Like every FA depends what he wants. After last night, Pitts needs a QB. You can see Ben starting down the career slope

You just now are seeing that? He got real old looking last season. I will say….last night…he was pretty clutch. Didn’t score anything until late. All garbage time points plenty here would call them. But it almost was enough to steal the game. Big Ben could barely move….but he slid just a bit from the pass rush and darted that ball through triple coverage to his TE. TE dropped it from getting hit every which way. Not really blaming Freirmuth. But Ben did his job big time there.

It is not that we think it is not a "Hole". It is that we have soooo many other areas of need that we are in worse shape in. QB, DE, DT, LB, S and CB. We spent #1 picks on WR's the past 2 years ignoring all others. I feel WE need to draft BPA. So I guess if WR is BPA you will get your wish. But if 2-3 people are of equal value, I would prefer we go Defense.

Who was the last first round defender we took? Barnett?

Godwin, Juju or another WR that is a solid 1/2 would be fine addition to our team. Draft another in the later rounds if someone drops. As I said. Pittsburgh always drafts Wr's round 3/4 and they are solid players. Just need good scouting. We are good scouting D_Line and O-Line. Would not know about LB as we never draft one before round 3....

Chase Claypool their first pick at 49 in the 2nd 2020.

Dionte Johnson 3rd round 66th pick 1999.

James Washington 2nd round 60th pick.

JuJu 2nd round pick 62.

Just interested me how they have been doing it.

I’d rather the Eagles take who they perceive is the best player rather then filling the hole… I don’t want to go WR round 1 but I’m also not going to pass one up if he is clearly the best player either

I’m actually open to taking a C. Never really valued nearly as much as a T. But Linderbaum I have really high on My Big Board. Might be the best Oline in this draft. Need is there also.

Not sure I could take one with our first pick but if he was available later in round 1 I’d consider it.

Really comes down to our view at C and what’s the plan moving forward… Is the plan Dickerson or Semaulo at C??? Do we want to keep Dickerson at LG???

My guess for us in the draft is QB,DL,CB in no real order just the 3 spots I think we will snag round 1

Dickerson and Seumalo can play G….that we know. RG…we don’t know as much about. Assuming either can do it. C…..is a much bigger assumption. Seumalo at C I think would be the most likely move right now. But getting a dominating C we can move right on to….gotta consider that option. Or….consider not having that option….and Seumalo not working out like presumed.

Explain your trade proposal

I’m not going to put Linderbaum quite on my level about how I felt about Nelson but….not far behind. I liked C Creed Humphrey last year. I think he lasted awhile until the Chiefs took him. He slid right in for them though.

Faalele is my second round RT. If we got a C and RT we’d be pretty set on the Oline potentially for awhile. Lindstrom the C from BC looks good also.

I will say, I more want to get these young guys in here. Years of experience and growth are crucial right now. So I’m leaning on this side of things for this draft. Really could go all out on this draft in my mind. We could use 2023 draft ammo to make sure we get what we want.

Lmao is every team going to lose there starting QB so we can keep winning

Playoff experience is very valuable in my mind. Give these guys two playoff games this year….would be fantastic. Heck….think it makes us much more attractive and relevant to upcoming FA as well.

I don’t have one but say we trade the colts pick but in return we want future assets in 2023. A team that wants to win now would likely be willing to part with a first in 2023(plus extra because we are moving out the draft) for a chance at a player now that can help them.

We have one of the most dominate C in college in Dickerson on our roster he can definitely play play C. Not sure what is available at G but hence the question what do we think about the guys we have

Only future assets is what I’m trying to figure out? Trading down from 18 to 26 PLUS the 2023 first I’m considering.  Without getting back a first this year I’m very hesitant. Basically I’d have to consider the trade a windfall. We are building and growing(obviously pun intended) something here. You can’t have this core grow together when they still are playing in college though. We need a huge influx of young talent. We got a bunch of guys this year to really jumpstart some things. This is a big draft for us to grow that core!

What team is giving up a 23 first to move up 8 spots to 18 seems unlikely…. Now say 18 to a team that gives us a 2nd to 3rd this year plus a 2023 is plausible.

I want to go from sweeping the Skins. To making the playoffs. To underdog taking a playoff victory away from a top team in the Conference. To add more talent through FA, draft and trade. Then going from a one playoff game winning team to the next level next season….and so on….

Like I responded about your draft trade proposal. I want these guys to grow together. I really like the chemistry combo of Dickerson and Mailata on the left side for us for years.

I have zero clue why you are gung ho to get into the playoffs. I want to lose out for a better pick(at least the one thats ours we control).; We win just enough too stay .500 for a decade and get mediocre draft picks which results in us staying at .500. Rinse and repeat. We need to suck rocks and get better picks for this year and maybe next.By THEN you should have the talent to talk playoffs and be able to back it up

We have three first round picks. Plus most all our own picks. Draft room we can make good or bad picks from anywhere really. We can sign good or bad free agents also. You get the picture of what we could do in any player trade scenario as well.
