Well Joe, I need to see the game again. From what I remember, he did not look off his first read almost every throw. The only times he did was when he rolled out. Not sure how many that translated to though.

If you are being pursued, that is not a read, that is panic to find ANYONE open lol

Some huge lessons the giants seems to have figured out. Now….these young guys need to adapt and overcome. What specifics did you notice on players? Seems like they got physical with Watkins. He’s fast but easily forced off his route. Surprised we didn’t motion him more.

Said the offense will be what we run so not much will change look wise the difference would be Minshews decisions if he played he clearly isn’t the runner Hurts is so I’d image we would see more passes out of the rpo.

Makes me think of something reminiscent of Foles running the RPO

OH we got away from the RPO.......for the better teams we played and we played well and even won 2 games when Siri had to actually use his brain. Now back to college dorm ball. I assume we went back to the RPO for the gnats game as well???? I'm fine running PLAY ACTION,that' a great part of the game to have because it means you have ESTABLISHED your running game ,but we will fail if we continue this college prep  "hero ball" ,page 1289 offense

Sometimes he’s sees something, like man coverage with the DBs backs will be turned and decides he’s got a clear opening to run

If you are an NFL QB,you need to "see" this BEFORE you snap the ball?????? How can you be effective if you don't know what the coverages are? maybe that's his other issue, failure to read defenses

See…you are stuck on one guy. It’s not. All of them need the same read. WR/TE adjust along with the QB.

On permanent record here .... as being " called"

Actually he called me out cause I said it LOL. Mac needs to read page 1289,because until he does he sucks. Pats have won what 4 in a row now? Good test next game,Pats/Bills and I will "call" in advance that win or lose Jones looks good(and he is a flat out rookie)

But yeah….that’s what I said. Hurts sees certain things like Man coverage and knows he can make the quick decision to run and pick up an easy chunk for the O.

I'm stuck on the guy that supposed to lead my team to victory. let me know when you find him

Wow…a flat out first round rookie. He has the right coach. Got him throwing timing pass underneath stuff well. But he is a first round pick. Don’t think he’s doing much to surprise or really overachieve much here. Not real athletic. Not a big arm. But…..you can win with a QB like that. Just best not to put too much weight on his shoulders.

It’s such a collaborative effort. We need Siri, Steichen, Hurts and pass catchers to adapt and be on the same page. I always assume at the NFL level everything is a check. If the defender plays it like this….we’ll do that. If the defense is a heavy blitz read then break off like this. Got a great chance to get Hurts, Goedert, Smith.and others on some next level chemistry and communication. Gotta get it there. How does this route fair in this defensive scheme? Like a Cover two zone situation. That’s up to the coach. Get across his intentions in all situations. Gotta run the picks and crossers correctly. That’s just how far back we are starting with these guys unfortunately. This is all fixable at least.

Hurts is 2 years in. Only guy he should need chemistry with is Smith, he should already have it with everyone else and actually Smith is doing fine, chemistry or not. At some point you will see Hurts is the problem. I guess we will have to wait for that day

Accuracy Benjamin, accuracy. Multiple reads fast, quick decisions and accurate passes. Hurts should take lessons from this guy

Wow a second year QB that we knew needed some development is taking time to improve. Not a finished product already. Shocker! Brings a ton to the table already though. I don’t think our issues are Hurts related so much. Think it’s a coaching and skill players mix of creating this offense. It’s all a work in progress. Think the Giants showed and exposed some things about the scheme and players.

Yep, good stuff. Figured we would feature an O with much of this. Hurts had a bunch more on his shoulders so far though. Been carrying 80 percent of the offense too much. They are figuring things out….but so are DCs. Gotta get over this big hump here.

Feel like we can point fingers at pretty much everybody for this loss.

LOL we do that every week. Someone needs to step up and grab the bull by the BALLS. Our FO is for some inane, stupid reason, enamored with the college offense and they are ramming that every week. it's pathetic to see grown men stooping to Senior year HS ball. They think we should be the next Alabama. Even the players drafted from Alabama have grown up into NFL players. Except of course our FO and Hurts. They have been trying this college gig ever since Chip. it worked with Ped because we had grown man Frank Reich(the adult in the room)

He';s not improving that has been my point all along

Yep run first, and I will repeat for the 100th time Hurts is a RB who can throw a little. That's what the RPO offense IS!!!!

Team game. These are always all factors. Defense didn’t play that well in my opinion though. Let them hold on to the ball so much.

264 yards....13 points.... three 3 and outs on the last 4 drives.... D played more then well enough for about 29-30 other NFL teams to win.

LMFAO NO NO the running game is carrying the O, or the defense saves him. You can't suck for 57 minutes and make it up in the last 3,not going to work

What was the issue last year though.... seemed like it was one guy?   Should be same standards for everyone.

I don't want the RPO offense, I want the PRO offense(which is pass first-see what I did there???)

We got rid of Wentz for the same reasons Hurts sucks, except we had a majorly more SUCK team last year. But Wentz is a bum and Hurts is our savior

Actually he could have. We catch the TDs at the end snd we win. So that would have worked.

https://thedraftnetwork.com/player/daxton-hill/ckDhWZwKI1  If this guys declares I'd love to have him. 4.3 40. Would be a great safety/CB

Why would there be the same standards for everybody? I don’t expect Milton to perform like Fletch.

Pathetic to even be in that position against one of the worst defenses. We should have hit the 4th 1/4 with a 17 point lead. I thought I was embarrassed before, but this week was a new low. How long will Lurie continue to be embarrassed?

So Hurts is holding the ball forever getting sacked endlessly? Picking and choosing his receiving targets(favorite players)doing it
