Who do you think goes hard after Watson? Washington, Carolina or Denver?

OR New Orleans?

We need to throw. We need to pass. Being the top rushing team….we shouldn’t have to pass as much. To me….that’s been the obvious.

Both things started to happen when we took the game AWAY from Hurts and the college RPO BS. has a long ways to go yet in my view, but changing that is what actually began his learning process. Before that it was just wasting everyones time. IDK if that was a Siri call or if Lurie backed off his "pass more" BS. But whomever made that change got this team to begin the rebuild process and it opened up an actual offense

Has he had his day in court yet??? I can't see anyone shelling out millions then having him jailed. Until this is solved, I see no future for him unless he is willing to play on the cheap until this is over

Sad to see Big Ben in his last home game. Next week he could keep their playoff hopes alive,so you would need to toss Pittsburgh into the FA QB mix. Of course I assume they also draft one,but could also see an off season addition

Miami.

What I’ve been understanding is a real possibility this season the whole time. Could be extremely crazy! But maybe all our bad injury history pays off with better fortunes this year. Important to get in the tourney to have any chance though.

IDK whomever wins the SB will have an asterisk beside it

I believe this late bout of Hurts looking better will give him another year also, which is fine because we need to shopre up the defense and add some linemen and this is a great draft for both. Sorry, but I will remain a Reagor basher,if we want to contend at the top, he needs to go. I was sad to see the WR opt outs,so taking them goes against my principles, but Howie wont have that issue,so I still can;t rule out a top WR in round 1. Trade Reagor off to the Raiders to replace Ruggs for whatever pick we can get. he can't catch or run routes and we can do better

So what did you see him do this last game? He scrambled avoided the sack and made the throw. Fantastic key plays in the game. I don’t think anybody would argue he’s a finished product at this point. Do you doubt he’ll be dedicated and put in the work to improve?

Lmao 🤣 doing it once in a awhile and doing it consistently are two completely different things…. You know why Rodgers Mahomes Wilson are great because they look down field there first instinct is to beat you with there arm and passing before they take off and run that where I want Hurts at.

We can all agree that Hurts can improve as a passer. Shocker, I know. A second round pick still had things to work on. Everything this guy brings to the table and he keeps improving as a passer…..ohhhhh watch out!

If he improves as a passer because there hasn’t been huge gains in 2 years from the games I watch that’s concerning to me.

I acknowledge his ability as a runner but the rest is mediocre at best

That is not Hurts game right now. Our strength is the run game with Hurts . It would help if we had WR's that would consistently get open, perhaps it would encourage him to look downfield. Those guys Rogers, Mahomes, Wilson have WR getting open downfield. Maybe he gets those next year with one of our three first round picks?

This is grand and all but what happens when we have a half like against the giants you think TB or the Rams are just going to sit there and wait for us to get going????

As it stands now of the ground game isn’t working the offense stalls that’s a problem. The ability to hit some easy passes air it out some to help open up the ground game when needed is a most and we haven’t shown to be able to do that yet

And it was why I said they are things hurts needs to improve on if you read my first post about it. And Wilson was doing it as a rookie with nobodies and Mahomes was doing well perform Hill was a house hold name.

And we have guys running wide open Hurts is missing this is my complaint makes it worse you can hear the announcer and watch the replays and see the guys open that hurts missed.

Again all back to the original post was things Hurts needs to get better at drastically and I did state I was nitpicking at his game he had a solid season was lackluster in my opinion as a passer hence the harsh criticism but he made up for some of that with the ground ability . But Look I am of the believe you can’t win in today game without being able to pass and right now our passing game sucks to put it blunt.

Not completely true Trini. First, there were times we had WR's wide open and he never looked their way. Second there were times he over threw them. Last, Rogers, Mahomes and Wilson do not always throw to open Receivers. They anticipate where they will be and allow the WR to fight for the ball if they do not get the separation. This requires accuracy and timing. Plus a little faith they will not allow the INT....

To be fair, I have seen Hurts do that a few times the past couple of weeks to Geodert and Smith. We still need to see more. I feel he has shown strides and deserves another year because of it.

Nah,the issue is Hurts 1 read. Smith has 700 yards, don't tell me he's not getting open

Yeah for awhile we were back in "play 30" mode. Good coaches adjust on the fly not wait until 1/2 time

To Stines point I agree. Hurts will never have a cannon arm but he seriously needs to increase his VELOCITY to get those balls into tight windows accurately(what some would call lasers)

I am totally impressed with Mailiata's growth and Dickerson winning the start in his rookie year. Now my concern shifts to "will Kelce retire" and "Is Lane reliable going forward,is he over his issues"? This leads me to believe we take a IOL fairly high in this next draft if those question remain unanswered. We should probably do it regardless just for the youth infusion. Howie needs to WAKE UP this draft and take a CB or LB(both preferably) in round 1 whether he historically doesn't do it or not. My other round 1 would be a WR or a DL with a S in round 2, maybe an IOL in 3,but as some say Howie likes the shiny QB objects

If this happens and we get some guys back off the BS list, then this will tell me how far away we are from being a competent contender. They WILL expose every weakness we have

I've gotta admit i have a bit of a man crush on Mailata

I liked the Hurts throw to Greg Ward.

I like Greg Ward. No star but he is as solid as they come. Like to see us sign him to a long term(no need to overboard here but....). He's earned it. I hope we are smart enough to sign Howard to a 2 year also. I'm not really a fan of 1 year prove it deals(unless of course you need to prove it). I'm happy we signed Mailata long term. I am never against signing BU's to long term deals either if they are financially viable. it's a nice way to CYA in the event of injury or if you totally screwed up some draft picks and need a filler until you get a re-do. Howie better nail this freakin draft!!! I don't want any BS players we never heard of in the first 3 rounds

Feels like Reagor has become the fourth option now anyway. Quez is number two. Feels like we are better off with Ward than Reagor. That’s all behind what Goedert feeds on at TE.
