I know but at the very LEAST we have a BU QB. Shew has started before,so it's not an impossibility and why I said to trade Hurts for whatever pick you can get. he would be a decent BU in say Baltimore because that is their style. Fitting a round peg in a square hole is not working here

Hurts is irrelevant to Minshew.  Hurts was never going to be a backup here. Not after the whole Wentz fiasco.

True I was shocked at this... probably because Shady played with the running QBs enough... but his guys could throw it with those strong arms,  so he's not really impressed much with just the running from Hurts.

Agreed. Mcnabb and Vick could both run if they wanted to, but preferred to pass first. Personally,Hurts never graduated from college and Siri is catering to Howie. I'm not certain if given free reign that Siri diesnt start shew,or maybe h wanted to earlier and was told "no"

Lots of questions. Is ARod gone from GB?  Who will be the QB in SF in 2022? Where does Watson land? Is Miami happy enough with Tua? Does Wilson stay in Seattle?

All good, and I will pass on all of them and continue to add pieces to the core outside of using one pick for my target QB. The one I feel is the best in the draft.

Thats what started the Wentz fiasco, when we drafted Hurts. Then Wentz was given a trash team on top of that

That is what I want to do also. Save the money

GB..Lurie....not Howie.  Hurts is Lurie's QB....he was Howie's gimmick/backup/future trade / cheap piece.

I think yesterday made it relevant,or at least shined a huge light on it. The post from Shady pretty much says it all,Ham is just in denial

Wentz best WR since Superbowl was Fulgham...that was last year,  you may think the issue started with Hurts...I don't.   The first ever OC by committee was already in place.  Enough issues prior to drafting Hurts.

Welp Howie went to see 2 QB's play in person,so IDK if Lurie sent him or he did that on his own,but there seems to be a conflict starting, not only with the FO, but with the fans,so will be interesting to see what happens over the final few weeks

Welp he started out with Djax and Alshon which didn't last long, but I know he wasn't pleased with the QB draft pick

Back to the future.4 games left(same as last year). Will Siri pull Hurts if he sucks like Ped did with Wentz last year? Hurts was used on a few gimmick plays per game, but if Hurts is pulled, I think he's done here just like Wentz, but for a different reason. I think guys like smith would like some stats before the year is over. Sure they get paid either way,but it's better to have your name in lights sometimes

Or the OC by committee, or how Ertz was treated, or how Jenkins was treated, or how they didn't draft Kupp, Metcalfe or Jefferson...or trade for Diggs... or want to run the ball...etc.  Or maybe even diagnose any of his injuries?   Lots of stuff to where the organization is not exactly using common sense.  Plus idk why its hard to see that Indy was a destination as soon as they hired Reich.  If the BS got too deep it was an easy choice.  If anything Hurts took Wentz off the hook where he could leave without leaving us without a QB.   Jump off the sinking ship as they have a new captain ready to go down with it.

The luvable underdog only lasts for so long.   Once that phase is over, there won't be any reason to not want a change.

Could be interesting and I’m sure unprecedented if Olave, Wilson and Jameson Williams are the first three WR off the board. All three being from Ohio St. Williams having transferred to Bama.

It's not easy being green

https://www.nflmockdraftdatabase.com/big-boards/2022/consensus-big-board-2022?pos=WR   See who they have us taking??? Reagor is done here. I want either Wilson or Olave if I can get them and why I said before- Pickett, Wilson/Olave. See I'm not so dumb lol

Actually, if you reversed that you'd have Wilson Pickett HAHAHAHA

Well we all know it's a top down issue. We can only pretend it's different than it is

we had 3rds and 4ths last year.A bunch more got hurt today

Last year was bad for injuries. This year not so much. Pretty healthy roster this late in the year.

We’ve been through a fair amount. Opeta and Driscoll on IR to start. Brooks and Graham go down early. Those are huge. Seumalo. Sanders gets injured. Lane has his problems I’ll call injury missing games. Taylor had a rough injury season so far. McLeod started injured. Howard goes down once he’s red hot. Kelce is a big one looming. Not sure if it’s something that would even heal in season. Hurts high ankle sprain. Really late bye week feels borderline criminal. But we won some games in the stretch getting there….so I guess it worked. Bodies gotta be really struggling all around. Couple rooks went down this last game as well. Guess it all depends on how healthy our guys come out of the bye.

Ham, not even close to last year ... dod you really want to go there?   You start with 2 backup OL... last year started with 2 starters out the entire season from the start.  And got worse as players missed and went in an out each game.   Not close.   You have better argument saying Hurts has a strong arm.

If Woody is still around, he is loving this game tonight!   Straight out of 1971

The NFL version of soccer tonight

Tuipulito, Gowan, McCain and Vincent didn’t dress. Epps played a good amount even getting a gift interception. Wallace, Chachere and Bradley are the ST corps. McPherson played a fair amount especially once Nelson was injured. Scott does ST also.

Just trying to sort through our DB situation.

Been missing Brooks and Seumalo pretty much the whole season. Driscoll on his second stint on IR. That’s 3 G missing. Opeta was IR COVID. Lane been out. Mailata been out. If Kelce can’t return?

We’ve used four RG this season already.

Brutal wind tonight, they can't hardly pass or kick FG's

That's a lot, but I can't compare to last season when so many injuries at virtually every position.
