What's a deep target?  20 yards?

Exactly. You don’t need a cannon for an arm to do well passing downfield. The over sixty yard pass stuff is really almost only Hail Mary. So noticing a certain second round pick doesn’t have the cannon Josh Allen has…..doesn’t mean he can’t still be effective in these areas. Even super noodle Shew was good his rookie year downfield.

Rivers also had one of the best defenses in football last year they were a top 10 unit while the defense this season has collapsed multiple times already and is middle of the pack…

"Minshew has one of the weaker arms in the league”

   That’s your boy!

Hurts weaker yet as well as INaccarate, but have him bronzed. Your boy

Noodle-Roni can't hold an accuracy candle to Minshew. Not even within striking distance

So as BU QB's I'll take Minshew all day.I'm just wondering at what point Siri says I can't take this anymore and benches Hurts over a screaming Lurie

1. Then why isn't Hurts good?   2. You saw the 2 balls between Reagors drops... the weak arm can cost us there too. Minshew doesn't think run like Hurts does, therefore he will unload the ball on time.   When your QB runs more than once every 6 snaps, it can prevent other aspects of the game from improving

He makes Hurts look real strong. Hurts threw some strong long throws. Shew’s throws were most dying at the end. Not even that long of throws….with no pressure. Really made me appreciate Hurts arm strength. Feels like I hear all this noodle arm stuff here too much. Yet you all love the King of Noodle in comparison. Hurts still has tons of improvement still though. Not at his  ceiling yet. That part is exciting. He could use to learn to read the field quicker and better at times. He could look off DBs more often. Easiest one that’s going to really launch his consistency….is just planting and squaring more. As good as he is with his incredible feet….think fixing his feet as a passer is doable.

Sadly we still have a playoff shot and I'm sure the FO focuses on that, not the draft picks. After Sunday, if Hurts sucks, they will have to Minshew put in

The bar is getting lower. Why is this a conversation...  again.... Hurts gets a 2nd NFL contract that is success....Wentz doesn't win a SB before he retires = failure.     We should have the bar raised.  It's pathetic the conversation is these 2 guys when other teams have adults at QB.

LMFAO hurts arm is weaker than Shew's and he has no accuracy to boot. Minshew has peaked??? he has ONE game after THREE days of practice and he SCORED points. Noodle-Roni throws picks even though he rarely passes because his ONE read is covered

Because you don’t care about anything but some stats. Shew is just a maniac out to get pumped and chuck the rock. I would expect you to understand that QBing is so much more than that.  As a backup…Shew’s fine.

They are both BU's Shew is much better than Hurts, Hurts can't lead a team out of the tunnel

OK Ham you got the top pro QB in Hurts for the next 10 years, you called it bro!!!!(I think he's gone after this year is over) So,i'm pleased you understand the QB position more than anyone else

The Eagles are one of only three teams in the NFL in the top 10 in both third-down efficiency (fifth in the league, 45.4 percent this season) and in red zone touchdowns efficiency (eighth, 66.7 percent), joining Tampa Bay and Arizona. That's strong company.

This was before the Jets game

Those are two huge areas. Converting 3rd downs and scoring TDs when you get  in range. Can work with that. Get the stupid penalties tightened up and it’s improving still.

What about the other side also? We were terrible offense last year with Wentz. Now we are going to be a top ten offense this year without him.

Yea with a healthy offense line TE and WRs.

Wentx was throwing to backups being blocked by backups…. We were calling up PS guys for Wentz to play with last year

Many factors go into record. But it’s all on the line here against Washington. One of us is a playoff team….the other isn’t. I think it can be us!

Most new coaches come in taking over bad teams starting off unstoppable winning. NNNNNNOOOOOOO! It takes a bit of time. Been a roller coaster season. Expected with the youth and new ideas. But every NFL season is a discovery about what team you have. Mixed around  with different things this year. Maybe come up with a good mix to finish the season on here. Finishing 7-3 6-4 sounds much different.

Not when it’s Wentz though it’s all his fault whether the team wins or loses.
