Djax, Ward, Hightower start at WR?

I think they will go with JJAW (x), DJax (z) and Ward (y) in three wr sets, and in 12 personnel use DJax at one spot with JJAW and Ward splitting time in the other spot. I would expect Hightower to sub in for DJax for 10 plays or so. If they call up Burnett, I would think he would get some snaps as well, maybe about the same as Hightower.

Cindy Jones remains unclaimed... Shocker.

Not anymore. Signed with the Jags practice squad. Yeah I'm a little surprised too.

If healthy (and that's a big if) he will be starting there pretty quickly.

And the other.

My guess is that one spot goes to LeBlanc and the other to Cordy Glenn (if he's signed) or Burnett, since the team is thin at WR. Burnett could also get called up on gameday, which they will probably need to do with Jeffery and Reagor also unlikely to play.

Don’t think we sign Burnett to active roster definitely see him getting a call up though...Believe Leblanc will definitely be resigned... I am and am not shocked at the same time by putting Watkins on IR I figured we wouldn’t keep 7 spots for WRs

Agree with the 3 starters but believe Hightower will have a bigger role week 1 then 10 snaps.

What are we saying is wrong with Quez that we put him on IR????

My guess unless there is injury or Alshon is moved he will remain on IR

Yup, I don't see him coming off IR for the first half of the season at least. The injury isn't serious but right now they need the roster spots.

2nd practice draft lol

I have two drafts tomorrow... One is my keeper league we are resetting(goal is youth want a good team for awhile) and other just a standard league

Didn't know this about the 4 "protected" PS players;

four players can be protected at 4 PM Eastern on Tuesday through the end of your game that weekend. That keeps 57 players at minimum for you to work with between your 53-man roster and four-man protected practice squad. Once the game is over, those four protected players are unprotected until Tuesday.

So they're only "protected" during that period, poachable otherwise.

Game 1 shouldn't be a problem, then we have the Rams which WILL be a problem.I hope our WR's are ready

Wouldn’t sleep on the skins D with Ron as the HC good pass rush too be a good test for our makeshift OL which to me is the way bigger concern then our WRs

Exactly,if the WR's can't pull the D out they will be teeing off all day loading the box to stop the run,so that should be the primary concern

I'm not surprised... That's a train wreck of an organisation. They are a perfect match.

Kerrigan and Co can really mess up our day, our OL is a concern

We have a heck of a practice squad.

Mmmmm no not even close in my eyes but again we have a healthy Djax and Ward both guys I expected to be starters.... Felt JJaw was going to start the year as well honestly...Only thing I see as different is that JJaw and Reagor would split more reps which clearly not going to be the case for game 1.

Our OL is way more of a concern no LT still maybe we get Glenn who hasn’t practice at all for us, JP is at a new position, Lane has been out.... So the OL won’t have a ton of time working together....

The Glenn situation is interesting. I expected him to work out yesterday (Howie said Saturday it is a three day process, and today is day four) and the signing be announced today so he could start to participate in meetings, etc.

But now I would guess we have passed the fail-safe point where he could play Sunday, so the line will likely include Pryor at a position yet to be determined.

I am not as worried as some as Washington doesn't have a great back seven, so we should be able to move the ball and put up some points. We have the personnel to get the ball out quickly to guys like Ward, Ertz, Goedert, JJAW and the RBs, and DJax being on the field will keep the defense honest. Ideally we build an early lead and then settle into a steady diet of runs and short passes.

Agreed can't remember us keeping 7 WR...ever . Watkins was identified as needing more work than say Hightower makes sense to stash him on IR.

Howie has come out strong on Alshon being an Eagle and even discussed how his conditioning was outstanding this offseason. Of course this is Howie and he could be setting up a Mid season trade with Alshon. Things have really changed when it comes to Transparency Hehehehhaha with our Birds lately LOL.

Washington's DLine is Big, Powerful and fast. I DON'T WANT CARSON killed either. We learned allot last year from our NO Name WR that the young guys have to get on the field. This is year 3 for Mialata and Pryor... Monstrous men both 06'07" /06'08" over 350 pounds. And very athletic. Last yr Greg Ward ascension proved how important it is to gave the young players a chance to get on the field. We have 4 QB's now on the roster. Maybe Kelce gives us 2 more years and JP and Lane continue to play at a high level if these young guys still can't be trusted to protect  Wentz maybe we need to look elsewhere.

This is good news.

It would be nice to get him back for week 2.

He might be limited for game 2 not sure he would get a full workload thinking game 3 is when we will really get a chance to look at him

Who will be Eagles left tackle this week? Most important thing this year is Carson Wentz staying healthy

isn’t this the most important thing every year??? And if not for a dirty hit to the head in the playoffs he was healthy all last season.

Still baffling that Wentz threw for 4000 yards last year most ever by an Eagle and first player to ever do it without a 500 yard WR at the same time.

Idk still a ton of report talking we are trying to move Alshon still and I tend to believe where there is smoke there is a fire somewhere....As for Howie really nothing else he can say he is trying to trade the guy if he comes out and tells teams yes we don’t want him he loses value for him.
