BTW those "dying quails" got us 21 points. I'll take it

IDK this sounds too logical... doesn't fit in the Pythagorean theory of football, which is a Ham rule... things can't be simple... need a complicated explanation for everything.

Wrong*2 + Wrong*2 < Cunninghamtheman’s  wisdoms

Usually I find you play poorly because of what your rival does. Puts you in the position to make these mistakes more easily…you might say. But most all of ours was self inflicted. We aren’t the most talented. Haven’t  become the most consistent yet.

Stache gave us consistent. Thats what I wanted to see from Hurts(but haven't). I would choose stache over Hurts as my BU all day(they are both BU's) and who knows what stache could do after 1/2 season of chemistry

Hit Watkins just fine on a 28 yarder that I seen… Throws to Geodart we’re just fine had to fit a ball between a CB and a S was a tad short but nothing outrageous on the under throw…. Then the 2nd TD he threw the ball as Geodart was breaking up field you see that anticipation think I can excuse him miscalculation on a player he never throws to Geodart probably faster then Minshew expected.

Image if he had actual reps with these guys

He got 3 days, not even close to what Hurts has gotten and he performed as well or better than Hurts

I would choose Stache for backup because I would want my starter to be normal QB... then you can run normal offense all the time in practice.   Hurts would be great backup in Baltimore or any where else where they want that running QB gimmick offense.

So they have QBs ranked.... 7, 22, 23 and 28.        If it remains like that, we won't have to trade up at all, unless we want that guy at 7.   My guess is that QBs will go higher than this.  Probably 2 or 3 go before our first pick.

Right, this is why I wanted to see stache play(you did not), we saw how the offense WOULD work with a real NFL, as you say, "normal" QB even if he is a BU. I liked what I saw and lets remember he only had 3 days with the 1's.pretty impressive if you ask me

I believe they will rise also. If we can get Pickett without any sacrifice I would surely do it(if that;s our guy which noone knows) Remains to be seen, but of course if you can do it without sacrifice all the better. Just saying in a PINCH we have the draft capital to move IF need be

So here we are.   Right now Hurts has to win games and look good doing it ... or at least some of the people on the fence come off.   The die hards and those with the political reasons will remain loyal.   I think Lurie will remain loyal to the cause, but Howie will always look to improve it, results matter more for his rep than they do the owner who has other issues mixed in with the winning.      Philly in general just loves the backup QB.    Both the recent dudes that Jax got rid of.    Hurts was that guy last year, but I think the honeymoon is over for most now,  BG was right with the Minshew effect.

IMO Hurts getting hurt was the best thing that could have happened. if it didn't open some eyes in the FO,they need to take off the blinders

If Hurts could play, I wanted him to play .   Gotta play like a big boy.      Do you think this puts Stache in any position to be a starter next year?  I don't.  I think Hurts or the next guy to start.  I think next year is a bigger opportunity for Stache once Hurts sux.  But I didn't need to see him play to know I would prefer him over Hurts as #2.  For me it's simply style... I want consistency.

Well it should shake things up at any rate. Sure it was vs a BAD team, but thats mostly all we have played anyway. What would stache do after having a year playing with this crew? if he and Smith got on the same page look out!

Just depends on when you want the QB drafted.    For me it isn't next year UNLESS we get the preferred target with using one pick.

IDK about lookout!!!!   It was the Jets... w can relax there a little.   But if the bar is set low to where it's just being better than Hurts, then sure.  I just assumed we were already on the same page there?

JMO but Hurts has sucked alot,(Reagor also) I really don't need to find my BU,he's on my roster. Now go for your franchise guy you like and stache is the BU. Grab a top WR and let them grow together. The talent is there it's just a matter of time in my view. If we wait and only have 1 pick next year and we still need a QB we'll be back in the same potition of selling the farm to get him. Forget Watson and wilson,we dont need to spend that

3 days with the 1's is not like 10 games. It was his first ON FIELD experience with THIS team. I'm sure he LOVED the Oline as opposed to what he was used to in Jax. Smith(stud) was not even utilized

Two is a given. Just can’t imagine not having two QBs go that early.

Now I can see! We can beat the Jets! Oh wait ….we’ve always done that. Carry on

Houston will obviously be be QB hunting. IDK if Detroit is happy with Goff or if it's just his surrounding cast. They will have to decide that. SO I can see 2 going early

Who gives a crap about 11 games in the past??? It's sad you even bring that up. How did we do vs the gnats?  Easiest schedule in the league, we should have 10 wins

Detroit, Houston, Seattle(Wilson is traded), Giants, ATL(maybe about time to move on though Ryan has held in strong),   Carolina, Minnesota(gone nowhere with Cousins….predictably), Saints….Qb market is always hot

IDK where the Saints draft. I assume they will take ARod off GB's hands for BIG money. IDK that Wilson leaves Seattle either. Carolina I can see. Gnats all beat up at WR. I think they stick with Jones for now. Someone will get Watson
