Nice... so the Jax guy and the Bengals guy look like good late targets.   I like to stock up on them... we play weird rules.... 1 RB/TE/WR... and 5 flex.   But i'm always set at TE where a lot of guys struggle.  30 roster spots, you can play some defense too...lol.

UGH I suck at defense(IDP) lol.At any rate I would target Troutman(TE) for NO.BIG tough kid.Small school, may have a little tough time transitioning to the NFL,but he's a BIG kid and a guy I could stash

No IDP in this league

I;m up in 4 picks... the nice crop of 2nd round WRs in this past real draft is coming up ... I want to go there ... otehr idea would be RB from the Chargers... the rookie from UCLA Joshua Kelly????   Any opinion on him?

IDK I like this Trautman kid and if rumors about Kamara being on the block are true,he may even come into play this year.Brees is old,he should be looking alot at outlet receivers rather than taking the hits which would play to the TE

OHH.. I meant you can play defense as far as getting guys to block other teams from getting them... like take 6 TEs just to have etc.  Not actual defensive player... sorry for confusion.

IDK Dallas IMO would be a better choice at RB

They have Cook though

OK ok NP,the "block 'em out" technique LOL,then you offer trades later HAHA I do that too

yeah but your drafting for the future right? if the kid pans out they will drop Cook.Remember they are under severe cap stress now(72 mil in the hole?) Just a thought

So what happens if say they drop/trade Kamara, can you draft him in your league? IDK how changing player teams works in your league

If I know Sean,he will try a 2 TE set to get this kid involved.he has the stature of GRONK.he's rough may take a year to gel in the NFL,but if you're drafting for the future he's not a bad rook choice. You could do worse

No change... I kept Gronk last year incase he decided to unretire.   You keep the player until you drop him regardless of team.

OK.some leagues they become like "free agents" with a team change where you can draft them

Interesting, never saw that before?   Would figure the player remains on a roster via the website, not sure how that would work with the website taking a player off a roster????  I can see the team label change in the player profile though??

It was along time ago.It made it more "interesting" because in a contract year you had to decide if they were staying on their team of going.may not even have that anymore

GL with your draft, let us know who you got

I'm up in 2 picks.... I'm leaning towards Shenault.  passing on RB for now, too many committees, and there always ends up being one dropped or undrafted.

Just took Shenault.   Before me it seems they took some veteran players... so I may be able to sneak in some more rookies here.     Ruggs, Jefferson and Shenault so far.

Putting a ton of thought in my keeper draft and pretty sure I’m going...

Round 1 Mahomes/Jackson- unorthodox go QB this high but secure me a guy I can trust for awhile likely consistently score more north of 40 points a week(yea we have some crazy scoring rules)

round 2- want a stud consistent WR Michael Thomas tips my list but if gone might go Devante Adams sounds bit odd but age is also playing a factor in my decisions

rounds 3-5 where I want to focus on my RBs top two guys I want are Jacobs and Sanders think they both be stud PPR backs for the foreseeable future.... Thinking Aaron Jones as my 3rd RB

round 6-8 likely fill out my WRs if a stud TE still on the board will snag one or Kittle/Kielce/Ertz...

Wow we waived Holyfield thought he played his way onto the roster bit shocked really going with only 3 RBs it seems

Burnett has been sounding pretty solid. I’m hoping for Warren and Bailey to make PS.

13 more players get the ax!

Practice squad capacity is now 16 players instead of 10. Teams can now keep up to six players with no limits on NFL experience. Teams can also block four practice squad players from being poached on a weekly basis.

I hope they keep Bailey on the ps. He didn't get many opportunities in training camp but he is fast.

My guess is that they will add a rb at some point. I am surprised Holyfield got cut, but he is probably going to be on the ps.

Killins seems like a project to train at wr.

Most of the cuts were on offense, so I think they are largely done with them. There are 28 guys left, but Brooks and Jeffery will likely go on pup, and I am guessing one more cut will come at tight end, which Togiai and Wilson battling it out.

My guess is that the team will add some guys back in after final cuts due to injuries. So Burnett could be added due to Reagor being banged up, either as a promotion from the PS or as a roster spot if Reagor goes on short-term IR. The same with Parks and with the guys banged up on the dline. Changes this year make it a lot easier to move guys back and forth, so I think the initial roster isn't a huge deal like it usually is, especially since the lack of a preseason made it hard to scout opponents.

I’m thinking plan is to stash Holyfield on the PS and just ride with 3 guys.... With the new rules can call Holyfield up if needed for a game or two and can block him from getting poached if needed
