So far... Hurts has 4 games vs the division.    59 total points.    Not even 15 per game.

It's not exactly the 1980s NFC East either.    This is a first step, trying to get one win.

Not hurts fault it’s the team but that time Wentz lost to the cowboys or Washington it was all his fault

I am really tired of all this Hurts talk. Ham thinks he is the next Montana, all others think he is a bust or at most a Back up. Yes he is a FF freak. So is Taysom Hill. Neither will get you to the SB. Let's move on from here please. I had two picks wrong in the Pool Sunday. Both games went into OT. Of course I ended up on the wrong end. My Wife has a slim chance, as total points needs to be 49 on the money....

As for the play-offs. We need to beat Washington this week and the Giants next week before we can honestly start talking WC. Washington is not going to be easy, no matter who is at QB. They have a great D-Line and lb's

Hurts talk isn’t going anywhere until at least seasons end sorry bud.

I was high on Hurts because of seeing the field when plays were breaking down, and intangibles are the most important for QB out of any position in sports.

But for most of the time, being able to QB in the construct of the play, seeing others open, etc....sheesh

LOL no,throwing the ball with accuracy all over the field is most important. Intangibles don't matter if you can't do the simple football 101 things you learn in HS

How can you move on until we move on from Hurts? He is our (supposed) QB

Sad day in hillbilly land today.

We had to put one of our old brood mares down.

She was 28 years old.   The 34 year old one is just still chugging along.

Intangibles matter to the media, everything needs to be a story.   Talking about fundamentals and work is boring..the Intangibles is a way people can say " the normal guy who can't physically do the basics " has a chance to succeed.

For me, I have 4 athletes on my Rushmore when it comes to the " intangibles"   Magic, Bird, Gretzky and Joe Montana.    All 4 however were fundamentally and physically skilled at their sport to start with... the Intangibles kicked in when the competition level and stakes were raised, where each player raised the level of play of their teammates.    The way its used to describe our current QB seems really pathetic.   Does anyone think the WRs are better because of Hurts?    The running game still worked without him, to me that would have been the best argument for his stans.  He's a placeholder, just depends for how long.  All the fans who like the soap opera surrounding the game and this idea of " underdog"  they will support him til the end.  The rest of us can just ignore, this will pass soon enough.

https://www.profootballnetwork.com/jameson-williams-alabama-wr-nfl-draft-scouting-report/  Since(at this juncture) we seem out of the running for the 2 top OSU WR's,I would settle for this guy with the(as of now) 21 pick. He transferred from Ohio state because he would have been a BU behind the 2 top guys,so he has the OSU offense experience as well as the Bama offense experience. I would be fine with this pick at 21. I suppose we could take Olave with our first 1 pick(10,11 whatever),but for the value if I can get Williams at 21,then I go that route even though Olave was my original pick for us(which after watching them alot I changed to Wilson) I would have NP removing Reagor and putting this kid in in his place. Trade Reagor to LV to replace Ruggs

Not sure, but Williamson might have surpassed Olave now. He had such a huge game against the vaunted Georgia D in the SEC Championship.

A win vs the division would be step 1. So far 0 for 4.

Nothing says pushing an agenda like trying to hold a game the entire organization was purposely losing against Hurts. It’s stuff like this is why teams can’t purposely lose out to get better picks. Because people like you will always hold that against them. We tank the game….you blame Hurts. Pretty much sums up everything you say against Hurts. All agenda based. Let the guy play. Give him a chance. With you: never.

Siri owns the loss versus the Cowboys. Gameplan was completely against who we are as a team. Arguably Siri’s worst game. Let’s throw throw throw to keep up with dallas. Stupid. Run the ball. Control the clock and TOP. Only positive is that now we are playing more towards our identity. It took such a horrible gameplan to expose and highlight this for Siri. So there is that positive at least.

That’s our QB1. Looking for postseason victories from Hurts. Why he took Wentz job!

Here's your post, You figure it out

Wentz is responsible for his loss to Washington. Hurts isn’t responsible for Tankgame. So that part you are correct. Slow down on pumping your agenda and enjoy the season. Beat Washington!

Only thing is Hurts hasn’t hasn’t even had that opportunity yet. This is his first shot. I think he and this team can do it. Beat Washington! Find out.

Seems more like what I’ve heard of these Wentz lovers. The guy cried and left our team because he got benched and lost his job to Hurts. Wentz was obviously scared knowing he’d have to earn the starting job against Hurts. That happened. I don’t think Hurts is Montana at all(unlike Wentz apologists). I think he’s a great hard working quality leader. He’s a work in progress QBing in the NFL. Not doing too bad for his first season at the helm. I’d rate him around the middle of the pack in the NFL starting QBs(right around that Colts guy). His intangibles for the team have been great. I really like how he’s very even keel. Never too high or too low. See it rubbing off on all those around him. He’s delivered the most explosive plays of anybody. But he’s also been consistently converting on third downs and in the redzone. That’s a great combination for me. That I can work with. Kids only going to get better. Not sure how that could even be argued against.

You preferred the QB just holding on to the ball all day and taking sacks.

Exactly. We are still paying him this season however.

I moved on from Wentz to the guy that took his job in Hurts. Maybe I’m the only one here to do that. Wouldn’t be the first time I stood alone on this board.
