Your boy passed for 57 yards today. Definitely earning that 35 mil

I have to admit that I didn’t like what I saw from Wentz YESTERDAY. He threw behind guys and looked unsure. It COULD be that he hardly threw the ball (didn’t get into a rhythm), but he did not play well yesterday YET they still won. No excuse for his poor play though. It was not good.

So you're going to tell me cold weather dome temperatures are not lowered a bit for visiting west coast/warm weather teams? Really?

Dude, you are going to lose that argument. It is inside. Fans don’t expect to freeze inside. Not going to be cold enough inside for the players to be negatively impacted.

Yeah I like either Pickett or Willis . Either is an upgrade and both have the potential to be franchise types

As long as you don’t give up ANYTHING extra to get one….draft where you are supposed to pick to get one of them…Pickett preferred. Neither is a cant miss candidate.

Sorry but this covid protocol is  a load of ISH. Anyone know of an active football player who has been hospitalized?????  A few days off and they come back and play great? I think it's a joke for people this age who are in SHAPE. Now Dickerson will be out and how many more by Tuesday??? But the Wuss will get their guys back

I cannot agree more. Total horseshit. Nearly the entire coastal US is out of touch with the rest of the country. We have moved on…learning how to live with it because it is not going away. The NFL is acting like they are SOOOOO caring. Give me a break! Pious attitude is a joke. If they have no symptoms, let them play. Players play with the flu and colds. Ridiculous! And yes I do know a few people (older) who have died of covid. I also know of people who have died of the flu. Moving this game and keeping guys out of the game for this is a joke.

I’ll do more investigating in the offseason. Not really feeling any of these guys in the first round. Whomever falls to the second I would consider. Even though I’m fairly set on taking the monster Australian RT Faalele in the second. All three of our first round picks have risen into playoff territory now. Really was hoping Miami would really suck and deliver us a top five pick.

Assumes the Eagles don’t lose three in a row….. 😳. Just gotta give you a hard time Cunningham.

I don’t watch enough college ball to know but watching highlights of these two guys, no way I give up picks to move UP to get one.

Yeah it was so politicized for the election. When does the wheel ever stop with this pandemic? Seemed obvious to me from the get go it was just a new part of life. Really hoping they can get the pill ready to do something about this. I’ve been reading about several companies they believe they have it figured out. Of coarse it feels like testing and clearances won’t get the easy green light like the vaccine got.

I will say it seems like Corral earned the top honors. So I expect him to be first pick off the board. Willis took a small school to the postseason their first three seasons in big time ball. Definitely something to be said there. Feels like he his excellent in the intangibles areas. If you care about all that stuff in a QB. To me it’s a crucial piece to the job….at that position.

That’s why you’ve always earned credibility in my book. Don’t always agree with all your opinions….but listen snd respect them. Nice to hear fairly agenda free opinions.

I really liked how the late pass rush by the NO Edge rusher he got that shot on the RB coming out of the backfield on the pass play. Totally disrupted the checkdown. It’s those small detail elements that make such a huge difference. Stopped Brady and forced the punt. I feel like that was the bar and level of discussion here for years….that understanding of these small little things are the difference in sucking and success on this level.

So if we assume we make the playoffs(huge assumption I know)….who is the easiest potential matchup we want? Who is the worst matchup for us?

  • Author

Don’t want to be a prisoner of the moment with the Cards losing to Detroit. But I’m thinking they are the best matchup for us potentially. Of coarse they might not even win their division now. Rams might take over. I’ve been kind of pointing out how one injury changes the dynamics with most every team. Feels like the Bucs are our biggest problem matchup. Just too many weapons for them. Green Bay is really good. But I feel like we stand a chance against them. Slay knows Adams well. Adams got the best of him last time. Slay was hobbled though. Slay is that kind of player though….feel like he would welcome the redemption moment. Also feel like if he gave up a hundred yards and a TD we could survive that. Especially if he makes a play and gets a pick. GB is so talented across the board. Much better team than us. But feel like our other secondary players have a chance to hold their own. Their Oline is manageable for us. They have two very quality RBs. But if we single Adams maybe we can contain that. Cowboys I’m not scared of. They did their usual…started strong but fading late. Dak hasn’t been looking great. So many receivers. So that’s a problem. Slay can take out Cooper. But Lamb is a problem for Maddox. Gallup is also a problem. Not good for Nelson or McPherson(whom I’m about ready to turn that job over to). Their D is built on our blueprint. Gregory, Lawrence and Parsons are kicking butt. Three pass rushers getting things done is really fueling their D. We had problems in the first matchup for sure. Can Mailata and Johnson step up to the task? Kind of think they can. Problem in the first matchup was we tried to pass pass pass. Let Lane and Mailata run block maul on those guys instead though….those guys can’t hold up against that. Really feel we could punish them run blocking enough to slow their pass rush as the game wears on. That’s really what we have to do to any of these more talented teams. We gotta play our style of ball. Can’t get behind big early. Need to bully them with physicality and control the ball to keep their O off the field and protect our D. That’s our formula. That’s what gives us a punchers chance against anybody. Beat them up. Wear them down. Keep things close.

Crap, Maryland Football team gets back Allen and we lose Dickerson. That hurts. Really going to be a problem. I’d put Opeta at LG and Herbig at RG. They aren’t going to move Allen in the run game like we’ve been doing though. If I was DC for us I’d probably focus early double teams on him to help wear him down and negate his impact. Make him a bit more manageable.

I would love to have my QBs poor play lead to 27points.

Credit to the OLine. They were DOMINATING! And Taylor. Impressive RB.

Correct, a team game.  When your team runs for that many yards you should put up a lot of points and win vs putting up 7 points and lose.

Yeah it takes a ton of screw ups by many to have that game happen. Early on we had coaches screwing up arguably the worst. Not going to blame them in the Gmen game. It was a complete team effort.

But week 14 bye is ridiculous. Borderline not fair. We came out really flat. Could blame coaching on that. That is their job, to make sure everybody is hitting on all cylinders. But felt like in many of our losses it was individuals screwing up at the wrong time. Bad timing if you will. Some call it complimentary football. A hold on a three yard gain….whatever. When it wasn’t needed on a big gain TD….it really hurts.

Was that not the Giants game? Hurts wasn’t very good. But yet the whole team kind of made terrible sloppy mistakes. Looked like Kelce is our most important player. It got exposed. He’s made Pro Bowls. All Eagles fans love him. But yet he still might be underrated. Is that possible? That game made me feel like it is. Made me feel like we better take a stud C early.

Well, you can sign Huntley and not give up anything. He is a FA, so would you give him a shot? Sure, he only played a few games, but he played real well against a top 10 defense and almost won. He can run, but he also has an accurate arm from what I saw Yesterday. Granted, we have only seen a small sample size, but why not sign him and have him battle it out with Hurts next Spring. Whomever plays better will start. If neither is the answer we draft a QB in 2023.... Anyone have thoughts on this?

3 INTs are big part of the screw ups!

The last 17 games made me want to take a QB early on... but I still fear they go all in there and mortgage the farm.  The biggest reason why I wouldn't mind seeing the current QB back to start next year.

My thoughts are if you can draft your target QB with one pick, do it.  Otherwise any scenario where you don't spend money or multiple picks on a QB so you can use them on the rest of the roster works better.   In this scenario I don't really care who plays QB next year.

I agree, but if you can sign a QB without using a Draft pick and it improves your team you should do it.....
