Thought Corrall kind of just settled that in the head to head vs Willis.

Armstrong being ignored. I hope that lasts until the draft. I'd snag him in round 2. Virginia doesn't get alot of TV exposure, but this guy is a DITR

He was a stud. He was a big time stud. I mean, I’ve got a lot of respect for [Chargers HC] Brandon Staley, they knew we were moving the ball really well on offense, and he didn’t leave anything — I’m pretty confident he didn’t leave anything on his call sheet. He started coming with different things, and I think they had a blitz-zero on that last play, Jalen ended up — we all saw that, ended up getting to a play, Jalen ended up doing great communication telling everybody what the play was, and then just fired a strike to DeVonta [Smith].

But, what I think was really, really impressive — obviously that throw was really unbelievable in the face of some pressure, the offensive line did a heck of a job just protecting against that blitz-zero, but that’s advanced football right there. To be able to see what was going on, and then to be able to get the communication at the line of scrimmage and talk and get everybody on the same page for a 28-yard score, I believe it was.

And then just a couple of the drives he made. He was just really unfazed by the scenario and he just showed a lot of poise. Down seven, everything in his eyes said put it on me and let’s go, let’s keep running the ball, let’s keep play-actioning it, let’s make sure we’re converting on third downs, and he made some unbelievable plays on third down. The play where he jumped over the top and did the flip, I think if we would’ve won that game, that would be a played they showed over in Philly for a long time. He was just really composed in a tight situation, and that’s what you want out of your quarterbacks.”

I don't want to be in the hunt,I want the higher draft picks

Still being in the hunt gives us a better evaluation of things. It’s hard to complain if this young team can finish the season strong.

Yep, said this after game 1 lol. STOP the RPO college BS. I think Siri is 'getting it" now

Guess we'll find out next week when we go up against a decent defense. The games we won were vs terrible defenses. In fact there is ZERO reason we should have lost THIS game. That is a fail IMO. At least we looked semi competent

Chargers run D is bad, their secondary was totally beat up and yet we FAILED to score 30 points, which is what this teams needs to do to win games

RPO-basically you FREEZE your O line. They count to 5 in their heads, then head downfield(because by now they know Hurts is taking off). Thats why you saw the "ineligible downfield" calls. Now Siri has figured out he needs to let the O line be the O line and open holes. This leads to play action, which is what I stated from the start. The ineligible calls are gone now because Siri is getting it. The offense the last 2 games has been better because Siri has taken the game control AWAY from Hurts

I don't want to be in the hunt,I want to see other guys play. If we know for a fact we are DONE this year, then maybe we can see what else we have. We SHOULD so we know what to draft next time

https://www.nflmockdraftdatabase.com/big-boards/2022/consensus-big-board-2022   This week they have us taking Olave. He has been my #1 WR for awhile(I picked Smith last year and JJ for us the year before that)). If we got him I would be fine, but really I would feel better overall if we took Metchie in round 2 and used our round 1's elsewhere

Round 1-  Evan Neal-ROT- Bama   DeMarvin Leal- DT-Texas A&M  Elam or Gardner-CB (FL/Cincy)  Round 2 is where I have "issues" lol. Depending on our direction we go we could do Metchie at WR or Nakobe Dean at LB-Georgia and grab Armstrong here in 2. Round 3 I like Brisker, the S from Penn and round 4- Ojabo, the DE from Michigan. Of course all these rankings will change

Broncos will be an interesting game for us they are a pretty stout D unit good vs the run…. Right now our strength is the ground game.

If we can not get the ground game going and have to rely on Hurts arm I don’t have a ton of faith for this game.

If you are playing a meaningful game week 15 with the season on the line…..big difference. That’s the best evaluation time.

I’m not intimidated by the Broncos. Have to get that!

Seems real easy to root for a guy like this. Showed he’s a gamer for sure also.

Bronco’s are the most intimidating test Hurts and this offense will have faced all season long. They are a healthy and very good defense.  Just put a beat down on the cowboys who’s offense is way more potent then our own.

Lmao these are the biased clips I can’t get enough of yet if this was Wentx fighting for a first you would say he needs to get down protect himself…. Why I can’t with you and your double standards

I have Armstrong or Ridder in round 2. The "top" QB changes every week, there is no clear cut #1 in my view. Still, doesn't mean you should ignore getting better at the position, even if it's an incremental improvement

For me the best QB is Corral and the longer the season goes on the more sure about that I am. But hey I could be wrong.

Kenny Pickett being slept on think he will come in as the most nfl ready highest floor… Corral could have a higher ceiling but lower floor as well.

Biggest knock on Pickett will likely be his age will be 24 by the time the 2022 season starts

You are probably right about Pickett. I think he's the safest option but that's why I think he's better suited to a team like say the Saints. They need a good QB but with that defense they don't necessarily need an elite one...

Is there any story about Fletcher Cox nearly being traded to the Steelers on trade deadline day?

I seem to think I heard something along those lines, and that it fell apart, late, and we eventually saw Cox tweeting, "Eagle Forever"...

Is this a thing, or was it all another made up rumour?

I think any QB is better suited to a team with a loaded roster would Corral be bette off with the Lions or the Saints???

Pickett has the arm to make throws at all levels, good accuracy, good mobility/pocket awareness. Doesn’t give the same wow plays guys like Corral or Willis(if we want nfl guy Mahomes/Jackson). But honestly I can live without those if we get that consistent Brady type guy game in game out

I’m sure Cox was being tossed around at the deadline likely didn’t get a return we liked though not sure what teams would have been involved though

OK, so now we travel to Denver, who is playing solid right now. After that we play NO who always seems to have our number. IF we go 0-2 the next two weeks our play-off possibility goes out the window. 5 of the last 6 are against division. Right now I see us winning 3-4 more games leaving us with 6-7 wins for the year. Yes they can do better. They can also do worse. Just my take on it. Really no faith in our coaching staff TBH. Giants are playing much better and Dallas most likely will beat us to end the season. BTW, anyone else here think the Giants QB situation may be worse than ours?

No shot...that guy has no help at all with players moving in and out similar to us last year.   If you want to trade a 4th for a NY QB... I'll take him.  He throws pillows.
