He has a weak arm. Just relying on timing throws off one read

Sounds like our second year man LOL,who obviously has learned ZIP in the time he has been here. Jones is a ROOKIE and he is getting better. Hurts is still a college QB and still playing like he is in Oklahoma

Yeah but you keep missing the obvious.  Hurts needs to fail a little more than the usual guy due to the locker room culture.     Mustache will get his shot next year for sure, maybe this year, but not time yet.

I know,I am impatient lol

Great job not backing up your claim of all these rookie QBs outproducing Hurts. You can think he stinks. I think our coach has really been stinking.

I'm surprised they are leaving Wentz in

I don't think you get the concept with Wentz and the snaps.  The only thing that matters is that their record is good enough to try to keep winning week 13.   Wentz not playing a few snaps tonight wouldn't matter.   The win was more important.  They need to win next week and split one of Buffalo and Tampa to stay in, that's all that matters for now.

Why can't it be both.   Like for me... I think both the former coach and QB were fine... both proved they could win when they had the players around them.   Front office messed up.    Right now, it could be very easily that both QB and coach are not good.   Coach can learn from experience,  QB will have a hard time throwing the ball further or with more zip.

That's not going to be a good trait for Eagles fans these next few years.

I never even claimed that. You did say that all these rookies are outproducing him though…..which none are.

More advanced offense he had in college….plus RB.

Idk... I assume the pool of players you are talking about is limited.   Have any other QBs from last year's draft, selected after Hurts played yet?

Who do we have this year, Lawrence and Jones?      Idk what the point of that question is though... I don't see Hurts having issues that experience will help... it's pretty much his limited arm.

The point being: bit17h about Hurts….what does that do? What was your alternative at QB? Sam Darnold, Tyrod Taylor or any of this draft class. Options weren’t good. I’ve been fine running with Hurts instead of all those bad options to overpay for.

Actually I do not think it matters either way Joe. Wentz will play no matter how many wins they have as long as he is healthy. We have already seen what happens if you bench him. I do not think Indy wants a relapse, so they will let him grow all season, even if they are out of the play-offs. They need Wentz to continue to improve for the following seasons. Benching him will not help. No, I think he plays no matter what, unless he gets injured.... We are worrying about nothing here.

Herbert everybody loves has thrown for 1994 yards passing 16 TDs and 6 interceptions with 63 percent completion rate

Why don't we all just wait and see what happens? This is week 9. After this week he will have made what? 13 starts? Give him at least until after this season to make any assessments as to whether or not he can do what we need him to.

Hurts 1819 passing yards 10 TDs and 4 interceptions with a 61 percent completion rate

Obviously Hurts also brings the huge element of his running ability also. But hmmmm looks very comparable to me.

Could say Hurts has been better than everybodies darling.

Well, he has averaged 284.86 yards  per game which is 6th in the NFL. Not great but much better than Hurts 227.38. Plus his competition has been better opponents record is 30-23 while the Eagles competition is 25-25.... Herbert is the real deal. He can make all of the throws and has been impressive for a 2nd year QB. He is not a mobile QB like Hurts, but I would not count that against him as most mobile QB's don't last long in the NFL unless they play smart and avoid contact like Wilson.

I always look at wins as an important stat for QB's. Not sure if everyone feels the same though. Herbert played in one of the toughest divisions last year and has compiled a 11-12 record to date. Not great, but OK for a 2nd year QB in that division. Hurts played in the weakest division and compiled a 4-8 record to date. Not good.

TBH If I were HR, I would try and trade for White with the Jets for a 4th round pick. From What I have seen, he seems to see the field great and knows where to throw the ball. He has shown more than any QB we have on our roster to date. Gives the Eagles 3 QB's to look at next year while we build up our roster with the draft.

Yes I understand and if they had a Huge lead, they would take him out, just for the injury risk(as we know). The Jets coming back strong made them keep Wentz in

LOL really, pulling out what little hair I I have will be the rule with Howie around

Some haven't even played yet(because you know some teams have GOOD QB's) After 4 games the rooks that ARE playing did better than Hurts first 4 games,go re check the stats bud.so on a game to game basis yes they are outproducing him

None are producing more than Hurts is. Failed point!

Are you serious what is Hurts producing that is so great lmao…Mac Jones has been easily better , Larewnce,Wilson, Mills are on way worse teams then Hurts, Lance in limited action has produced fine.

Your biased on hurts is unreal

RPO is RPO, you can only "advance" that so much and we're seeing what an "advanced" college offense looks like at the pro level(it stinks)

Good, because he stinks lol

Lmao worst base line stat ever take out ATL outlier and Hurts is completely like 57% of his passes 4 games under 60% this year.

Id also love to know how many of those stats came when we were down huge in the 4th qtr and D sat back on us…. Off the top of my head I can think of at least 2-3 garbage time TD throws great for the stat sheet though meaningless though

I've seen enough indecision, holding the ball for 5 seconds and noodle arm passes. Personally I don't need to see the rest of this disastrous season. There is no improvement. You are seeing the best Hurts has to offer and it's not enough

So pick those guys up instead of Hurts. Seems realistic.

Derek Carr could easily be dealt and Wilson is likely in the mix as well… sooo yes they are realistic options.

But not even the point they are guys that produced as later round picks…. You love to keep changing your narrative on hurts… on tell me rookie QBs that produced better then Hurts… ok Burrow and Herbert in his same class, Mac Jones has played better, Lance in limited action has looked better with way more promise, Lawrence on a way worst team.

Jalen Hurts has not been impressive at all this season just watching the games not sure how you don’t see it but hey he is great at padding stats
