It's a pretty simple concept, easliy defeated in the pro's. That's why is never works(or rarely does) For  gimmick play it's fine, but you cant run an offense all day with it all day IMO. Much better to use play action in the pro ranks

It’s got to just be mixed in. Opposing teams clearly work out a plan on how to defend it the week we play them. Siri and Steichen both admitted they’ve never run it before.

Our team stinks but this seems like the strongest PS we’ve ever had.

Welp, it's not working

They aren't going to sit Wentz that early for a 1 round draft pick difference. They want him to get all the chemistry he possibly can especially with TY Hilton and new TE's(Tremble). It's not like that pick VANISHES,it simply goes from a 1 to a 2. Now if that pick vaporized, then I would believe you

GB.... week 13... it's not early.  TY Hilton isn't  coming back next year, they don't need chemistry from a couple extra games and then start the next season 9 months later.

6 more games left to see what happens.   Let's root for Tennessee to lose and Indy to win until it's a lock, then Indy  can start losing

Tremble ... the dude on the Panthers?

But let's say you have pick 12...  I have  pick 44.     ... I want pick 12 from you... what are you asking for back in a trade?

Whatever it is...  I will counter your offer by saying..  " come on its only one round difference, I'll give you pick 44 and my 7th rounder."

Surprising a person who does 12, 369 mock drafts doesn't see a huge difference in those picks?

Bingo.... so the conclusion should be that they are running this offense ( that they have NEVER run before)  because they feel it fits the players.     Wonder which position coaches try to run an offense for???   Hmmmm?   Not rocket science.

Linebacker? :D

Not alot of difference between pick 30 and pick 37 or whatever it is.It's either a 1 or a 2 not a 7th so forget that lame example

Obviously it's for the punter. We give him lots of practice with 3 and outs 🤣

That they never coached before

But yeah great idea, lets take 2 coaches who have never run this and make the 10 other guys on every snap do things they never did before because we have ONE GUY who can't do it like everyone else, has a weak arm and wants to know why all his pro teammates aren't running the Oklahoma offense. This is brilliant!!! What could possibly go wrong? OH yeah we';re seeing it lol

No isn’t a huge difference in what 9-10 spots but we are talks 31 spot difference for Indy that pretty big difference… Picking round 1 at 15 is way different then picking round 2 15

Well they knew that going in and were ok with it because they GOT their franchise QB,so I see no reason to panic over a draft pick. They can trade another player or other picks to move around if they are really SET on someone, but this class coming isn't worth that effort even. Compared to last draft most round 1 guys would have gone in 2,3 last year. With few exception, this is a BAD draft,so maybe they figured that into the trade deal??? Would not surprise me(knowing it was a lackluster class to choose from). So I don't feel they are fretting over it,nor planning for it.If they really ARE, they can tank the last 4 games,it's easy to do lol. Despite what Joe says drafting, scouting and mocking start the day after the SB and I'm sure they saw what I did,a very WEAK class. I guess we will see,but I can't see Wentz NOT playing. You know he wants to play all year. So we'll see who is right. They would have to be totally OUT of a wild card spot to even consider pulling Wentz. So Tenn with the division, but they would still have a WC shot,so until that goes away,I don;t see them taking Wentz out even if they can't win the division

I’d still like to see Minshew get a chance to run this offense this year to see the difference between what the units look like with him be Hurts

Me too. We will wait until it's TOO late to salvage the season(not that we HAD one but for pride lol),but I would like to see him if Hurts is struggling, which he seems to do every game

Again your stating what I said from the very beginning they would only pull Wentz if they can’t make the playoffs lmao

So what does week 12 have to do with it if they have a shot at a wild card? That's too early to know

If you go into week 12 with 2-3 wins are you making the playoffs???

Week 13 is probably the cut off for him not to play 75% of snaps which is the deciding factor on what pick they have…

If they are right in the Hunt 100000% think Wentz and Indy are going for it if they are 2-3 win team by that point they are going to keep the pick

I don't know of any team that pulls their starting QB that early. If they did, there would be tons of complaints to Goodell about tanking, on purpose(we know it happens but let;s not make to TOO obvious by starting 4 weeks early)

We should pull Hurts NOW, use the punter and ensure we have the #1 pick next draft

We have #2 already with Miami

If we tank really hard we can get that 1 pick

Lmao your the only one talking tanking Colts would just be getting Wentz not to play 75% of snaps they could easily say he is "hurt” wouldn’t be the first time teams lied about injuries

More importantly though want to see the difference in runs if we place Minshew in Siri as already stated a ton of the run-pass ratio can be dictated by Hurts with the RPOs he has the option to hand it off or keep it… I’d image we see Minshew hand it off more

Dude.... pay attention,  if the Colts are out of the playoff race....that is pick 10-15..... there is a HUGE difference between that and a pick in the 40s.

Correct .... why I have been negative on this whole thing since the jump.   But I want the front office to get the blame.  Every time I hear someone say " run the ball" or anything else..  to me it takes focus off of the idiots who failed to put anything around the former QB and decided that a guy like Hurts was the right pick.      So run the monkey mouse offense for the mickey mouse QB....that the mickey mouse front office wanted.    This is the reward they get for not giving the previous coach and QB anything to work with for 2 years.
