If the running game is working why "fix" it???

We are the number one rushing team in all the land yet….all you do is bit2h about fixing it. No consistency from you. Wentz throws for 57 yards on 5 of 12 passing and you call that beautiful.

https://scores.nbcsports.com/fb/leaders.asp?year=2021&range=NFL&rank=002&type=Rushing     Taylor leads the league. Let's see, where are our RB's on this list? Oh that's right, the ball hog QB is our leading rusher

Taylor should be MVP the way he’s carrying their offense this season. Yet we rush fir more yards a game than they do. Shows you just how excellent we are at running the rock. You should embrace our strengths. Colts do it you love it. We do the same you hate it. Think you might be in the wrong place here.

Colts #2 rushing. They are 21st in passing yards, we are 30th. Once again if the running game is working BETTER than the Colts and we play WORSE teams WHY aren't we 10-3? because we are 30th in passing yards.Don't tell me I am in the wrong place, I have been a fan longer than you

You posts only prove what I have said all along. Hurts is a RB who can throw a little bit.Your own posts BACK THIS UP 😉

Wentz only asked to throw 12 passes also had a TD with an int… This is a far cry from Hurts passing 31 times for 129 yards 3 ints or 24 times 147 yards

Wentz has 3K passing 23-6 TD/int he is hardly a non factor for the offense… It’s shocking the ground game is great when the Colts have big leads and lean on the run.

Soooo we have 3 first round picks…. Remember way back when I said it was the likely outcome and all we heard is oh Wentz is injury prone he doesn’t finish seasons lmao 🤣.

Yet Wentz has played in every game and the sooo durable Hurts missed a game likely to have missed 3 weeks(lucky with the bye week and todays game getting pushed back)

Don’t think we use all 3 of these first rounders though I know it won’t make some fans happy but whether it is a trade up or a trade down to collect more ammo(mainly for 2023) don’t think we use all 3 firsts in the 2022 draft

Didn't you say at the beginning of the year there was no way Wentz would get 75% of the snaps?

I just can't remember for sure.

Really want to talk consistency on judging QBs… Wentz will throw for 300 yards 3 tds give his team a 17 point lead that will get blown by the D and you will blame him for the lose…. Yet Hurts will throw for 129 yards 3 ints only score 7 points on offense and you want to blame Reagor

I disagree. I think Howie has his sights set on Pickett. He;s watching TWO of his first round WR picks languish because his 2nd round pick cannot deliver the ball and we have all geard the rumors that Lurie wants to "throw the ball more". If you put all that together it seems like a no brainer. Of course we won;t know until draft day. He could easily use that last 1 pick to move for Pickett if he wanted to,so although that round 1 pick won't be used on a selection,it will still be "used". Now comes the question of do we keep Reagor, who seems to be a patently slow learner who does't really care about his dropped passes. So as mush as we want defense,I could easily see a Pickett/Wilson(or other top WR) round 1. The defense has played as well as they can despite alot of lackluster players. So we can still improve the defense with the remaining picks. The other option is to stick with Reagor and hit the D with that 2nd round 1 selection. I can see both cases. I just can't get the fact we take  our QB now off the table. I like Willis also, but believe he will go early and that Howie won't give up all the draft capital for him. Some have either of those 2 as their #1 QB choice. Of course this scenario also depends on who gets whom of the FA QB's that will become available. Due to the cap mess I don;t see Howie spending the loot on a big name QB, so the draft is his best option.Despite the carp QB play,Smith is doing well. What would be do with an accurate passer who thinks "pass first"? Improving the defense doesn't really require stars, and we can still get solid starters in 2,3,4 even(deep class for linemen) so if I had to guess,I would say Pickett in 1,maybe a top D guy and take a WR in 2 if we plan to move away from Reagor. Will be a very interesting draft

Wouldn’t shock me if we took Pickett still doesn’t change the fact I don’t see us using all 3 first rounders this season I hope we do but seems more likely we see a trade down with at least one of them collecting more picks

SO what are our strengths exactly? I think it's our O line and that fact there my friend allows the QB the time to make his reads. Hurts doesn't do that-1 and run despite having a terrific O line. If he doesn't trust them how is what going to affect the passing game?. The O line also can open holes for RB's(which it took 12 weeks for them to "discover").So if our O line is the strength, why is ball hog not utilizing his best asset??? If an O line opens a gaping hole every down, I will personally get you 75 yard rushing(and I'm 65 with bad legs).Colts? Also have a nice Oline which allows Wentz to pass or hand off as HE SEES FIT. He trusts his O line,Hurts apparently doesn't or ignores them as the team strength on offense. SOme games Wentz will throw, other he doesn't need to because his O line is capable of providing one or the other as ours is. They just use theirs better. In fact our Oline is probably better than theirs,so where are the numbers????? We should either be running amok on the ground or passing for 300+ per game. Nice balance would be nice, that is always the goal, but we all know one or the other comes out on top every game(usually)

Who knows? Only Howie knows. I see no reason to put off filling a hole another year when you have the picks now. Who in 2023 is worth waiting for? I personally do not know. if you can sneak a '23 pick in as added bonus to make the deal, then NP,but it will be some time before we have this plethora of picks again

Using the pick doesn’t guarantee filling a hole ie Reagor as you like to point out l. I’m not against either route but we know howie likes to wheel and deal and having 3 firsts I just see it hard to see us not trading with one of them.

Reagor stinks. I can blame them both 🤣

Well, he may need 1 to move up if Pickett(or Willis or whomever) is our guy. And if that happens I don't see him squandering the other 1 losing a top WR or a top D guy to move down for lesser players. Seems we mostly have decent BU's everywhere,so the more starters(yes I know nothing is guaranteed lol) we can get the better we will be. If we don't move for a QB,then I can see the trade back(you can still have a 3rd 1 pick and add more later with the 11 pick). In other words if Pickett falls in our lap at 10,then I can see your scenario using the 11 pick

Using the 11 pick we still have 21 and could still get a 3rd pick in round 1 plus something else(the 2023 you mention) but for me I want 4 picks in the top 2 rounds,if we can make that 5 that's fine with me. So 10,21 and another 1 pick wherever it is doesn't hurt much and an added 2 works for me

BTW I am totally focused on Gardner at CB. In his career with Cincy, he has allowed exactly ZERO TD's(not just this year ALL years). I believe he is the CB anchor we need to get. I also like Brisker at S in round 2. Both would immediately upgrade our weak secondary. If he can shut down the Bama offense(upcoming game) from scoring a TD against him, that's my guy

Fine, then you guys can continue to cry and whine. Been over a year now since Wentz was our QB1. I hear WAWA has tampons on sale. I suggest you guys get the super absorbency ones.

This from the guy for years whining like a little b##$ch about drafting Lane instead of Ziggy Anzah.    😆

Our secondary really seems to be coming into there own we definitely need to get younger though. Since Gannon has been finding his footing as a DC the secondary play has improved Slay is having a pro bowl caliber season and Maddox has looked really good in the slot

But Joe Don’t you know Ziggy is way better then Lane you remember that time he got the better of lane when Lane got asked to switch sides mid game with no reps at LT the entire week.

That clearly showed why Ziggy> Lane
