My biggest fear is Howie will package our 3 1st round picks to get Pickett

Not that i don't like Pickett but i don't like him that much

yeah especially now that our high draft picks have all tanked. Indy winning+ Miami winning+us winning=draft loser. Down to 19,20,23 now

1-19-Gardner-CB Cincy(If I have to use some late draft picks to move up or a pick next year I would-projected to go at 17)  1-20-DeMarvin Leal-DE (can also play DT if needed) 1-23- Nakobe Dean-LB-Georgia round 2- Daxton Hill/Jordan Battle-S(either one) round 3-John Metchie-WR- Bama (I am doubtful he lasts until 3 so I will probably have to change this one. Very tough because I just cant see Howie investing a round 1 pick on a CB,although IMO he needs to do it. You could easily switch Leal to pick 1 since we pick back to back at this point. This would probably set better with Howie although there is little difference other than the 5th year option. Now that our picks have tanked this low, 93's trade back scenario becomes much more realistic for me. If I can trade Reagor to the Raiders for another 2 pick you can bet I pull that trigger(and get a better WR)

Use two and trade back with one of them is my thinking. I’m really high on day two of the draft. So I’m bigger picture thinking. Three or four quality guys out of the first two days of the draft would be a huge jolt of youth to this franchise.

My thoughts also. IDK what we have to do, but I want Gardner on this roster. Sadly I fear CB will be another year on the back burner as usual. Pitiful

 

They need to expand the draft to 10 rounds,106 players per roster to handle all the covid absences. Stupid  🙄

Somehow I made the finals in both of my leagues..... I think the commisioner made a mistake on one league. Had 8 play-off teams in a 10 team league. I finished 8th so should not have been in lol. I had 2nd most points scored in the league but everyone had their best weeks when they played me. So in Playoffs beat the #1 and the #3 seaded teams so far... Now playing #5 seed for all the marbles.

Usually I have 12 in my private league. 8 make it in, but only had 10 this year, but kept the 8 team format the same to let more players play. Week 1 of the playoffs the 8 seed took out the#1 seed LOL. GL in the finals,I lost even though I was favored by 21

  Madden Lived next door to my best friend Vic back in the 1960's. Vic told me Madden would just walk in the back door to the kitchen, grab a cup of coffee and sit down talking about anything that came up. He was laid back, down to earth guy who got along with everyone....

    He made Football fun for people who knew nothing about it. Loved those two....

You should join my private league. It's a blast. I have custom scoring to make it more accurate. I give out a cheap plastic trophy(engraved). But bragging rights are priceless

that, my friend, is the big issue!  Do not pass on the Jeffersons or Chins or the Parsons if they are on the board! Heck we could have picked Kupp in the 3rd round that year because we were before LA! Think about it, Kupp, Jefferson, Chin and Parsons. What do you think this team would be like with those four?

Actually, I believe I was one of the first to get this.  I was set to do a DJ job at a big club on Fort Myers Beach(Lani Kai). It was under a tiki hut and usually 2,000 people there. I had DJ friends and we would call each other in pinches and sub. So something came up(I was showing my house then) and I called my 38 year old buddy to cover for me. He was one of the first to contract covid in March of 2019 when we had no clue what this was. I assume he contracted it the at the job I should have been at(lots of college kids and tourists). I can't say that for certain, but i still feel the pain. He passed away at 38,and I have to live with it every day. It should have been me 😞. I felt terrible myself for about 8/9 days,so I believe it hit FL pretty early on. But I'm here FWIW
