He didn't have Dickerson beside him,he probably had to cover a bit there

Pass rush finally showed up late. I was surprised it was missing most of the game. When you have a NEW PS QB I would think teeing off would be a no brainer

https://www.nflmockdraftdatabase.com/big-boards/2022/consensus-big-board-2022  I would be extremely happy if we got those first 3 picks. Now the question is, Hurts has shown some flashes of competency and some flashes of bonehead. Will he play well enough after this to trust him as our QB in '22? IDK, I hope the FO has a plan and goals for Hurts that he needs to meet other than "he's a nice guy the players like". I thought he did better last night, but still need to see more than 1 read. I liked that he opted for the pass first. IDK if that was him or Siri's play calling. BTW someone must have talked to Reagor. It seems he took his job more seriously last night

I did not, but I wasn't paying much attention to the line lol

I'd be overjoyed with that draft

Now figure the odds of Howie picking 2 defensive players with those 1st round picks..

More likely he'll waste 2 of the 3  and package them together to get a QB. There's not a QB in this draft worth 3 1st rounders IMO

Didn't get to see any of the game due to basketball.  I thought they moved the game to Tuesday so that Washington would have their QB?    Is he hurt?

I see the defense again giving up less than 18 points.  I think for the Eagles, we have to go back quite a ways for this many games of giving up fewer than 18 points.

Maybe any questions about the coaching can be put to bed.  They have a formula for beating the teams that they should by running the football.   Now we build on that when it comes to beating good teams, which we may actually have to play against some day?

1- Wilson-WR OSU   1-Gardner-CB-cincy   1- Dean -LB Georgia  2- Jermaine Johnson-Edge-FL st(and georgia)  3-Bryan Cook-S -Cincy ( Like Briske here also,r but he will be gone by then)  These 5 would be an immediate upgrade at their respective positions

Slim LOL I did this assuming we ride with Hurts again, which is a "who knows" moment with Howie at the helm

Unfortunately, I can see this play out. I am not a Hurts fan(duh) but he is starting to show some signs of improving,at least his decision making. Still not happy he is a 1 read weak arm QB, but we have so many hole to fill (except IMO we are fine at RB) I

Also the deeper talent this draft at egde, and S meant I could take them in 2, 3 and still get an upgrade

I hope we keep Ward, he plays hard and is a viable BU who can still impact the game if he has to be put in

Goedert made some terrific plays and had some terrific drops. IDK what's wrong on this team. Drops have been an issue for 5 years. I understand it happens, but we really need to make an effort to clean that up

He and Watkins catch everything thrown near them.

So does Smith  which is why i wouldn't be too disappointed if they didn't take another WR in the 1st

Reagor looked serious last night. That was my big knock on him. Perhaps we see solid play from him now? IDK. After losing JJ (or should I say handing the Vikes JJ on a platter) Wilson would be a great asset opposite Smith, with Reagor and Quez shifting in and out as needed. Ward as BU or "special play" guy. The WR corps would be set for awhile and they would make Hurts look better too lol

Also Gardner and Cook play together right now. Seems to me that would speed up the process/shorten the time frame because they are used to playing together right now. But WTH do I know?

My take- WE played against a depleted team and won easily as we should have. We did start out poorly, but that could have been the fact they did not play for 16 days and had no practice since Friday. Hurts started out poorly but played very solid in the 2nd half. Made some nice throws and DID actually have some 2nd, 3rd and even I saw a 4th read once! His timing still needs work but the INT was not his fault and if Dallas doesn't drop those two passes his stats look impressive.

Defensive Front worries me. They are not getting the pressure they should have. What I thought a weakness has actually played solid this year (CB). This O-Line is the best in the NFL. Kelce was a freaking animal last night! I think he runs faster than Miles! You all see the Play they brought Slay in for? LOL

LOL, You will have WR in that first slot right up to Draft day!  Most disagree but I am not going to argue the point. Been there done that...

I would love Edge with that first pick, Then CB or S then LB or WR with the third. Also want a DT.....

It was a good win for us Geodart looks every bit of a top TE even if he needs to sure up the drops. Sanders ran strong, Hurts was solid.

I mean yea we beat a Skins team riddled with injuries starting a QB that been with them for 5 days but we can’t control those things can only beat who is in front of us

Agreed on the D line. They are counting on them to get prssure but that isn't gonna happen often without at least the threat of an occasional blitz.

i don't expect Gannon to be JJ. He could scheme an unblocked blitzer.

It appears Gannon just ocasionally sends an extra rusher and hopes for the best.

Yes! LOL my first thought was the announcer "there goes Slay in motion" had no clue what he was talking about. Then I saw Slay out with O.

Sure looked like it confused the D

How many games have we given up less than 18 points?   Without the impressive DL.   Very hard to criticize defensive results ... all be it vs the schedule that they have played.

It's been about a decade since we've had an aggressive DC.    Results were still good when we had the DL that was a top one.  Maybe instead of looking for coaching to make up for lack of talent, we look to get in better talent?   Just an idea.

Hehe. You should send that Idea to Howie. He seems to forget there are 2 sides of the ball

Damn has it been that long since JJ that makes me sad 😞

Not sure I can really complain about Gannon to much as a DC hell the entire coaching staff really yea we had some hiccups took them some time to adjust to being coordinators but both Siri and Gannon seem to have come into there own.
