From what I am seeing on the play by play Hurts is starting to grow as a decision maker,looking to QB first,not be a running back

Reagor(sorry) is useless as a WR. Keep him around for ST's but really we need an impact player opposite Smith

I really hoped we would have a better start in Wash..Always the hard way with these Birds.

So at the time I started posting this... 14 passes and 14 runs.   Now it's 15 and 15.   Hurts 142 yards passing...we have 56 yards rushing.    

Passing is working better. .neither are emphasized... it's exactly half.

U On point Joe.I was thinking the stat within the stat. So we have been run heavy the last 7,games I haven't looked up the attempts ... 175 yds rushing average over seven games is exceptional. Hurts passing attempts continues to increase like today 50-50 Pass-Run. To me a greater emphasis on passing the ball instead of just trying to shove the run game down their throats.

Dude, the rushing stats are overblown due to the horrible offenses we have faced.   It skews everything.  You keep getting the ball back right away and you can keep running.   It didn't work this way in the 1st half because Washington was actually playing offense.

IDK what the words "balanced attack" mean. I mean I know what they mean but why do you need that every game? Depends on who you are playing. If I am playing a team with a formidable D line and I can pass for 450 yards,then thats what I do. 'Balanced attack" is overblown. Do what WORKS. If I can run the ball for 250 yards,then I do that. Coaches know who/what they are up against(or should). I saw some growth(finally) from Hurts. Still not where I want to be,but it was small progress 

Nice win, still not impressed, they were missing Gibson who is a major gun in their offense. With having to account/stop him I don't think we win this game either/ YAY we beat up another team missing key players. Should have won this by double digits. We're going to SLOP our way into post season(pathetic)
