No issues with the way our offense has moved the ball this year, so I am sure we can survive another year. Maybe use some cap for a FA if need be.   Yes, TB's defense is good. But we should be able to run on them. The reason I like this matchup better than Arizona or Dallas is that TB has one WR left and he is hurting. So the defense should match up better against TB than either Arizona or Dallas. Yes they have an aging Brady, who has shown signs of frustration lately.

   I doubt we win either of these options, but I like my chances against TB more so than the others...

I mean I was being generous. But if we want to really dig into the picks since 2010 

Graham, Cox, Lane, Wentz, Barnett, Smith all these picks came before 15

Watkins, Ms2, Dillard, Reagor all these picks came after 16th.

Definitely had much more success picking on the top 15 vs not

My question is can we keep the game close enough to let the ground game pick up. Common trend seems to be that our ground game picks up in the 2nd half which makes sense since you wear teams down. But we can’t keep running if are down 2+ scores going into the 2nd half.

I don't care what happened in one game.  We got the 1st round pick once he played the snaps.  Then we move on with our guy ....he's the best.    We can run on anybody, and Tampa is the perfect matchup.   As for turning the back and getting 150 mil....  two things.... the team doesn't give the player the money, that's the league that sets his value.  If we don't pay it, another team will.   As for turning the back... you see how people see how we need WR.... well, go research a few things about how that was handled here with Kupp,Fulgham etc.  And  few other things.   But it's all good... Hurts is the best, the future...puff that chest out.

The Tampa offense doesn’t have the fire power of the other two teams. At least on paper they would seem like the team we can keep it close for the first half letting us to keeping using the ground game.

I would think most teams have more success picking early than later.  To me I still want the best picks I can get.  We are where we are, let's see what happens.

  GB, I can tell you right now, that I highly doubt HR will spend a 1st round pick on a WR for the third straight year. He never works that way. You an I can argue what should be done all we want. But what we should be doing is what we think HR is gonna do. I am guessing D-Line will be a top Priority, so we can safely say that he is going to draft a DT or DE with that first pick. Maybe the first two. Then I feel he either goes S or CB with our third first rounder unless he trades down. Will he draft a WR round 2? Maybe, but I doubt it. I can see him spending money on a reliable #2 WR in FA.

The Tampa offense has been the most consistent out of the 3.   And they have the best run D in the conference.     You have the experience factor also.    Coaching.     Why wouldn't Dallas , the team we ran all over with backups... or Arizona with their lack of experience be better matchup?

If he's watching the same tape I am he can see Reagor SUCKS donkey balls. I'd trade him If I could. Howie doesn't draft CB's(but I want gardner in a bad way) he doesn't draft LB's either. if  WR is there and he is the BPA you cannot ignore that over hyped Reagor sucks and needs replaced. If we had taken JJ that draft we would not be having this convo

Oh no doubt they need to blitz more, they need to bring pressure often and early and they need to stunt and be clever. You can't really fool Brady with disguises etc as he's seen it all but you've got to get after him. They need Hargrave and Cox to get a lot of interior pressure.

Yeah... I just disagree with all of that.  Evans and those TEs pose the physical problem,  while they throw a bunch of slot WRs that has probably the best QB at using slot WRs that there is. 

Plus ...why do you think we can run on the best run D out of the bunch.   Really, you should want to play Tampa because of the idea that we can pass on then better than the other teams.  Not run.

  We don't have a DE. We need 4. Graham and Sweat. That is it. Cox is old and needs to be replaced. So we have 1 DT and need at least three! LB is almost non existant! CB,WR,DE,DT,LB then fill in with the rest.Maybe we can trade reagor for a pick/player also

Once again Stine we aren't fixing every issue in this next draft,but we can get alot of what we need and "tweak" it the following draft and be good to go or as you said spend a little in FA. I'm just not convinced spending it on a WR with a running QB is the way to go

Stine.... I would absolutely think DL is one of the picks.  I thought that's what they were going to do last year.    And that's one of the picks, not necessarily the first one.   The other 2, anyone's guess.  I would wager we don't make 3 picks in round 1 this year.
