I don't want to embrace mediocre, that's the difference between us

Key words "right moves"

Key words "right moves". If we had Wentz we'd already be there because we have nearly the team we started to build for him. Of course we would also need a competent FO which we lack

How bad would Hurts look if he played behind the disaster that was last years O line?

At least he's had a fairly consistant line this year.

This team could and should be a playoff team next year and truly competing by 2023.

We have a strong OL with young guys Mailata/Dillard are 23-24, Dickerson is coming along nicely. Kielce and Lane are the old heads and they are what 31-32.

WRs can say we might need one more but Smith is a really good WR and a rookie quez has flashed and Geodart is still underrated even by our own fans which is sad.

Have a good ground game also when we use it and that partly thanks to the OL being good need more consistent and better QB play.

Defense is what really needs work every position if we stick with Gannon think LB has to become a high priority for his defense.

Watching the Penn game, the guy I had picked looks great. He would be a draft day target for me Brisker-safety for Penn

He played the last 4 games with that ;line,an he looks no better than he did then

Yeah agree, gotta key in on defense. I still like Neal(ROT) as our first pick to replace Lane. Getting another WR would be nice. I wouldn't reach for one,but I feel getting a QB trumps getting a WR. I would be fine picking up Metchie in round 2. I seriously like my S pick Brisker. The way he is playing today I suspect he moves up the board

Packers DB coach Jerry Gray on CB Rasul Douglas, who has played quite well the last couple games:

"He’s in here at 7:30 at night still watching film, where guys are gone, and obviously he must be a single guy.”

My QB(Armstrong) plays at 730,should tell me alot vs a ranked team ND vs Virginia

Pickett came out strong heard he had a real nasty Int late on a weird play but didn’t see it… Pretty sure Howell had a good 2nd half since NC came back and took the game to OT.

Great news, maybe one or 2 QB's will emerge from this mess. OSU on now. Nice WR's and some linemen to watch

Baloney, get a competent, capable QB/score 30+ points a game and watch what happens and I'm sure we add some  STARTERS in this next draft(and fill in some depth blanks) so I respectfully disagree, that with the correct QB in place and some key pieces on defense that we could go toe to toe with anyone

You mean without Brooks? Or Lane missing time?Seumalo missing the whole season?

And that is still nothing compared to last seasons OL injuries.

OL has been way more consistent this year and overall the unit has played well.

Wow this Virginia team is AWFUL LOL the ND defense is in the back field before Armstrong gets the ball. They would have a better O line if they got people from the parking lot 😂

So, Virginia pulled Armstrong. That tells me they have no faith in him, so I can't either. I will remove him from my QB list.I can admit when I'm wrong, but he looked good before tonight

Virginia Cavaliers quarterback Brennan Armstrong (ribs) will not play in UVA's game against Notre Dame on Saturday night at Scott Stadium. Armstrong was not among Virginia's quarterbacks warming up in full pads about half an hour before the beginning of the game. When Virginia introduced its starting lineup, Jay Woolfolk was listed as the starting quarterback.     Oh well I wasn't paying attention(just watching from 30 feet away) and he never started lol. So now I know less than before, so he is still on my list, but I was looking forward to seeing him in this game

Compared to last year this O line has been healthier

Driscoll was hurt also. Started the year on IR.

You kind of hinted at the answer here. If the defense gets stops sometimes then the offense gets the ball back. Our offense would produce much more of the defense wasn’t so dreadful.

Mailata got injured. Been battling through that on his return also.

Dickerson has been terrible pass blocking. Driscoll has been through some humiliating pass blocking attempts himself. Get those guys run blocking though and they look good. Mailata and Lane also. Not been Lane’s best season. Kelce probably having one of his weakest seasons as well. Can’t really say the Oline has been great so far…..or healthy.

yes I posted that

Our 3 and outs have little to do with that too I'm sure 🙄

Everyone looks like crap pass blocking when your QB holds the ball 6 seconds
