Why does it seem as soon as you give a guy a big contract he starts to suck?

Love to see Sanders and Freeman together. Obviously without Sanders we are one dimensional and without Lane that doesn't work either. So JP,lane and Sanders are the whole team.We win or lose based on the health of those 3 guys

I'm out

Watching Goff run the gameplan we should have run is super frustrating.

We couldn’t stop Barber in short yardage

That was a weak effort by Ertz on that fourth and three play. Hit him right in the hand.....

Keeping Avery over Miller and Ostman was a mistake. He was nonexistent against the run.

Why didn’t we move the pocket more?

Their defense ate up all our screens

SO we held them to FG's on the times they were close, but we couldn't stop them from the 50 twice.ok got it

Yeah, they scored ZERO when they started from their own side...

14 after Wentz threw his 2 INTs    .... 6 (both FGs) after we turned it over on downs  .... the other TD was after we lost 16 yards and the punt didn't make it across midfield.    Our offense was the genesis of all their scoring.

So here are Washington's 5 scoring drives....

45 yards   TD
20 yards  TD
26 yards  FG
48 yards TD
20 yards FG

5 scoring drives..... total of 159 yards????

prior to that they had 5 drives for 98 yards and zero points.    They even started off the half with a 3 and out losing 10 yards ....   The Eagles offensive mistakes not only gave them life, but they were like giving them food and drink and a place to sleep to go with it.   Wash ended up with only 239 yards of offense.   Go watch the game first and then tell me what you think.  Better than assuming things

The only silver lining. The Cow itches just lost to the Rams. I was really disappointed in the lezafaiir Presser from Peedy...the I gotta do a better job BS. I'm gonna stop beating this dead horse.

I gotta be honest, I don't watch that stuff... Seth Joyner for laughs when they lose, but that's about it.    Especially week one when there was the Tampa/ Saints game on,   Tampa still looks to have issues to where QB play might not be the big difference.  Putting up points like with Winston, but still giving up a ton.  Saints are my favorite in the NFC.    Ham's 49ers off to a tough start. Tough to repeat success.

As far as injuries go ... hopefully we are past the " well everyone has injuries thing"   It has been worse for the Eagles, anyone who denies it now is an idiot.

Just re-watched the game. I am a really big fan of Wentz, but he sucked today. The loss falls HEAVILY on his shoulders, NOT the coaches. Wentz HAS to realize he is on his 2nd and then 3rd STRING RG AND RT! He cannot wait for plays to develop in those situations. He had some outlets that he didn’t take on at least three of those sacks. The interception at the end of the half was a bad throw GIVEN the situation. The second interception was a horrible throw! He needs to take ownership for the interceptions AND most of the sacks period; learn from it; IMPROVE.

Without Lane Johnson, the Eagles look awful. I preach O Line more than any position. Rough day. Wentz, help your OLine more. Get rid of the freaking ball much quicker.

At least the Cowpies lost. Made Sunday not a complete bust.

Or you could have the coaches realize the same thing?   Maybe not keep calling plays where he has to stand in the pocket and take hits.... maybe get that Waashington offense had zero going for it at the time... run the clock out in the first half, at least on the first play to get it moving then see if it's worth going for a 20 or 24 to ZERO score of just keep the shutout and weak mindset for the Washington offense at the half. Nothing good comes from a 9 yard out at that time.  If you are gonna pass... max protect and take a deep shot, then hit a dump off pass or something.  5 guys running intermediate routes when your OL is struggling... not a good idea.

BTW... the idiot coach in Dallas isn't any better than the previous guy.  Our division is awful.

Sen, I'm curious to see any all 22 on this.  I've been saying since seeing them live twice last year... it looks like Wentz takes a short drop to make a quick throw, yet the WRs are not coming out of their breaks, not looking for the ball ... or not getting open yet.  Too many routes in the middle of the field where he can't just throw a timing route, he needs the WR to be looking first.  The play to Goedert is an exception... see how he threw it nice and early with touch, very easy to do there knowing it was to open spaces, but unfortunately too many of our plays are designed to where he can't throw it in those areas that aren't occupied.   Also, either he needs to take deeper drops or his intereior OL needs to stand up earlier and keep those guys from penetrating as deep.  Nothing seems easy for him, when he gets a chance like the one to Goedert he usually delivers.  I'd like to see Doug make it a little easier for him.

Don't we have a New Medical staff this season we had an analyst that monitored the previous medical staff for a year This ongoing injury problems is an issue . I put this loss on Doug and his coaching staff. No creativity or adjustment after the early scripted plays. Let's get these ugly games out early. I hope Doug can figure this out.

To be fair the soft tissue injuries are more on the strength and conditioning staff.

The medical staff would only get them after they're injured.

We didn't get the game here. Curious if Mailata looked as bad as we were afraid he would.

Just ugly second half.... Just can’t have that no excuse to blow a 17 point lead ever.

Wentz has to learn to give some plays up didn’t get to watch the whole game but I seen at least 2-3 sacks he could have avoided by just getting rid of the ball but instead tried to make the defender miss and we lost 10 yards

On the flip side Geodart not helping Ertz any in contract talks... He looked like the far superior TE. No doubt helps that Ertz commands attention.

Think the Cards are going to be a fun sleeper team this year in the NFC not sure how far they will go but could see them sneak into the playoffs though think inexperience will cost them if they do.

He played 18 snaps and was fine. Gave up one pressure. Moved the pile in the run game.

I think he is definitely the swing tackle at this point. Driscoll had too many mistakes. He messed up an assignment that led to a sack, missed a block that contributed to another sack and was miserable in the run game. I think he needs to get stronger to be able to move DEs out of the way before he can be considered a full-time player, but he has potential.

Mailata makes us much better in the run game, and I doubt he hurts us much in the pass game. For his first real game ever, it went about as well as can be expected.

With JJAW and Hightower struggling, I think Ertz will be here for a while. The team's best four skill position guys are Ertz, Goedert, DJax and Ward, with Reagor limited to only the Z receiver spot right now.

I don't know why JJAW never got any looks, but it's stupid to keep playing him if Wentz never looks his way.

I never seen Ertz leaving this year but his future here could be limited definitely not likely to get the contract he likely wants
