Game on the line….Mr Huge Arm…..throw couldn’t get there. Hurts with his tiny little arm. Puts two on the money in the clutch.

After leading us with crap play into the situation that required the clutch lol. against a trash defense

LSU hiring the HC from Notre Dame

But Ham, I am starting to agree with your point made long ago. I am now losing faith In Siri, which means I don't trust this FO to make decisions much. Choosing bad coaches, drafting the wrong players. Siri, like Hurts has shown no growth. Just out there winging it every weekend. That's not a strategy. Sometimes we get lucky. Even bad teams get lucky. The whole team looked like Pee Wees. Just awful, but hey I'm thrilled they "like" each other. They can hang out in the unemployment line together

I disagree. Think Hurts, Siri and Gannon have shown growth. Think that they are challenged again with how the Gmen played them. They will have to adapt again.

Don't see it. it's haphazard. No clue which team will show up on any given week. Not consistent, all over the map. No balance on offense. Defense either plays well or gets smoked by lesser opponents. You must see something I don't

Defense just keeps letting teams hold the ball with long drives. Can’t really get off the field.

Spencer Rattler enters transfer portal. So….probably not such a high pick after all.

The team is not good. Hurts is a perennial backup, and will be a good backup. Lose out and move forward. They wont beat the cowpies. They certainly wont sweep the Redskins. And it appears they cant beat the Giants. So 7 wins does what for you? This season sucks and I knew it would. Discouraged, but HOPEFUL!

And he is an immature deuche. No thanks. Just saying.

Hurts has rushed for 967 yards in 16 career starts, second-most ever by a quarterback in his first 16 starts. Lamar Jackson rushed for 1,258.

Cunningham, I know you are a BIG Hurts fan. Do you think he will be a better QB than Vick? If so, why? If not, why? Based on the stat you just mentioned, can a Hurts led offense win big in the playoffs with an average defense? NOT talking about this year as playoffs WON’T happen. If he is still the QB next year and the TEAM improves talent everywhere, can THAT hypothetical Hurts’ led team go deep in playoffs and potentially win it all?

Not a trick question. Dilfer won a SB, but his defense was STELLAR. In recent years, a passing QB has been a necessity. Unless there is a significant change in the league, I just don’t see it happening for a running QB. I’m interested in learning your thought process on this.

Herbig comes in gets called for holding negates a 20 something yard Hurts run. Same drive Herbig hold negates Scott 20 something yard TD.

Just pass the ball... makes up for it.  The world has changed as the bar has gotten low.   Gotta score at least 8 points to win most NFL games

He is a phenomenal runner...just like the other guy mentioned.   My focus is on that style being able to win something in the playoffs.   The NFL playoffs I mean, not the BCS.

Just curious of this question as to what you mean by " recent " years?   When did a running QB ever win anything in this league?   I'm talking about where the QB's best aspect by ar is his running,  where the QB has 18 rushes in a game.    Doesn't have to average 18 rushes, but has there ever been a SB winner or any team with playoff success where a QB ran it 18 times in ANY game?      I only go back to the 70s with Dallas and Pittsburgh dominating,  so I don't ever remember any team having success with that style?    Maybe some of the older fans on here can remember NFL teams winning with running QBs?

Yep, he's a RB who can pass a little.I keep saying it, yet you refuse to believe lol. Now find me a QB and we'll be good going forward. Hurts would be great as a ST return man or as a BU RB

I called for 6 wins, we'll slop one more out,so I was on target. Heinke looked good, the Wuss have a playoff shot now. I hope Lurie is totally embarrassed by what he let Howie produce with his blessing

I’ve been thinking about something Joe Banner tweeted the other day: Something to the effect of "No team has ever won a Super Bowl with a quarterback who’s a better runner than passer.” That is true. I still believe Jalen Hurts can be a winning quarterback in the NFL, and I don’t think all the Eagles’ issues Sunday were his fault. Clearly they weren’t. But there are five games left this year and I really need to see growth in the passing game from Hurts. He can’t go out there and just put the ball up for grabs. He can’t take off and run when there are open receivers. He can’t throw behind guys. Maybe this is just a blip, but these next five games are critical for Hurts to show he can be a big-time passer in the NFL.

another telling statement made was by a giants DB that stated they wanted Hurts to beat them with his arm.
"He’s very talented, but we wanted him to beat us throwing,” Giants defensive back Julian Love said of Hurts.”

Giants put a blueprint out to stop us I image teams will follow it now…. Problem is what happens when we run into a team that actually has to talent to capitalize we stayed in that game because of how terrible the giants offense was. Any half decent nfl team we losing by 20+

How many targets dod Goedert and Smith get in the last 2 drives?

Hint: It was less than 1

Pretty sure Geodart had a target on the final drive was knocked down…. Heard Smith was open and was even calling for the ball he wanted it just didn’t go his way

Game total Goedert- 3 targets,1 reception,0 yards. This is great utilization of one of your better players (NOT). They had 18 guys on defense every play, it's just the refs failed to flag them, only explanation
