What’s the thoughts on Carson Strong from Nevada? He has huge ability snd ceiling. But he injured his knee in high school and been dealing with it since. He looks pretty darn good. How high to draft that knee though….

The knee injury was in high school I heard and he has played 3 years at Nevada as the starter.

He is a traditional pocket passer not giving you anything as a runner…. He alright navigating the pocket. Probably the best arm in the draft

Saw that the other day.

How appropriate

Hey I get it. He may have been the lesser of two evils, but how in the world can these two parties come up with them as the best option? This country is in real trouble....

Not a huge political guy but I do believe that the fact we only have two major parties is the biggest flaw…. Can’t tell you how many people I see vote simply because it’s the party they support don’t know anything about the candidate

People in this country tend to over react to everything. So I see stuff go from one end of the wpectrum to the extreme other and just shake my head. I feel sorry for my grand kids. They may have nothing to look forward too when they are 30 something.....

Still think of the Eagles want a QB in 2022 we can land a good one without having to move.

I like quite a few of the QBs Pickett is my personal favorite at the moment.

Corral I think will be the top guy massive arm talent and can run

Carson Strong has amazing arm talent but as stated before limited mobility he is that pure pocket passer.

Sam Howell has a ton of talent young guy only be 21 when he is drafted and has 3 years as a starter in college.

Malik Willis- lot like hurts honestly just more explosive runner with better arm talent

Desmond Ridder- big strong guy good mobility still needs more polish as a passer but right team and coach could be good

And yes I do think these guys can be franchise QBs

This is where scouting is needed. Do we have anyone on payroll not named Lurie, that can properly evaluate these guys? Sending HR to scout QB's is like sending me to evaluate Cricket players.........

Again it’s the one area I fully trust the Eagles if they decide to be all in to find a QB.

Under Lurie we only really done this twice Mcnabb and Wentz and both guys were great talents. The building the teams around them not so much.

Also the QB factory of just getting guys doesn’t pan out well. So definitely don’t want some half ass effort to draft a QB it’s either all in or not at all for me

Well, Hurts was a Lurie decision. Yes, not a 1st rounder, but enough for me to worry.....

My concern with them going after a QB like Pickett is Howie is gonna use at least one of the firsts to move up esentially using 2, or heaven forbid 3,  firsts on a good QB but certainly not a sure thing

You are very generous on your assessment. To think 6 QB's from this class can be franchise QB's is a stretch. Most sites only have 2-3 going in round 1. I don't think anyone has one going in the top 5, although I am sure someone will trade up to do so....

But hurts wasn’t an all out look for QB decision he was that we want a QB factory bs.

No no no I think there are franchise QBs in that group not saying all 6 are franchise guys…

Don’t really bother me if a guy is viewed as top 5 or not…. Aaron Rodgers was the 24th pick… Mahomes was drafted 10th Watson was 12th in(and there Qb class wasn’t perceived to be strong)

Well, I think they can grab their QB anywhere from 10-15. So Strongly believe it should only take one first round pick and perhaps an additional 3rd at most! Let's hope Howie holds his ground! I hope that they come up with two QB's they like to avoid a knee jerk reaction we always see....

Pretty fun. I did some wheeling and dealing. Traded back slightly early. Took CB Stingley. Got another slight trade back offer. So took G Kenyon Green. Then LB NaKobe DeanGeorgia kid. Then took RT Faleelele. Got  C Lindstrom after that. Took CB Kendrick.

So I’m really liking the potential of trading down with a first. Get us an extra day two guy by moving back slightly seems like an obvious win.

IDK get me the best guys. Trade up,trade down, stay the same. Fill the hole with the BPA.And IMO there is a new hole at WR. I won't say what kind of hole,I will leave that to you 🤣

I'm sorry but if Wilson is there when I pick,he is an Eagle

The Eagles offense started when they ran the ball. Their ranking has NOTHING to do with the arm of the QB. Both Hurts and Minshew are not the answer, but you continue to hold onto the slim hope that Hurts starts completing all of his passes. It isn't happening. Hurts is a great FF QB because he can run, but a terrible NFL QB because he cannot throw. Maybe he can get the Eagles a 2nd round pick if they continue to play him. Probably the best thing HR could do at this point.

Agreed. Shew is the better BU in my view. He made Hurts expendable last Sunday

IDK in QB'a we scouted Wentz well(as did about everyone else with a pulse). It gets trickier when there are no real standouts. Smaller schools starting to produce nice players(see cincy now) Liberty up and coming, Coastal Carolina too. I like their QB who can be had with a later pick (McCall). They also have a seriously decent WR who could be had as a BU with potential

We have soooo many needs that WR as our first pick for the 3rd draft in a row seems an overkill to me. No, I want to address the defense for at least two of these picks. If they decide to go QB, so be it, but hit the defense for at least the next two picks.

Well at the time we had no real BU to Wentz,so Howie thought he was filling a hole at BU QB,but it backfired

Top talent. I need guys that can catch and run proper routes, Reagor is a fail in both areas. What good is a stud QB if your guys can't catch? And Reagors attitude is "well whatever there is always next week" To hell with that
