Mahomes is doing better, they were trying to force the big play earlier in a lot of games.   He seems better just taking what the D gives... but he is a phenomenal passer, that can run a little.  Doesn't need to have a ton of rushing attempts

Yep D's also forcing him to pass, and he is adjusting pretty well and he HAS the arm

That's the type I want here, run as a last resort. Be effective doing it,but after all your reads are gone. Maybe the occasional call your own number, but not like trying to do it all yourself(that sounds like Wentz LOL)

I need to watch Pickett more. I see more RPO QB's that will proabaly go high. Let them take them. I also like Ridder and the QB from Coastal Carolina. I REALLY like Young and Stroud in the '23 draft, so those would be my targets in '23,but I still feel we could find a better QB than Hurts. We are all at the mercy of whatever Howie wants to do

Need the help though.   This year seems like a step in the right direction.. OL has been healthy compared to the last few years. Using only 1st and 2nd stringers.    The depth at RB, adding better blocking TEs and an actual competent WR has helped.

People don't want to admit how stability and talent around him actually help a QB.   Really have never seen anything worse than last year...but it was all QBs fault 😆

I don't care about the " it's not Hurts fault " people at this point.   I will counter with what I've been saying...he is a great runner that can't throw at the NFL level.  Idk... maybe another crap showing from Baltimore in the playoffs is what is needed??   Somehow it will register soon enough with people that you don't win with the gimmick offense.   To his credit, I give Kyler Murray some praise, he wants to be seen as a great passer and if he contributed at all to them getting the new receiving talent, then kudos to him...that's how you win in this league.

Don’t win? Hurts put several TD passes on the money. They catch it….we win. Just that simple.

This Oline is accelling in run blocking. Just doing really well at mauling. Also traveling to the second level and being very effective.

Hurts should have never gotten us into that clutch position to begin with, we should have won this game by 15 points at least. No excuses

yeah, why I tend to want one of the OSU WR's. Although most say it's not a real need, Reagor needs to ride pine or rotate with Quez. Hurts would be outstanding on ST's as a returner. Reagor didn't seem overly bothered by his failures and THAT just decided things for me. His attitude STINKS along with his play

But Seumalo and Brooks out. Driscoll started on IR. Mailata had injury. Dillard. Herbig subbing in all over. Lane out after not performing well….with his ‘mental issues.’ Opeta out.

Can we afford mental issues at ROT? Evan Neal is a terrific ROT draft pick. If Lane is going to be a weekly ? with mental issues,we need him gone We cannot afford this indecision

Like Wentz with Hightower last year and others a few times.. except... 7 points for the entire game with Hurts ... 28 and 29 was not good enough vs Baltimore and Pitts last year.

Your bar is low for Hurts. They win if he doesn't turn it over in the red zone.  Brutal plays for an NFL QB.

It's the limbo,he keeps getting under the bar as Ham lowers it 🤣

Do I need to compare to last year or can I assume you are smart enough not to go there... btw, I spit out my drink reading " Opeta out"  😆 that's a game changer for sure...lol

Wentz had the same opportunity this week. His throw was short. Hurts had two on the money at the end with everything on the line. Not always going to be fantastic. But you can’t coach clutch. Hurts is showing that aspect.

You just figuring that out now? Like a year later?

LOL no. Just bigger trouble if they play Hurts on a bum ankle.

WHO the hell got us into the clutch situation? It wasn't the punter. Hurts is showing me he loses games early with garbage play, then it's "hero ball". I want consistency not a wing and a prayer. We should have won this game by 15 points or more. 3 picks won't get that done

How many points did they put up against a decent defense? You can always pick out a bad play or 2 any week, but we don't score 31-34 points a game. If hurts did that consistently(without the defense bailing him out) and we simply got beat by a better team I would say nothing, but we all know that is not the case. We had/have the #1 EASIEST schedule IN THE LEAGUE bar NONE. We are barely competing with the bottom dwellers

Wentz played with 2 bum ankles.Hurts needs to play, let's see his toughness. That's an intangible I can get behind. I would like to see stache play  a 1/4 sometime. I'm sure the staff knows what he can do, just from a fan perspective I'd like to see him work. Of course they are avoiding this because if he shines we have a QB controversy again LOL. Is stache the guy? Probably not, but he could be a better option next year while we gear up/rebuild this team. Gave Hurts enough time,I see nothing that makes me want him as my QB. No growth, Tasom Hill 2.0

His team put up 31 points and lost to a team that put up 38... Hurts led his team to a whopping 7 points.    The bar is set low.  It's ok... it won't be for long.

Game on the line….Mr Huge Arm…..throw couldn’t get there. Hurts with his tiny little arm. Puts two on the money in the clutch.

59 minutes... Hurts leads team to 7 points .... while the running game carried the offense...   Indy 24 points at half with the RB having only 25 yards.   Swap opponents an it's not close.    On Sunday... swap OLs and it's not close.    Swap Jones for Hurts, and it's not close.     page 1289

Herbig comes in gets called for holding negates a 20 something yard Hurts run. Same drive Herbig hold negates Scott 20 something yard TD.
