I have been tough on Jalen Hurts all year and I will continue to be tough on him until he becomes a better passer then he is runner.

But he should have done enough to get another chance next season and if that is the case if I’m Philly and I’m Jalen Hurts I’m doing everything and anything I can to improve my passing. He needs to get through progression faster he doesn’t have the best arm so he has to become more accurate, footwork etc. the arm strength doesn’t concern me as much if Hurts can learn to anticipate throws. Drew Bree’s never had a plus size arm but he was still one of the best deep ball throwers I’ve ever seen. So it’s possible

I don’t want a running QB I want a QB that can pass but had the ability to run best example now might be Russell Wilson

Hurts also needs to stop running at first sign of trouble needs to do better keeping his eyes down field been times he took off and ran when he had a play down field he could have made with his arm.

And yes these are nitpicky things for a young QB but for Hurts to be elite these are the things he needs to get better at

I'll take Huntley for the Ravens

I mean I don’t get to make the calls but we got Hurts and likely have hurts for next season so I’m just saying what he needs to focus on to be our guy of the future.

I really don’t wish for players to fail but I’m also not going to act like they don’t have massive flaws. I didn’t do it for Wentz in 2020 and all the things he was doing and I won’t do it for Hurts this year or future years. Can even go way back to Mcnabb if you want(yes I’m pretty young don’t go back further then Mcnabb lol)

You mean like Brandon Brooks? Brandon Graham? Those type guys being out.

How do you have time to respond to all of the remarks that disagree with your opinion? Gotta say Im impressed by that. Haha. I would just get too exhausted. You and Trinni are all in on Hurts. The rest of us are not. Seems simple enough. Mic drop! 😳

It's not nitpicking at all... this is basic stuff, like dribbling for a point guard.

The railing broke,  somehow Hurts showed the poise of Princess Diana through it all, and thus will be a hall of fame QB.    This is perfect scenario for what some people have been doing this year with Hurts.    I've heard he folds his laundry similar to how guys like Wayne Gretzky and Michael Jordan did.

I'm old. TY for your thoughts. it's truly been a K-R A-P new years. One friend I have know for 61 years. So I was helping her granddaughter with arrangements, then after losing her GMA(my friend) she lost her dad 6 days later. Life sucks

I'm really sorry to hear that! I know my family have now stopped with the old line "Happy new year, this one's going to be better for us all" because it never seems to be.

Then consider whether these guys will participate in the Senior Bowl. Pretty sure I remember some guys opting out of their teams bowl game but yet playing and all those practices for the Senior Bowl showcase.

If a player opts out of any Bowl game, they should not be able to participate in the Senior Bowl. Not sure why they allow it......

I saw signs of this Sunday. I admit I have been hard on Hurts this year. Rightfully so, but he has made some progress since week 1. In any event, I feel he deserves another year at this point. Sunday was his best game by far this year.

On another note, an Indy loss next week will give us 2 picks in the top 18.... Would not mind seeing a Miami loss too....

Hard on Hurts as well, but I lightened up ALOT when we finally rid ourselves of the stupid college offense.Either siri,Hurts or both have finally graduated into the big leagues. Now we can see if Hurts actually progresses or not. Any fool can run around a backfield, but now he has to go through the stages to because a professional QB. So I think alot of my Hurts bashing had to do with the style(college) we were playing. I want to see Hurts in the weight room ALL off season and to work on multiple reads. I think it was week 12(or 11) when I saw the shift away from the college BS. That's when the running game got established, that's when we took the game OUT of Hurts' hands and now he needs to develop as a passer. Jury out yet,but he's not running around taking sacks or throwing picks. We shall see

Day 657 of 15 days to slow the spread. It depresses everyone. I will be shocked the day anyone in govt tells the truth. If you ever wondered if you would have complied in 1930's Germany, now you know

Off topic. You older guys will get this one. But this messed with my head awhile. The time span from to today back to 1980, is the same time frame as 1980 to 1939

So this years SB winner will be any team that can put 22 guys on the field at the same time

What I’ve been understanding is a real possibility this season the whole time. Could be extremely crazy! But maybe all our bad injury history pays off with better fortunes this year. Important to get in the tourney to have any chance though.

This guy was supposed to be one of the rich owners????   Wtf happened to that situation with the crappy stadium???  Miss the glory days of this division... but it's pretty bad when even the stadium sucks...lol

Built that stadium real big. Supposedly unbelievable luxury box sections. The rest is just crap….or stupid designs.

Because right now from what I’ve seen of this team last few weeks is we start slow. Love seeing fans complaining we aren’t running even though we have an even split.

Opposing team doesn’t capitalize on us results of playing other terrible teams something breaks our way get a lead and can just keep running the ball which eventually wears teams out.

Now top approach is all good and great but again the question becomes what happens when we can’t start slow I don’t think the Rams or Bucs will have issues scoring or moving the ball if we struggle for a half.

It’s the playoffs. Need to come out playing a good game. We aren’t good enough to pull some Chiefs like come from behind of 16 points every week to glory. This year’s team…..we have to play a good game to win a playoff game. Pretty much always the way it is.

We need to throw. We need to pass. Being the top rushing team….we shouldn’t have to pass as much. To me….that’s been the obvious.

So what did you see him do this last game? He scrambled avoided the sack and made the throw. Fantastic key plays in the game. I don’t think anybody would argue he’s a finished product at this point. Do you doubt he’ll be dedicated and put in the work to improve?

He’s a gamer that creates problems for Defensive Coordinators. The players back him and believe in him.

We can all agree that Hurts can improve as a passer. Shocker, I know. A second round pick still had things to work on. Everything this guy brings to the table and he keeps improving as a passer…..ohhhhh watch out!

Calm down Ham. Hurts has shown improvement and had a real nice game on Sunday. I feel it was his best. But he is far from a finished product. He has deserved to get another year to see what he can do. It is also great that we get to see him in a play-off game.

OF course what we think matters little. What do the Eagles think?

If the season ended today. Eagles would get the 14th pick thru Miami. Assuming NE beats them next week, this pick could be as low as 11th. Most likely it will be 12 or 13...

Still not too bad for us. I guess we need to route for Jacksonville to beat Indy and give us another top 15 pick......
