If a player's not ready and there' a high risk he could further injure himself - ie Dillard's early return from shoulder injury leading to biceps tear - then go to plan B.

Are we still at the point where we can't trust the medical staff? Knowing players will fight thru pain, MRI's don't lie

They have to be right about guys like Maddox, Mills, Epps and James in the secondary, since there will not be any more Slays and Will Parks to bail them out. The young wrs have to be decent. Those are my biggest concerns, along with oline. If we get decent play from those three positions, I think we will be fine this year and the next couple of years. If not, there's not a cavalry of free agents heading over the ridge to save us from bad drafting.

Slay is here he is the guy we need to be right on...Also we don’t need much in terms of prominent FA we got most our peices in place...

Parks is the perfect example of FA will likely will get they are mid/low tier signing.... Howie will free money to get some FA sign some of our own back that is my point every year we say well we won’t be able to do these things and every year Howie makes moves happen.

Also we don’t have to be right about Epps or James will be great if we are but those bottom roster guys are just that don’t see us losing much in terms of depth because we don’t really have any FA as I Stated...still think we will sign few FA those mid/low tier depth guys possible starter....And maybe the biggest thing drafting

As a franchise you should not want to have to turn to FA to sign top guys every year

Dougie said Miles might start the year on a snap count....So expect to see bit more of Scott/Clement I’d image

OL still not looking to good for week 1...Doug declining to say Lane will be ready. Maybe he just doesn’t want to let Washington known if we have lane or not but doesn’t sound favorable for us....

If lane is out one of the trio of Mailata/Driscoll/Herbig will be starting.  My thinking would be Driscoll or Mailata at RT but seen quite a bit who think it could be Pryor moving to RT with Herbig coming in at G

why isn't he signed by anybody yet?     what is his demand?

My guess is he wants LT money(as I said before)

Not sure why it is shocking to see Suds as the #2 QB I knew that how it was going to be... Though I see him as Chase Daniels unfortunately if knock on wood nothing happens Wentz were to go down for serious time... Believe Hurts would jump Suds and become the starter

I have not been a big fan of Suds.It seems to me his "'destiny" as a #3 QB would make me move on (see McCown signing).I would prefer to add someone that has #1 or #2 potential. And I agree with 93(rare lol) that Suds is indeed the #3 despite what they say

I think Suds is the better option to bring in mid-game but with full weeks prep get thebO built for Hurts would be the guy if that makes sense lol....

Though I’m not as down on Suds as you are he just never gotten a real fair chance to play

Bottom line for me is,if you are good you get a "fair chance to play". We shall see who plays in garbage time

Mmmmm think that is to narrow thinking for me.... Situations play a massive role...look at Greg ward and how long it took him to be seriously considered was cut believe 4 times before finally this year making the 53....

Suds has been in a similar boat came in was stuck behind Foles he was never going to unseat Foles especially after he won the SB... Then the first year he did have a chance broke his wrist(though Wentz stayed upright all season long) so only chance we would have seen him was vs Seattle in the playoffs but by then had McCown

On the radio they said the 1st string OL in practice was ... Peters, Isaac, Kelce, Pryor and Lane   ... apparently Reagor was looking really good returning punts and moving around.

Also can look at OL we have had in the past and RBs that went on to find success elsewhere they clearly had talent but were not in a great situation with us to be given a legit chance

Interesting tidbit on Get Up this am RE: Daks' contract. No QB has ever played under the franchise tag and then gone on to sign an extension w/ that team.

Let's sell "Overpay Dak" t-shirts

Right, because of the price increase after being tagged the first time, makes more sense to play for the 2nd tag.   If I'm Dak, $45 mil per year for 4 years ... if they go longer take more per year... otherwise, play for the tag again next year and then get paid after that when salaries should jump even higher.   He'll sign the big contract prior to turning 29 in early 2022.  Make the $$$ Dak ... but more importantly for me... make it all count vs the cap.

If Reagors shoulder is anything at all i don't see him returning punts.

Eagles say Miles Sanders (hamstring) Jalen Reagor (shoulder), Lane Johnson (ankle), and Derek Barnett (hamstring) were limited practice participants Wednesday. Javon Hargrave (pectoral and hamstring) and Alshon Jeffery (foot) did not practice.

Reagor was practicing this stays with the fact team believes he will be ready week 2

So where are my missing pages? Weird

Carson was real hot....then he got ice cold.

Just rewatched some of the game to focus on the oline.

There were certain plays that we just had meltdowns.

On one, they rushed two LBs and we were in perfect shape to pick them up, but Clement slipped and the rusher had a free run at Wentz, who ducked under him and got rid of the ball.

On another play, they brought a rusher and we didn't pick up Kerrigan. This was probably on Driscoll.

On the play before we kicked our field goal, Peters was in fine shape with Young, but Clement chipped him, which ended up throwing Peters off balance and letting Young have inside leverage, which caused the fumble.

Perhaps the worst play was the first one after they took the lead. Mailata is in at RT. We have 1st and 10 from the 25. And then we do something, I mean, it’s kind of hard to describe. For some reason we have Mailata block the DT. Herbig didn’t block anybody. And Seumalo pulled to try and block Kerrigan, with help from Clement. It was a bizarre play, and what ended up happening is that Kerrigan ended up just running over Clement , which kept Seumalo from being able to block him.

It’s hard to understand this team sometimes. Clement killed us in protection. I thought Herbig was fine, but there were times he was a little lost. Driscoll was never beaten cleanly that I saw. Mailata was knocked off balance once (on the long pass to DJax that was almost picked) but otherwise looked fine.

I would say our biggest problem was that we didn't have hot routes on blitzes, which was probably a function of having two rookie wrs on the field most of the time, which was just stupid.

My post game "techncal analysis-    "we suck" I pulled Murray for Wentz in Fantasy and of course Murray is lighting it up.Next draft-round 1-O line, round 2-O line round 3-O line
