Well this is a tricky one so if the dolphins win tonight the Eagles can lock up playoffs with a win next week vs WFT. Though Dolphins win hurts our draft pick from them.

If Saints win we can’t lock up playoff spot unless other things Happen with a WFT win think it said Saints and SF would have to lose

The question will come down to when they have to win with the arm we seen Wentz win with his arm even when Taylor is have a rough night. Will Hurt be able to do the same when our ground game isn’t working.

Giants probably have been the best example of last couple weeks first game and the first half of the 2nd. Our offense was in shambles ground game wasn’t working and hurts passing was dreadful. We lucked out the Giants offense couldn’t capitalize on either game really. We can’t afford to play like that vs playoff caliber teams

Agreed on most points. I think  we saw Siranni efforts in the first half of play yesterday to win with Hurts arm. Siranni refused to blame the team having a slow start because they played on Tuesday or the fact there was no practice time with the extremely quick turnaround game Fortunately the GMen D forced us into more passing attempts which Hurts needs. Stronger Teams will force Hurts to win with his arm . Hurts is gonna have to continue to evolve as a passer.

As far as That POS Wentz..." Howie took Wentz job....more B. S . With the Wentz apologist"...Wentz was sitting on 150 million  dollar contract if that doesn't say you are my #1 guy What does. But it speaks to how The privileged  in this country act. Why would you need to earn your money if you see yourself as entitled. Lol.

You mean guys like Kaepernick? Or maybe JP, who held the fact we were hurting at T hostage when we wanted to pay him G money(to play G) to force us to pay him again as a T? So once you "earn your money" you are supposed to reject it? Isn't that why we have rook deals in place to see who "earns their money?"

It's week 16, how much practice time do you need now? Isn't everyone pretty much understanding the plays by now? I thought they put that to rest by their super short week performance. I was pleased to see the running game keeping the defense OFF the field (oh wait more hate from me HAHAHAHA).Hurts is a RB who can throw, that is reality. His arm strength(or lack of) is why we play the way we do. Siri is doing a good/better) job now of game planning (oh more hate from me HAHAHAHA).We won't see 60 yard bombs from Hurts but I would like them all to extend the routes farther downfield. When we need 8 yards, the receivers need to run 10 not 7, causing another 3 and out. I'm fine with the RB room, see no reason to even draft another one(please keep Howard here on a 2-3 year deal)

Remember without that POS Wentz 2017 never would have happened and that POS got us a 1st round draft pick

I hope we can get more POS's just like him

This should be an interesting game!!! After seeing the Wuss linemen throwing down against each other, is this team capable of NOT imploding? We didn't face Heinke game 1(who is not great, but better than a 3rd stringer they brought in 6 days before we played them) and if I recall(could be wrong) Gibson was also out? So thats 2 fairly major pieces we didn't have to play before. I want to see us beat them up early,if we can do that they will implode. In fact we started the implosion when we ran amok on them. We made them look silly and Dullaz flat out embarassed them. SO now let's do what we did vs their top of the line. That will cause big time issues in the Wuss FO LOL

You sure about that?  have you seen the Cardinals free falling or Stafford's play in between highlight reels?  I don't see any reason the Eagles can't beat Dallas at home on 2 weeks.  Packers should have lost to Balt and/or Cleveland and the eagles are easily playing better than those two squads right now.

Packers should not have lost to either of them. They are peaking at the perfect time. So now as a GB FO member WTH do you do? DO you re-sign ARod, or move on with Love? If they move on I can see Arod in NO throwing bombs to Thomas all night long and having Kamara at RB surely doesn't hurt. Not sure NO has the loot to pull that off. Or Arod may simply retire. He got the record he wanted to get. We shall see

Welp if Hurts is the guy moving forward hope the Eagles get this man the best QB coach available in the off-season he still needs to take MASSIVE strides as a passer

Great calls, both of them. Now when you call tackle eligible the defense has to scheme for them. Now you have a good decoy in place. It's a pity noone thought about this before now (HAHAHAHAHA). In both cases there was a HUGE lead, neither team needed to run this play, but they did for the above reason and you heard it here first!!!!(ok I had the Mailman instead of Lane, but whatever). And Joe, you may be right about him,but you need to erase these nasty thoughts from your mind because it will never happen LOL

I mean... they needed those great calls to win.  Without them the 3rd string QBs would rally their teams to win.  These calls are what will make us a SB winner.

Nah they both had HUGE leads, it was merely trying out a gimmick play to see if it worked(both DID) Same as the Philly special. Now in a tight game if we call it the D needs to cover them. We now have a decoy play in place. Didn't the Philly special makes us SB winners? Sorry Joe,but this play will be added to most teams play books. Did you see Lane and Steele smile? Your job is better and you try harder when there are FUN elements added. Still like to see the smile on Mailata's face when he trucks a D lineman(or 3) from the GL ala "the fridge". Just hand him the ball and GTH out of the way he's coming through. I hope that Siri also has a plan to defend this play from others

I'm looking forward to the look on Mialata 's face too... it means he is playing in the Superbowl!

Eagles are playing 3rd string QBs.... we've seen this story since the SB.  Every year the conference and division stinks... 9 games makes the playoffs, same story.  We make fun of Dallas for same stuff.   It is what it is.

3rd string Qb's is the reason a pretty average defense suddenly has Gannon looking like a superstar.  But that doesn't explain the mauling this OLine has put on some of the better defensive fronts in football including the WFT, Saints and Broncos.  Lions and Gmen are pretty awful teams but they are actually not bad defensively up front.  What the eagles are doing on offense they can do to anybody in the playoff field.

Went out for lunch. Rode my Burgman. It's Dec 27th and it's 74 in NC lol (YIKES). Seems like like FL which suits me fine!!!

O line has been playing better since about week 12, when Siri discovered what we all knew, that we could RUN the BALL against Luries"we need to pass more" BS. They played ok before, but the change from the "college offense" to the pro level has really paid off. They are opening holes for the RB's instead of staying back to protect Hurts (that used to take 6 seconds to make a decision).Very happy with the new tandem of Mailata and Dickerson. I'm glad we drafted a STARTER and that we are finally pounding the rock like we should have done from the start. Gannon does fine with what LITTLE talent we gave him(as we always did with Schwartz too)

The new norm.

You look at this team. We have one of the best OL(if not the best) we have the best ground game in football(this isn’t a debate it’s facts right now). A D that has been better then serviceable in recent weeks actually think we are allowing the least points since like week 8(though take this with a grain of salt when you look at the QBs we have faced).

Really the biggest thing going to hold this team back is the passing attack

When the other team gives you the ball right back, it's a little easier to run the ball.

They ranked our Oline as third in the NFC East
