I don’t disagree just stating that if the 1st is more important to Indy they might have to consider pulling Wentz around the 12th game which does leave lot of football left…

Why I’d said that Eagles would end up with a mid/late first or high 2nd rounder. If Indy is still in the hunt they won’t pull Wentz

My point is if divisional teams lose their WB's or stars with 5,6 games left, there is no reason to pull Wentz because you cannot see into the future and if you sit Wentz, he will just get PO'd like he did when we drafted Hurts. he is an Alpha competitor, those guys will play with broken legs if you let them

Again don’t disagree just stating the facts why I believe we will end up getting a mid/late first from Indy because they won’t pull Wentz in time they will fight for that playoff spot(yes I think they stay in the hunt for playoffs last week 13)

I would just hope Wentz doersn' t get hurt to the point he can't play

We have no idea what the "facts" are until week 15. I would bank on him playing 75%. They won't pull Wentz over a draft pick EVER. I'm not even worrying about this

Either way we get a round 1 or 2,it's not like the pick vanishes lol

Lmao again buddy I put a scenario out what we were talking about but the fact isn’t really debatable if Wentz plays 13 games we will likely get a 1st…

The question would be when would Indy decide to pull him and I agree with you they won’t unless they are just downright dreadful the next 6 weeks… If they are a 5-5,5-6 team still in the hunt they will keep Wentz playing

At the rate we are playing I am assuming a top 5 or maybe a 6 pick

He will play 13 games,UNLESS he gets hurt so bad he is OUT for the season

I don't care if they go 5-10,they are not puling Wentz for what little difference it would make in a non descript draft class

Besides injury, the one other way they pull him is if starts throwing 4 picks a game like he did here

Yes they would if they are 3-9 they will pull Wentz for the pick…. If they are completely out the hunt they will pull Wentz and Wentz will be fine with it because they will tell hey we going to sit you use that high first to get you a weapon and attack this next year.

Why I said we will have a mid/late first or high 2nd

Then Wentz would want out and the fans would turn against them. They aren't as stupid as we are

So there's gong to be a HUGE mammoth caverous difference between their 1 and 2 pick??? At the risk of pissing off your new QB and fan base?

I can game plan against us from now until the seasons end using 2 sentences 1) Put pressure on Hurts 2) Seal off the ends   OK send this memo to the remaining 12 teams we have to play. Rocket science vs a college offense. I should be a GM by now

I think part of it is the DC know how to defend the RPO better than Siri and Steichen know how to draw it up.

I’ve been thinking low percentage at the first. Hopefully a good second round pick.

Force him left.   Tampa's White said on national TV that they knew he liked to run right, so they tried to prevent that.   That's national TV.  I was wondering how long teams would start doing that.  Seemed obvious to me after last year.

It's a pretty simple concept, easliy defeated in the pro's. That's why is never works(or rarely does) For  gimmick play it's fine, but you cant run an offense all day with it all day IMO. Much better to use play action in the pro ranks

Yeah I said that #2 was to seal off the ends, even the right side. His accuracy on the run is AWFUL(it's bad enough when he plants) Usually running right he will end up throwing it away. he needs to either pass or run,not pass ON THE RUN,He's awful at it

Be an interesting stretch for Indy play SF this week get to play Titans again after that they have jets and Jags before the Bills game…

5-5 Indy what do they do if they lost to Bills and sit at 5-6 would they pull Wentz to keep the puck at that point???

I would assume Wentz plays game 12... vs Tampa.  The math needs him to play game 13 for 75 % .   17 game season now.

Still IMO too much time left and alot can happen, We saw Tenn lose 3 players in ONE game. I don;t see them puling wentz out. He wants to play and they want to avoid the same disaster we had here making Wentz unhappy

GB... they don't have to worry about making Wentz happy like we did.  They aren't on the hook for the cap hit and what is Wentz going to say....send me to team # 3 that doesn't have Reich.     The time to tank is after game 12.   Yes still early... but it is for sure a possibility if Tennessee holds the lead and gets that tiebreaker week 8.   5-7 for Indy is a possibility.  If Tennessee is 7-5 with the tiebreaker, it's pretty much over.   They will sit Wentz at that point.   They aren't in a one year do or die.  If he plays well but the team can't win enough with all their other issues... they are fine keeping their pick.

Lol... that's why you aren't a GM...would be asinine to play Wentz with minimal shot at playoffs.

Where would he have left to go? He has no leverage in Indy.

The fan base would be more annoyed if they gave up their #1 pick for minimal shot at playoffs.

They aren't going to sit Wentz that early for a 1 round draft pick difference. They want him to get all the chemistry he possibly can especially with TY Hilton and new TE's(Tremble). It's not like that pick VANISHES,it simply goes from a 1 to a 2. Now if that pick vaporized, then I would believe you
