OG Sua Opeta is signing to the Eagles PS, per source.

Wide receiver Deontay Burnett is indeed signing to the Eagles' practice squad, per source.

This is a little surprising. Despite high praise from Doug Pederson, I'm told UDFA DB Michael Jacquet isn't returning to the Eagles on their practice squad.

I am somewhat shocked by that as well. He was super raw but had a lot of athleticism. Seemed like a perfect PS lottery ticket.

We often talk about pipelines. As DB's have been a weakness, I'd like to see some in development. Expecting more for OL as well.

Jason Huntley: 5-9, 193 lbs., 4.37 40

Donnel Pumphrey: 5-9, 176 lbs., 4.48 40

I agree with this, especially since I think Ford and Singleton were never going to get claimed.

I don't know if Togiai is going to be any good, but he seemed to be the kind of kid you hang on to.

Another one who had promise, for awhile

Thats 4 Eagles to my neck of the woods. Are they following me?

??????????????????????????????????

Roster Move: #Eagles have released CB Cre’Von LeBlanc.

Wow released Leblanc makes no sense when we have 6 safeties

This splains it, taking a risk tho;

LeBlanc is not subject to waivers so it's possible the Eagles can simply re-sign him tomorrow once IR spots are opened up.

I sure wouldn't have done it this early in the day tho if we want to hang on to him

Man, they must love Rudy Ford for some reason.

It will be interesting to see if LeBlanc gets claimed. Definitely a solid slot CB. I could see Carolina grabbing him too, given that their secondary is terrible. I think Douglas starts there and, if they grabbed LeBlanc, he would start as well.

The Eagles have released Cre'Von LeBlanc. They needed that roster spot for their new RB, but now they're down to just four cornerbacks.

57s
Doesn't quite splain it all tho as we can protect 4 PS

Apparently LeBlanc isn't subject to waivers, but he can be signed by anyone. So the risk is a lot less. My guess is that they have an agreement that he will sign tomorrow once Parks goes to IR.

It will be interesting to follow Miller in Carolina, because it looks like he will get a legit shot to be the fourth DE. They don't have much behind the top three guys, so he should compete for snaps.

The team had to decide who will be better in the long run, Toohill or Miller, and went with Toohill. This will be a referendum on how well they do at scouting talent.

We already saw them make a bad mistake last year with LJ Fort. Hopefully this will not be another one.

With Swest and Burnett and the fact that Toohill likely won’t see the field much if at all as a rookie vs Miller who seems like he has a chance at some snaps doesn’t seem like a fair comparison....I’m looking at Miller vs Sweat if anything both likely backup DEs that will rotate in this year

Gotta stop the lies and misinformation being spread. Gotta call out the hate spewing Divison being perpetuated. STOP. Our veterans gave their lives for our Democracy . Call it out.

Really was an odd offseason for the team I mean Miller was supposed alright in camp but Toohill was really thriving....

Feel bad since some guys are just better game day players then practice guys(not saying Thai pertains to Miller)and with no games in preseason no clue what could have changed.

Why's my name on that?

A lot depends on how healthy we are, but I think Toohill will get some snaps this year, especially with Barnett being hurt. At some point if you think a young kid has talent, you have to put him out there to see what he can do.

You make a good point about Sweat. I didn't think there was a huge gap between him and Miller when they both played in the preseason last year, so I would expect Miller to have similar success if he gets a chance in Carolina. Sweat played 35 percent of the team's snaps last year, with 4 sacks and 21 tackles. It will be interesting to see if Miller can match that. I don't think it is unreasonable for him to get that many snaps.

Indy cut OT Chaz Green has some starting experience and has been a swing T backup

I think he was the guy who singlehandedly destroyed the cowboys season a few years ago with a truly terrible game against Atlanta at LT. Can't be sure, but I think that was him.

Yup, found the story.

Mmmmm Haven’t heard any word that Barnett will miss game 1 or Curry for that matter then we still have Graham and Sweat(who should be the 3rd DE this year). Not saying he won’t get some snaps but not sure he will get enough to compare him to another player who might see significantly more

No much is known about injuries, but Barnett hasn't practiced at all and Curry has been out since Aug. 25. So even if they make it back for game 1, they will probably be limited. And the team has tried to limit Sweat's snaps due to his knee issues. So I would expect Toohill or Ostman, if he is added to the roster, to get snaps week 1.
