Cool, then they should have stated it that way. This totally makes sense, but like others said if they had a monday game, he could have played which brings up the "what would the fantasy folks do"? Because fantasy doesn't reset until Tuesday

I mean my guess is he still would not play you would be asking Ertz who just played a game Thursday likely finds out he is traded what Friday at some point… To then possibly get one practice in with AZ and have a enough of a grasp on the offense to play by Monday….

but in some odd chance something like that happened and I was league manager I’d figure a way to give the higher of the two scores for Ertz

So when do we plan on tapping it,year 5?

I think some WRs develop slower. Don't give up on him…yet.

Agholor had a big drop in OT today. I immediately got chills!….like I was sick. Painful memories!
Then he really turned it around to help the Eagles in their Super Bowl run. Reagor catches the ball well enough. He may need a better QB to showcase his skills too.

That's what this discussion is,about how Hurts is stifling WR development. IDK how Reagor or the others will get better running the same 3 routes we call because that's all Hurts can do

I'm calling it now-Aaron Rodgers to New Orleans

Wild game at 3 rivers. I hope Taylor will be ok 😞

They were contending with Brissett? If they were, why did they get rid of him? Oh that's right because Brissett was a BACK UP to LUCK. Like I said, they saw their problem and fixed it because the team was built for LUCK and we'll ride our BU QB into the sunset(literally) because were are too STUPID to get a #1 QB and now there are no real franchise QB's I see coming in this draft. Like i said one may emerge,if they DO,he better be ON THE TABLE on draft day

The kid from Liberty looks good

It’s Hurts fault Reagor hasn’t developed a route tree yet now? He needs to work on making his cuts much more crisp as well. But yeah….Hurts can’t throw and In, Out, Slant…..

What throw is it you think Hurts can’t make?

https://www.actionnetwork.com/nfl/malik-willis-scouting-report-nfl-draft-profile-2022  Maybe. IDK he was a BU everywhere else he enrolled and kept transferring out so he could start somewhere.  Small school, not alot of top flight competition.

They said he was moving his limbs,so that's a good sign

I didn't want Reagor for this very fact. He had no route tree at TCU either. That's why the VIkes war room exploded when we took him. JJ was NFL ready Reagor is/was a PROJECT. Just another BAD call by Howie and why I have to consider both WR's from OSU. Reagor seems like a very slow learner. What good is Reagors speed on an 8 yard slant? TE's can do that. We got Reagor(and Quez) so WENTZ could THROW DEEP,but NO WENTZ lol

https://www.profootballnetwork.com/john-metchie-iii-alabama-wr-nfl-draft-scouting-report-2022/  Like this kid for us also. He's quick and elusive like JJ was. The fact he is a willing blocker is a plus too. Late 1, early 2 IMO but we have the picks. SO IDK what's on Howies mind. I like Evan Neal with our first pick,so that would probably wipe out the OSU WR's. If Howie is sticking with Hurts, then he needs a line that can hold for the 7 seconds it takes him to make a decision 😬 but that's not going to make Hurts throw farther either,so once again we have a big mess courtesy of Howie and the gang

Watching Wentz and the Colts he just unloaded a gorgeous deep ball

Which one? There were a few

They were a contending team before they chose him to be their guy.

7th place without much injury... they didn't add squat this year other than QB, with the LT retiring,  the stud LG injured and the best WR out.   Watch the games, that might help.   Long season.

Ravens D looked pretty good vs Herbert and all those weapons... the same D Wentz lit up Monday night.   Let's see how the season plays out.

Btw, was watching old Dallas vs New England game from 2007.... Brady threw a pass from 31 yard line that landed on the opposing 2... 67 yards... wish Hurts had that weak arm. Lol

I can see so many uses for speed pass catchers. Not all just running Go routes. Connected on some big deep ball plays also. Really been lacking since the Super season. It’s  exciting to watch these three young guys develop. Reagor has plenty of untapped potential still. Just keep feeding the ball towards him and keep developing him. Watkins also. I’m a bit concerned about them developing their route tree. I believe those two limited route options has stunted the offense these last two seasons. Our HC supposedly specializes in WR development. So I’m going to try and trust in that at least.

Watkins has been running and catching all kinds of routes....  Smith runs some good short routes and benefits well from the rub routes.... but I agree with Reagor with his limited routes... would disagree it's been exciting to watch him.   Watkins though, pretty impressive ball skills.

But we also won’t talk about Colts having a what top 10 defense last year and are one of the worst D to start the year this season…. But that is somehow Wentz fault also…The sheer fact that you blame Wentz for literally everything that goes wrong on a team yet make every single excuse under the sun for Hurts is just sad

He lost the coin toss Monday night in OT.   For real though,  that contributed to the loss.   The intangibles that Hurts has over Wentz right there.  😆😆😆

LMAO, yeah cause there's zero way Hurts can hit a go route, so obviously we are FORCED to find other uses for them. Smith just racking up those impressive rookie numbers(not) Reagor has 10 TD's and Quez is over 600 yards already(also NOT)

Hurts can hit the go route ... he just needs to throw the ball early.  The arm comes into play when the timing is off... or he rolls left.

They would get extra points.  What could they do? He would be either in r out, locked by Thursday either way.

Any deep ball that he holds for longer than 3 seconds....any throw he rolls to his left.  Those would be ones I think he can't make.   The other question is which throws can he make consistently?   I think his screens and slants are excellent with consistency... the intermediate stuff that he can actually throw, needs more consistency.   He is an excellent runner though.

I seen the one to Campbell for the TD know he hit TY for a big one also….

But Wentz must of have unimpressive since he only threw for 223 yards didn’t get 300 who cares he threw for what 185 in the first half and had little reason to throw in the 2nd half

https://www.colts.com/news/carson-wentz-ty-hilton-jonathan-taylor-texans-week-6-stats   The lead was so big they just cruised with Taylor. Egg on face Howie needs to watch his games to see how a real rebuild works

Because of YAC. You hit a guy on a slant in stride then he can run. Make a guy miss and he might have a bunch of room to run.

Jury still out on some of this. He needs to work the middle of the field more. Have better overall vision of the defense and what’s going on. Really think he could get some great timing routes linked up with these receivers. That three or five step drop and throw type timing.

Yeah thats one of the 6 plays we run, don't you think defenses have that play down by now?
