I just don’t think the haters understand what is all happening with Hurts as our leader. The players buy in. They back him. The coaches enjoy working with him. Both sides trust him. His demeanor is infectious. Huge part of what’s taken place this season. He builds up his teammates. What about the X and O stuff? Defensive Coordinators are scared of him running on them. For good reason, he’s killing them! So it puts the defense in much more predictable playcalls. We should be a team that defenses want to man matchup on. But if you do that… you turn your back to Hurts. He’ll gut you! He’s forcing their playcalls snd schemes. Makes things easier for pretty much the whole offense. Heck makes it easier for Siri to playcall. Not sure the haters have considered all these factors.

What about the Jets game?   Is it easy to see the competition was the big factor in that game... being that Hurts didn't play?     For most of us, that's all the same... for you it seems like you are missing this obvious factor when it comes to the other games since the Chargers?

I haven’t been saying we’ve been beating the SB champs. Never said that. Understood the schedule. Said before the season started the best chance for us was to improve and catch fire late taking advantage of the schedule. Still doesn’t change how we found our identity and improved. We became a dominant physical rushing team. Ditched Wilson at LB for Edwards. Wilson was known for being soft and missing tackles. Edwards known for being a punishing tackler.

Lane wasn’t himself to start the season. Then missed three games. Came back and has played much better. Is that all because of the competition? I don’t think so. I think he came back reinvigorated and focused. Very natural run blocker also.

Goedert and Stoll really good run blockers.

Dickerson had no TC. Was struggling when forced into the lineup to pass block. Vita Vea actually lifted him. Run blocking gave Dickerson confidence. More natural for him.

Mailata is a natural run blocking as well.

Just changed the whole dynamic having our big Oline guys attack the defense …..vs going backward pass blocking.

Sure the schedule was easier the second half of the season. I don’t deny that. Not sure why you are denying we had new coaches and young players that it would take time to get things going. Our D was terribly bland for the first half of the season. That wasn’t because of the opponent. It took time to develop. Gannon didn’t even have a Dime package at the time and was running Wilson as our main LB. Wilson isn’t even on the team now. Can’t you see that?

Why was the whole crowd and fans everywhere dogging, booing or cheering(when we actually did) Siri about running the ball? Everybody saw it. We obviously should have been a dominant rushing team. It was borderline criminal what Siri was doing early on. But you just think we weren’t running the ball because of the competition?

There was a pretty wide spread theory that the FO was MAKING Siri pass pass pass. It was that obviously flagrant. Not what we’ve been doing since. Our offensive gameplan was not good….it just didn’t make sense. Was that helping or hurting us you think? Are we better having established our identity? Seems obvious to me we are. Not what we were doing the first half of the season though.

The Bucs are down to Mike Evans for WRs. Slay on him and Harris on Gronk. Contain the run. Arians is not a good coach, so I don't think much will be done except their quick passing game and attempt to occasionally air one out. Eagles vs Bucs is very winnable.

TB injuries are extensive so basically no excuses as to why we should not beat them.

We have a chance….is all I’m saying. Maddox is scrappy but the size difference in Gronk would be massive.

If indeed you "understood the schedule" then you would understand why we APPEAR to be a dominant rushing team. We have a good O line and faced less than stellar D lines. Some games when we faced good D lines they had no offense, which keeps those defenses gassed late. So what you say is actually redundant,if you understood the schedule you can see how many of our stats are skewed, even the lame record that got us backing into the playoffs

It's the only way this team wins, when the opponent is beat up and missing key players. We've been doing it all season and how we slopped our way into the playoffs. I do agree it's a winnable game and I imagine we will find out how good our O line really is and if Hurts can do multiple reads and you are also writing off Brate who is a decent enough TE and we'd better cover him. Siri may get schooled on the coaching front and if Brady is hot,we aren't stopping him unless our D is in his face all game.

The biggest issue is still our slow starts…. You think Tom Brady is going to have issues scoring if we keep giving the ball back to him in the first half even with nobody’s at WR???? Definitely can’t do that can LA.

Ground game might be our strength but can’t rely on the ground game if we dig ourselves in a hole during the first half

Yep, can’t possibly win….even if we win. If we win they suck and are injured. If we lose we suck and can’t beat a good team.

We should be able to dominate running the ball. That controls the ToP. Keeps the D fresh. The problems seem to really get us when the D can’t get a stop. They haven’t been giving up big plays. It’s that they let QBs dink and dunk all the way down the field.

I’ll predict it’s some no name guy that makes a few catches for them. Gronk is definitely a problem.

As I said, we need to convert 3rd downs and keep Brady off the field. Bucs will try to stop our running game and force hurts to throw and as we know at times this can be disastrous

TB is a team full of expiring contracts. They are built to try and win it all this year. Not us at all. We are taking on record dead cap. But we have some good youth infused. So our future looks pretty good potentially.

We are the best in the league at converting third downs….well ….behind Brady.

They have some young guys, reminds me of when our young guys stepped up.You can bet they will be ready on game day, they have some time to get schooled under Brady

Everybody tries to stop our rushing game. Still run on them.
