I would say our biggest problem was that we didn't have hot routes on blitzes, which was probably a function of having two rookie wrs on the field most of the time, which was just stupid.

I would say our biggest problem is out coach's reluctance to make the game easy.  Like your opponent showed ZERO,,, absolutely ZERO on offense.... meanwhile while you were up 17 yuor QB was getting physically beaten up.  Perfect time to run the ball and set up scenarios where you run the ball with 1:37 left and either you go up 17-0, 20-0 or 24-0.  But you let that depend on Washington's defense.  You then get the ball to start the 2nd half where they have to account for your run game at that point due to the score and time, so you may end up hitting a deep ball.. but regardless they had zero life on offense... good chance that don't even score a TD the rest of the game if you didn't give them life at the end of the half.  The 10 yard out pass was a dumb call.  You want to run the clock there.
" well we want to always stay aggresive"    Not at that point jack@ss... your QB ws getting killed... run the ball get into next week with the W and your QB healthy.  You got cocky and it cost you.

I agree with this. Our playcalling was like we were tied rather than ahead 17-0 on a team that couldn't move the ball at all.

So many decisions today made no sense.

My post game "techncal analysis-    "we suck" I pulled Murray for Wentz in Fantasy and of course Murray is lighting it up.Next draft-round 1-O line, round 2-O line round 3-O line

Don't we have a New Medical staff this season we had an analyst that monitored the previous medical staff for a year This ongoing injury problems is an issue . I put this loss on Doug and his coaching staff. No creativity or adjustment after the early scripted plays. Let's get these ugly games out early. I hope Doug can figure this out.

IDK we had a 17-0 lead, how the hell do you allow 27 unanswered points from a basically lackluster team??? Thats insane(and BTW thats a record comeback for them).Even with injuries the players forgot to play 60,same as it ever was.Remember when we did this last year? We play 30 minutes?-not gonna cut it,BU's or no BU's.I'm sick of hearing "we need to do better" Stop F ing talking and DO BETTER.We literally gave this game away

Like I said in my post that got lost ....    Doug adjusts when we lose RBs... when we got to the lesser QB .... yet with Wentz in the game and getting killed behind your 7th, 8th, and 9th OL  ... he still keeps the playbook where 5 guys go out in the route.... every so often use the small RB to pass protect....   Today, was a great opportunity to use rollouts, max protection and send Reagor and DeSean deep... do it when the QB knows he has time without thinking he is gonna get killed.     We do him know favors keeping the game uphill.   You can't play 60 minutes getting your QB hit on 2 out of 3 pass attempts.    With a 17 point lead playaction would actually work because you don't have to pass, they actually need to respect the run.  Then you finally run the ball successfully and you get away from it?   Why do we always seem to get away from the run game right at the cusp of FG range, where avoiding a sack creates a FG attempt.  It's like clockwork anymore with the play calling when we have a lead and a refusal to run the ball and make it easy.

We played 28:23 ... not 30 minutes

I know we had problems on offense,we kinda figured that. When we went up 17 it was on the D which is bascially the D will will have this year and they gave up 27.There is no excuse for this(other than the pick 6)

So if the D surrenders 27 to a mundane team, what will they do against a team with an actual offense?

Scott got injured is why

You didn't watch the game did you?   The momentum clearly changed when we just refused to run the ball at the end of the half to eliminate any sign of life.  The out call with the INT gave them life.  At that point they could throw a shallow pass and break a tackle and it changes things.   With the 17 point lead, the nickel and dime stuff wouldn't be an option for them.  When you have a team down, keep them their, don't help them.  The play calling and the mistakes from the QB were the issue.... the defense on its own was fine and would have dominated had it been kept in that situation.

I knew we would struggle on offense.I thought we could still do enough to win. What shocked me into reality is out D is basically healthy and this is our D for the year??? OMG we're DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMED

No I dozed off at 17-0 to wake up to a nightmare lol

The D is basically healthy.... without Hargrave, Barnett and Curry ..... just like the protests were mostly peaceful other than this fire right behind me??/

I said I would give a pass on the pick 6.Your D is NOT fine if you give up 27 unanswered

So field position doesn't matter?

Giving up 27 is not just due to field position, please.Giving up 7-10-14 even maybe, but not 27

Yes the two interceptions completely gave them life and 14 points. I’m not really tagging the defense for that. Then the offense going for it on fourth down set the defense up also. Not blaming them because the O didn’t convert. Didn’t really like going for it there.
Wentz took a few sacks that really hurt the offense. Losing that field goal really hurt. Set them up nicely also.

Yeah,it was a sad display,at least what I saw.I picked the game back up with 6 mins left in the 3rd lol. So without Sanders,we have no run game, without Lane we have no O line- perfect(ly humiliating) so we win or lose with 2 guys-not gonna work

Sad to say(but I will, anyway cause that's how I am),it was a great game to stick Hurts in a few times, give them that run threat we LACKED and let Wentz gather himself, but nah that's another dumb idea.I suck as a coach

So here are Washington's 5 scoring drives....

45 yards   TD
20 yards  TD
26 yards  FG
48 yards TD
20 yards FG

5 scoring drives..... total of 159 yards????

prior to that they had 5 drives for 98 yards and zero points.    They even started off the half with a 3 and out losing 10 yards ....   The Eagles offensive mistakes not only gave them life, but they were like giving them food and drink and a place to sleep to go with it.   Wash ended up with only 239 yards of offense.   Go watch the game first and then tell me what you think.  Better than assuming things

SO we held them to FG's on the times they were close, but we couldn't stop them from the 50 twice.ok got it

To further make my point... they had ZERO kick return yards .... and 5 punt returns for a total of 17 yards ... basically what I'm saying is all their scores were set up from our offense.

So out of those possessions 1 TD and 2 FG's from close in is 13 points(I'm fine with that stat).Hold them to 2-3 and outs at midfield and we win 17-13

Yeah IDK the O was playing well as could be expected when I Z'd off

Love Sanders, but we need to go out and sign a FA RB ASAP.Clement looked horrible and Scott is a scat back

Why does it seem as soon as you give a guy a big contract he starts to suck?
