Local media....salivating over that  " bullet " TD pass to Smith!    It was a nice pass,  idk about it being that level though.

Kid had a nice game,  again, he runs well, especially to his right. Struggles when he rolls left and has to throw.  I'm surprised after the Tampa game that teams don't force him left... it's night and day.

One reason the Eagles defense is in crisis: The defensive first-or-second-round picks in the last 9 drafts are Marcus Smith, Eric Rowe, Derek Barnett and Sidney Jones. Eagles haven’t drafted a defender in those rounds since 2017. A trickle-down effect from the WR draft do-overs.

But we won’t to trust Howie to use our picks…. To build this roster

I mean if we gave Rodgers full control of the offense he might consider it along with say on who we bring in for it

Yeah…aghhh….no he won’t

So how many elite QBs you have then?

To be honest I have none in this draft. Of course some could be and of course every QB comes with concerns but this lot have really big ones.

The question is; would a Corral be a major upgrade over Hurts day one? Willis definitely won’t be so you’re betting on upside with him like the Niners did with Lance.

Plus both teams picking in front of us (Lions & Texans) are in a way more dire situation at QB. One of them might even pull the trigger.

Corral would be an upgrade over Hurts I think. A major upgrade? Tough one that and that's probably why I wouldn't pull the trigger.

I'm talking about in the league...since Allen isn't one?

We got plenty of holes.... rookies do not " sure up " anything.  The draft picks are attempts to do so... far from sure thing.     We are not a good football team. We are not one good draft from then only being a QB away.

It's a process that is going to need to be done over time and correctly.   We are going to lose more pieces, the older pieces that are also going to need to be replaced.

Our DL... 2 years from now, do you see any guaranteed plus players ok this roster?    Sweat and some rookies will be under contract,  none to me are standouts.  We have holes... plenty.   You need to be more realistic of what it's going to take to be a good team.

I agree with you Joe. I think we need to invest our top picks in other positions. I would look elsewhere in the league for another QB to compete for a year or possibly two. Then we have Hurts, Minshew and one more to compete and maybe one will prove out. Hurts has shown possibilities but we need to see more. I still say offer a 4th rounder for White from the Jets. I would like to see more of him also. He seemed to see the field great and know where to go with the ball. If not him, maybe another is out there waiting to blossom. Better than waste one in next year's draft....

Would you trade White for a 4th if you were the Jets?

I have no clue, do you? OK we don't need to pursue it.... How do any of know what the Jets think....

If I'm the Eagles, I would inquire for sure, I agree with you.   If I'm the Jets,a 4th isn't good enough.  If I'm the Eagles, I'm not going higher.   You are correct, we don't know anything ... my educated guess is what I just said.

I'm ok with Hurts and Minshew for next year and using every resource in the draft at other positions.   I would prefer it.  If a 3rd QB comes along at rock bottom prices, then great.

What seem popular now is conditional picks. Like offering a 4th in 2022 plus a conditional 2023 pick based on playing time. This seems what most teams do to protect both.... I would go for something of this nature...

OK, so now we travel to Denver, who is playing solid right now. After that we play NO who always seems to have our number. IF we go 0-2 the next two weeks our play-off possibility goes out the window. 5 of the last 6 are against division. Right now I see us winning 3-4 more games leaving us with 6-7 wins for the year. Yes they can do better. They can also do worse. Just my take on it. Really no faith in our coaching staff TBH. Giants are playing much better and Dallas most likely will beat us to end the season. BTW, anyone else here think the Giants QB situation may be worse than ours?

I would say 0-2 would end the season. Gotta pick up one. That would keep the team in the hunt.

Got a great opportunity with Tyree Jackson maybe coming on. Stoll adding his role. Edwards and Davion Taylor growing. Maybe get Brooks and Sanders back for the stretch run. Gainwell will only get better and more versatile. Get a young DB or two step up here and really got something.

Well no surprise the Eagles lost again.

My day was brightened though by the way Denver spanked the Cowpies.

You have to take your little victories where you can.

Big yes on dullass.

I was happy they were competitive, showed some consistency and improvement 2 weeks in a row.

And how many times did the Browns invest in the wrong QB?  Build that team up. Long way to go.

Hard to know, they mis-invested at every position

We always say get CB's and LB's and we are always ignored

I have Armstrong or Ridder in round 2. The "top" QB changes every week, there is no clear cut #1 in my view. Still, doesn't mean you should ignore getting better at the position, even if it's an incremental improvement

Thought Corrall kind of just settled that in the head to head vs Willis.

Armstrong. Please get him in round 2. He can sit a year, but he will be better than Hurts. He has more tools and cannon arm. He can be the #3 next year, but he will work his way into being a starter if we give him a chance

I disagree about "shoring up". First, you need to pick the CORRECT draftees. next you need to be able to DEVELOP those draftees. if you do those 2 things(in that order) there is no reason you cannot "shore up" a position. I do however like your idea of going after the 2 BU's the jets have if we aren't taking a QB next draft. I felt both were/are better than Hurts and we really have no clue how Stache plays with THIS team

Josh Johnson played well, almost brought them back!!!! He is their 3# and he is better than Hurts

I had us winning 6 games. It's hard to judge the QB situation in NY(gnats). They are going through the same WR BS we did, everyone is out, guys that are not 100% are asked to play because they have noone and bark has been out for awhile. Their receivers are Engram and whichever WR they can pull the band aids off of on game day

I don't want to be in the hunt,I want the higher draft picks
