagles   OK Ham let's try some facts You will see Hurts with 1480 yards passing(to date) Now if you look at the YAC stats Hurts has actually THROWN for 634 yards which equates to 126.8 yards per game. Any 1/2 arse QB can do that which shows you we need a QB that can THROW the ball downfield. I think Hurts would be fine as a BU,but for me he's not my guy. When you consider the WR's and TE's we have(all these games were with Ertz too),you SHOULD be able to see how pathetic this is.If I can throw 13 passes of 10 yards per game I would have 130 yards per game,so Hurts isn't even doing that. Now I will give you the few drops and we DO need that cleaned up. Still these stats are sad for an NFL starting QB. I know you are a big Hurts supporter and you certainly are entitled to your opinion, but possibly you can see my opinion using the stats given
