Because Hurts plays defense. Us not winning vs great QBs is all our QBs fault. If he ran, passed and  COVERED. Then he’d be a legit QB1!

Did I say he would not improve???? I don’t know if he will improve

The guy loves football. Everybody talks about what a hard worker he is. Already improved as a passer over his first offseason. How could you not know if he’ll improve. I agree with Siri…guys like him…reach their ceiling.

Tim Tebow was a hard worker what’s your point

I just don’t think the haters understand what is all happening with Hurts as our leader. The players buy in. They back him. The coaches enjoy working with him. Both sides trust him. His demeanor is infectious. Huge part of what’s taken place this season. He builds up his teammates. What about the X and O stuff? Defensive Coordinators are scared of him running on them. For good reason, he’s killing them! So it puts the defense in much more predictable playcalls. We should be a team that defenses want to man matchup on. But if you do that… you turn your back to Hurts. He’ll gut you! He’s forcing their playcalls snd schemes. Makes things easier for pretty much the whole offense. Heck makes it easier for Siri to playcall. Not sure the haters have considered all these factors.

Tied for fifth on third down conversion. Tampa Bay, Kansas City, Chargers and Buffalo are the only teams better than us at third down conversion. This is the clutch down. I’d say the most important down. Our QB converting at such a high rate on third downs has nothing to do with how good the opposing QB is. It doesn’t go down because the opponent was missing their star RB. Just means he gets it done!

A big concern I have for Hurts and this offense is an opponent with a good offense. The Eagles defense is maybe average. Forget the stats. They have played against some atrocious offenses lately padding their stats. So the Eagles offense will have to match a good offense. Remember, in the playoffs the refs stay out of the game. Olines hold more. DBs dont get called for PI and holding nearly as much. So i predict an opponent will put 7 in the box and stop the run. What WR besides Goedart can win? Smith will get mauled with a pro bowl CB in the playoffs. The Eagles need Watkins to really be a factor and Hurts is going to have to play MUCH better. I hope he (Hurts) can. I just don’t see it happening. And Cunningham, I do agree that the team rallies behind Hurts and that is awesome. But HIS talent, or lack thereof, will prove to be something that his teammates and coaches can’t overcome.

Does anybody think ANY of the stars play in this game Saturday evening? Kelce, Cox, Slay are in street clothes if Im coaching. Cannot believe they made the playoffs. Cunningham has to be laughing his head off at us/me. Good on you Cunningham. You deserve to brag a little. I had them winning 4 games this season.

I do think they will get blown out in the playoff game, but stranger things have certainly happened.

I think they were missing their WR Thomas also….to be thorough.

Drew Brees retired on them last season. They did have that going against them also.

So if we were playing in the playoff game, and both Hurts and Minshew couldn't play.... that has no effect?   This is basically what you are saying.

I'm saying, it's just a fact that we haven't played a team in the top half of the NFL since November 7th, when we lost for the 6th time out of 6 games vs an opponent with a winning record.

I'm paying guys to play 17 weeks not 16. If you want to "opt out" like they do in college, fine, refund that weeks paycheck or donate it to charity if you want to be a wuss. Shew is just as good as Hurts,so what's the big deal? It's not like Shew is a UDFA scrub. We won a  SB with a BU REMEMBER??????? What the hell ever happened to "We're from Philly and we fight?" Change the logo to a pink chicken

It's called BIG picture 😂..you want a Regular season Championships or to be as Healthy as possible for the games that matter....hmmmmmm....Tough one there. I get the Old School thoughts...hmmmmm Hell I'm old School...Lol Rest them bro.get healthier, be ready for the game that counts.

Without there starting QB your right I see a trend Hurts can’t beat starting QBs

Here is one for you... if Matt Ryan doesn't play next year,  it's very possible that the Eagles will have 10 wins, with ZERO coming against a starting QB in 2022.

Idk.. I thought in 1991 when the Eagles had their best defense in franchise history, we didn't make the playoffs because of injuries to both Cunningham and Jim McMahon.   But that obviously isn't correct as Ham is educating me that QBs don't really matter.  It was no excuse when we had to pull guys off the street to play QB.

Don't worry...the time for guessing and analysis is coming to an end. We are gonna play Real Teams, Real QB...and as far as the BS that Hurts ain't good enough...Y'all should stop. I am not even gonna debate the point.Playoffs are coming...Time for analysis is gonna be seen on the field of play. I can't wait to hear the NEW reasons then.😂

Rams 27.2 points per game.

Packers 26.2 points per game.

Eagles 26.1 points per game.

The divide actually isn’t that wide

I’m just saying these ‘starting QBs’ you are just weeping for our opponents missing weren’t so great. Wasn’t like beating the Pack without Rodgers. You’re arguing that about Jameis Winston out. I’d argue their third stringer Trevor Simeon might be a better option.

But really my only argument is we have improved since the first half of the season. For a new young team….pretty obvious thing….to grow.

As of yes, Washington would be 8-8 if we didn’t sweep them. Falcons would be 8-8 if we didn’t beat them. Saints would be 9-7. So we were a factor in that.

Of coarse the Raiders would be 8-8 if we beat them. So if we won you’d still say that. Chargers would be 8-8 also. We went toe to toe. But if we won….you’d just say they suck. Broncos would be 8-8….but we beat them.

Yea I forgot how the D ties the game at 7-7 vs Dallas after a Hurts int, our next 6 drives end in punts and Int returned for a (TD).

The defense holds Dallas to 20 points and scores more points then our offense in over a half a play.

But no no no that isn’t the offenses fault forgot it’s all the defense

So KC and TB beat us. Last year’s Super Bowl. Is this really the basis of any point? Or is it that Dallas is having a fantastic season(puke….but true). The only three teams you’d consider that don’t suck we played.

Want to look at the Bucs game next???

14-7 game until the offense throws a pick Bucs go up 21-7… Then we punt then we get an interception on D but we go 3 and out and punt.

But completely the defenses fault

It was the offense fault plenty in that game. Siri had his head up his butt. His gameplan was awful. Basically let’s play Dallas game and try to beat them at it. So dumb the coaching there.

Want me to use the raiders???

7-0 lead to start the game defense gets an int but we punt then next drive we punt then we fumble…

Always the coaches fault not the fact our players Hurts included are not executing because I watched that game plays were available

Offense did pretty well in that game. Lane was out. Mailata played hurt at RT and got owned. Dickerson struggled badly trying to pass block. Was this his first game at LG? The Bucs O just stayed on the field soooo much. Brady picked us apart. Antonio Brown killed us.

Lmao again I love how you use the injuries as an excuse for us but blow them off when we beat the Saints the double standards with you

But Hurts got us within one score in the Bucs game. D just couldn’t get a stop. How much time did Brady run off to end that game? Felt like forever.

It no out offense was terrible via the Bucs final score makes the game look closer then the reality of that game.

Bucs had 11 drives(one drive was at the end of the half they took a knee with 30 secs)

we had 10 drives

Whats the difference Bucs Bucs offense moved the ball we didn’t
