Both DCs were playing way too passive to start the game. Both facing kind of new QBs.  So….it wasn’t even just our QB. But Wilson was 12 of 14 even. Then things tightened up plenty from there.

Stout went to the hospital before the game for evaluations. Still made it to the game.

We’ve rushed for over 175 yards in six straight games

Minshew finished 20-for-25 for 242 yards, two touchdowns, no INTs and a 133.7 passer rating – highest by an Eagles QB since his former Jaguars teammate Nick Foles had a 141.4 against the Vikings in 2018 and highest by an Eagles QB on the road since Foles’ 149.3 in Green Bay in 2013.

And it was his first game as an Eagle after 3 whole days of reps with the 1's

Opened up the running game…for the top rushing team? Aghhh…ok

https://www.footballdb.com/stats/teamstat.html?group=O&cat=R because we have played 1/2 more games than other teams?????(Don't let stats throw you off) And many of THOSE yards are from Hurts, because he can't find an open guy anywhere

Rushing yards per game. Says it right there.

Beginning of the season I kept saying we should be a top rushing team(too laughs by some on here)Kept ignoring it so much yet….we still managed to be the top rushing team. Shows just how dominant we are in this area.

Yes, because we played 2 more games than others and 1 more game than most others and like I said alot of those yards are Hurts running because he;s not literate enough to find an open receiver

How many yards are by running backs?(until today it was pretty SAD)

I suspect other teams will catch up to us when were are on our bye????

Hightower is absolutely more reliable. And I'm not even saying he's reliable. Reagor is a bum end of. He sucks, like really sucks.

No. No. And no! Look, living in Boise I’d love to see Hightower be successful at this level for the Eagles. But I’ve seen a LOT of Hightower. He is a one trick pony who outran guys from San Jose St and Wyoming and Air Force. He cannot outrun ANY NFL CBs. He doesn’t make many contested catches. He doesn’t understand that he has to work his way back to the QB HARD in the NFL….see the interception last year in game 1 vs the Redskins. Hightower is NOT better than Reagor.
Remember Agholor his first two years? I was SO sick of his drops. It was mind boggling how many drops he had. Yet, he finally got out of his own head and REALLY helped the team WIN in the playoffs AND the Super Bowl. The kid MUST improve. NOW, he needs to get out of his own way and go play football.

Minshew was the definition of noodle arming it today. Both his TDs to Goedert were dying quails. The Watkins catch…he was so open broken coverage by the Jets ….but had to run back ten yards for that dying turkey. Glad we got the victory.

Yet Hurts makes those same exact throws and you praise him lmao damn your double standards are insane

Whoa. Whoa. Whoa. Brooks is an absolute stud!

You have been shredding Hurts for much less. Minshew came in and played Captain Checkdown to beat the Jets….great. It worked. But he was just dinking and ducking. Three down the field throws he made. Goedert and Watkins came back hard for because those passes had lost all steam or forward momentum. Luckily they were just that open also because the Jets were blowing coverages everywhere.

Big thing with Minshew is the balance 243 passing 150ish rushing…  If Minshew can do it with the same skill players Hurts has… No excuses left for Hurts laying eggs passing anymore.

And ham loves pointing out that Minshew doesn’t have a cannon just like Hurts so step up your game Hurts

Minshew avg. 12 yards a throw…. Hurts has been hitting those same underthrows that  Minshew throws and you praise him.

Play like every week you’re playing the Jets….oh wait then we’d be undefeated lifetime. Have to figure out another way. Moving forward.

We played equally terrible Lions and Giants and Hurts combined in those games passing 232 yards 0 tds 3 ints…. JUST another pathetic excuse for Hurts

Cunningham, its a good thing you are here AND not a softie. You can take it and keep on posting. Love your conviction, even though I don’t agree. It even gives me a good weekend laugh sometimes. Keep it up! Respect!

He did a great job throwing several of those passes to Goedert or the RBs at the line of scrimmage. Then they made a guy miss and got some YAC. This is all I’ve been saying. Don’t need a QB to make every play. Just distribute to the playmakers. Didn’t commit so many penalties today and were efficient. Ran the ball. Controlled the clock. That’s winning football for us.

Or finish strong on our playoff push.

And you can’t rely on just the YAC plays QBs have to make big throws nobody is expecting the QB to make every throw but he can’t solely rely on the playmakers to do everything either.

I hear QB controversy in Philly. I personally don’t think much of either but it was nice to see some QB play a decent passing game and not a one read and run RPO whatever. Minshew/Hurts. Team is still below average. On a positive note, they have two more wins already than i predicted for the season! I think they beat the Giants and lose all the rest.

Maybe if this was still the early 90s…. Teams don’t win in this league playing that way if that was the case the Ravens and Titans would be steamrolling the league yet they don’t make it far come playoff time
