Did you see Milton fight through a double team to make the tackle still? We got a heck of a player.

High ankle sprain! That’s not the minor kind of sprain. There are different levels of that type of sprain even if I remember things correctly. Different degrees. We haven’t been just letting it heal. So what are you risking our chances in the playoff game for week 18? What are you really getting out of it? Try and get the top guys running as close to 100 percent as we can. Huge advantage to rest your guys that extra week.

Wasn't sure of the exact injury. If there's high probability of worse injury then no. I'm resting him.

Too bad though. I would love to see him against dullas for the 2nd time.

So many b17ching about Hurts improving as a passer. That he isn’t good enough to be our starter. Yet he’s already the 14th best QB in the league. He’ll continue to improve on his passing game. That’s just obvious with the guys work ethic. So if he takes his passing to the next level where would that rank him?

I think it's definitely a concern... But I also think it's one of those funny little coincidences in the NFL. Like what correlation can there really be?

I’m not really reading that much into this just thought it was interesting to see… I mean the sample size is 5 coaches. And honestly I like a lot of what I see from Siri if he is able to coach and doesn’t have to deal with Howie/Lurie trying to tell him how to coach.

But yes, it absolutely makes sense to me to start Hurts for a must win game against Washington and rest him for a game that means nothing week18. Knowing the next week we need all hands on deck.

Me personally i think you play the starts a qtr. or two not a huge fan of the rest the starters completely. Even more so since we have been starting slow last few games. If we can come out get a score or two in the first 2-3 drives would be a good sign then I’d rest them

Lmao by one persons opinion. Acting like one person makes it that Hurts is the 14th best QB in the league comical

No this doesn’t make sense to me. Shew is a backup to Hurts. If we need to win….I turn to Hurts. Need to beat the Jets and give QB1 two weeks to heal up enough? Then I turn to Shew. To make the playoffs we had to win. So you go with Hurts…..in a more limited fashion. A dialed back Hurts is still a better option than Shew.

Didn't Shew win???? So you're going to sit Hurts when he could get valuable learning in vs the Boyz if we had to face them again in like the semi finals? You would rob him of that experience to set him up for potential failure later when it REALLY counted? Hurts is so good he is at the point he needs dialed back??? WOW This is all news to me

Things did change. Siri got a brain

Right so you are admitting Siri took the game away from Hurts, which is what I stated

OK so lets deny Hurts the experience he may need later reading/ learning the Dallas defense if we have to face the boyz AGAIN later so he can get destroyed in a much more important game. Got it

If Hurts ankle is only minor I would keep him in the fire.

NO NO NO he needs to be "saved" because of the cavernous difference between him and Shew. C'mon man!!!!! Hurts is a STAR!!! didn't you see my post???? 🤣

Let Shew get all pumped up and hulked up for the game. Have at it. Let the leadership guys rest, laugh and enjoy the show.

SO what if Shew blows them away? And scores 45 points. Who starts the rest of the way????? Are you gonna start Shew if there is a NEXT Dullaz game? or put Hurts in who has no experience vs them because you "saved" him before?

If it's a 4-5 week heal why was he only out 1 weeK

They’re supposing our Oline could consist of:

LT Andre Dillard
LG Sua Opeta
C Jack Anderson
RG Brett Toth
RT Le’Raven Clark

Maybe have Juriga in there…

BU's. Why don't we just forfeit this game after the first 15, and save everyone? If they play their starters, maybe after 15 we can apply the mercy rule

Should be the Gainwell show at RB. We have several WR to possibly call up. Would like to get a look at them. Jackson time at TE? Could finally be his breakout moment.
Soooo many DBs to get in the action. Now’s the time. Up things from the practice field. See what we have in the cupboards here. Got a few Dline to get in the action. Probably keep Milton a Go….but add in his draft mate. We got a new guy in the mix this last game. Sweat, Cox and Hargrave rest. Hopefully Bradley is a Go at LB. Great opportunity for him to step in and run things.

SO we're gonna go out there and let our BU's get hurt because they are outclassed,.so when a starter goes down we have noone because they are all beat up from the Dullaz game. Got it (buncha wussies).

I know what you mean but I don't agree. If the Eagles would have missed the play offs this year nobody would have been surprised. I don't think that would be on Sirianni as such. He's shown that he's a decent HC so far with potential and I think he could have done so even if we missed the play offs?

Nobody would have been surprised if they missed the playoffs due to playing starting QBs etc.    When is the last time they were supposed to lose a game?  Denver?

You can't say " the Eagles are better than I thought they were because they won 7 games vs teams in the bottom ten of the league and another two vs teams still in the bottom half of the league that were missing their best players?

The competition you face absolutely makes a difference.   Everyone notices this in every other league or sport..  yet when it comes to the Eagles there is a blindspot?

Absolutely if the Eagles didn't go on this playoff run vs all these injured pathetic teams... it would be a bad reflection on the coaching.   Prime example is how everyone hates this DC whose team hasn't given up an amount of points in a number or games that goes back to 1989.   This from a franchise that had one of the top defenses of all time in 1991.   One loss that would have taken them out of playoffs... you bet the coaching would have been criticized mercilessly.

Ranked 14 playing teams ranked 20 an under. Comical. Of course it was his best game, they had ONE weapon on offense, Pretty easy toi shut that down

With the trash we played Hurts S/B in the the top 5

I play Hurts,if he gets hurt we have Shew, and I know I m in the QB hunt in a the next draft/off season 🙂 next problem. Actually I would walk this back IF we played our starters and let Shew play. Hard to judge him vs the weak Jets,so let's test him out. They both need tested IMO,but it has to be our best vs theirs

image.png.fd36b3a745a2036cb3aef836d417e4a6.pngI found the needed HUNTER GREEN scrubs, just for this game!!!!

My kid saw a meaningless but interesting statistic

If every 1 score game in the NFL this year were reversed the Eagles would be the #1 seed in the NFC ay 11-5

The Bills would be the #1 seed in the AFC at 15-1

Don't ask me who has time to figure this stuff out.

The 49ers, Tampa and Chargers we’re winnable games.  Also that ugly Giants loss.

Not completely true Trini. First, there were times we had WR's wide open and he never looked their way. Second there were times he over threw them. Last, Rogers, Mahomes and Wilson do not always throw to open Receivers. They anticipate where they will be and allow the WR to fight for the ball if they do not get the separation. This requires accuracy and timing. Plus a little faith they will not allow the INT....

To be fair, I have seen Hurts do that a few times the past couple of weeks to Geodert and Smith. We still need to see more. I feel he has shown strides and deserves another year because of it.

I agree Hurts progression, quick recognization and vision is a work in progress. Still late on throws, Holds on to the rock .what you said some of which you expect from 1st yr starters.. Hurts Passing is not a great strength, yet,  but I continue to be encouraged with his progress. So far what I like most about Hurts, he wins, I want to see round 2 against better competition. Better teams, better QB's in the playoffs . He wins in the playoffs this year as a first time starter we'll see what the conversation becomes😃.

Truly the question for me this season.A RUNNING QB has NEVER led a team to a Super Bowl victory. Hurts could change that statement with this OLand a healthier run game Slim chance Sanders could be back. He'll who thought playoffs for this team...I did.  lol..I also think this team knows who they are, their personality will our Running QB have a chance and not just be competitive. I believe we can dominate. I can't wait for them to prove it.

Why. I want Hurts healthy in the playoffs😰 worst case bring him in for a few reps. On the second thought Hell NO. Get the team healthy, Yea we run the risk of some rust . Get the team healthy for the game that matters. I would give The Stache a chance against better competition and let him win the game.
