Smith was wide open. He did not see him because smith was not the primary WR, so he took off and ran. If you do not see the issue here than I give up. We had wide open receivers all day and should have blown out SD. Hurts does not see the field well. Yes, he noticed an obvious 0 blitz!  wow, that is encouraging that he saw the same thing 1 million viewers saw.....

I "liked" but wanted to laugh too(so I will HAHAHAHAHAHA 🤣)

If we like Pickett,I got him in round 2(of course that doesn't mean squat)

At this point,I would try to steal Armstrong,Pickett or Ridder in round 2 or 3. Just personal opinion. All have higher(much) ceilings than Hurts. I think with Hurts we are seeing "this is as good as it gets". So I would opt for the 4 mentioned here(Howell), but I would NOT reach or trade picks away for any of them I suspect we can get a round 1 QB pick in round 2 due to some of the other top athletes pushing them down in the draft order. We should be able to "steal" one at a good value. If there is one we just can't live without,I could see the last 1 pick for a QB

I just don't think any are the answer for this team and on that basis I wouldn't use any picks on them.

SO whatcha gonna do stand still??? Or do you want Hurts another 3 years?

For this year yes. If Hurts isn't the answer for a year then bring in a vet to hold the Fort or go with Minshew. Don't panic and force a pick.

How many pick are washes anyhow? We had a vet and we traded him. How do we know Minshew is any better? How often do we get 3 round 1 selections where we don;t have to give up an entire draft to move up for a QB? If we're going to add one, this is the draft to do it. If Hurts isn't the answer, why are you giving him another year? Makes no sense

So you're waiting until the 2023 draft, when the picks are gone to miraculously hire a "vet" QB(btw who it available in 2023??? I have no clue). IMO you are just wasting a year with this strategy while our WR's development suffers another year. Noone is forcing a pick, there will be QB's right there when we pick

That is the one thing I don’t worry about when it comes to our FO and QB… If we are really digging down to found the next QB I have full faith in them finding the guy whether it’s this draft or next draft.

Personally i think Pickett is a stud going to be a great QB at the next level so disagree with your take on him.

said Cutcliffe, who coached first-rounders Peyton and Eli Manning and more recently Daniel Jones. "I was blown away by how accurate he is. Oh my goodness, he puts it right where he wants it to be.

"He throws about as good a ball, as catchable a ball, as I've seen. The ball comes off his hand exceptionally well, and the other thing is he is much more athletic and faster than you think when you get on the field with him and he's playing. He can move."

Cutcliffe speaking at Kenny Pickett

"Yet, after getting fifth and sixth-round grades from evaluators, he decided he was better than that."   Difficult for me to see how one goes from a 5/6 to round 1 in a year. Of course hard to judge the covid year. Peyton was great, Eli and Jones were/are "adequate". I need more study time for him

DJax leaves the Rams because there aren’t enough balls. ODB leaves Browns because he doesn’t get enough balls. So he chooses the Rams?

Gotta love the irony. Both of them are prima donnas and I hope they both stay unemployed

DJax already got a job in Vegas. Obviously ODB got a new job in LA

I would pick up Josh Johnson off the Jets PS

I cannot stand those prima donna WRs. How many of them won a Super Bowl WHEN they were the guy? ZERO!

Most of them never sniffed a Super Bowl. OBJ is the biggest crybaby of them all. DJax is a ****…met him personally when he played for the Eagles the first time.

Ocho Stinko

Dez Bryant

Keyshawn throw me the ball Johnson

Randy Moss

Brandon Marshall

Terrell Owens

Antonio Brown was a VERY MINOR piece last year. He did NOT win one as THE GUY in Pittsburgh.

I'm missing a few, but the point is well described.

Just feel like as much as TO and Moss were divas they are also two of the greatest to ever do it… Honestly both guys should probably have won a ring TO might have had the most impressive performance by a WR ever in the SB and that’s with bolts in his leg just so he could play for us…. Randy what rookie year they get booted by there kicker missing a FG when the guy had made what 40+ straight then of course the perfect season spygate year with time.

Keshawn won the SB the year the Bucs finally beat us

SO, Howie gets to scout 2 QB's at one game tomorrow. I'm sure he won't be alone
