I don't care what happened in one game.  We got the 1st round pick once he played the snaps.  Then we move on with our guy ....he's the best.    We can run on anybody, and Tampa is the perfect matchup.   As for turning the back and getting 150 mil....  two things.... the team doesn't give the player the money, that's the league that sets his value.  If we don't pay it, another team will.   As for turning the back... you see how people see how we need WR.... well, go research a few things about how that was handled here with Kupp,Fulgham etc.  And  few other things.   But it's all good... Hurts is the best, the future...puff that chest out.

Thanks Joe. I honestly loved Wentz bought his shirt would debate all that talk bad about my QB until he turned his back on our team. Stupid crap like loyalty, commitment honest effort, is what I expect from our team leaders. Love what I am seeing from Hurts, not the arm talent I prefer, love his intangibles, Hurts is a winner, wanna see how long he wins this year, wanna see if a Running QB can win in Playoffs. How far can Hurts go. I can't wait...Living in a Eagle Fantasy world.😍😎😇

The Tampa offense has been the most consistent out of the 3.   And they have the best run D in the conference.     You have the experience factor also.    Coaching.     Why wouldn't Dallas , the team we ran all over with backups... or Arizona with their lack of experience be better matchup?

You ask why we would favor TB over the other teams just gave the answer…. TB has been consistent sure but they don’t have Fournette now, don’t have AB, don’t have Godwin. I don’t think it will make that huge a difference since they still have a guy named Brady and he still has weapons in Gronk and Evans but vs the other teams on paper they look like the best matchup

We backed into the playoffs because we didn't play anyone of consequence. We DO seem to be peaking at the right time, still we are over matched talent wise especially on defense. Once again we are the Cinderella underdogs

I would think most teams have more success picking early than later.  To me I still want the best picks I can get.  We are where we are, let's see what happens.

Sure but have they missed every pick outside of the top 15???? I mean I listed the guys who of that list would you call a successful pick.

Joe it sounds fantastic I want the best player so does everyone but is we haven’t been able to do it especially when we are not picking on the top half the draft

Again... research a few things about this " turning the back "  knowledge is power.

Yeah... I just disagree with all of that.  Evans and those TEs pose the physical problem,  while they throw a bunch of slot WRs that has probably the best QB at using slot WRs that there is.

Plus ...why do you think we can run on the best run D out of the bunch.   Really, you should want to play Tampa because of the idea that we can pass on then better than the other teams.  Not run.

TB has the third best Run D in the league. They gave up 1 less yard per game than NO. Well we ran over 250 yards against NO. So you don't think we can run on TB? Washington gave up 12 more yards per game on the ground and we did well enough against them.

Yes Evans and Gronk pose a problem. Lamb and Cooper don't? Plus you have much better RB's on the Dallas team. Maybe Arizona would be a decent matchup, but I am not shying away from TB. YOU disagree. Fine...

Yeah... fantasy world is perfect description.

Stine.... I would absolutely think DL is one of the picks.  I thought that's what they were going to do last year.    And that's one of the picks, not necessarily the first one.   The other 2, anyone's guess.  I would wager we don't make 3 picks in round 1 this year.

trading down and collecting another round 1 pick in 2023 is not a bad thing...

UH doesn't that take away from the 6 picks you say we need right now? I would opt for an additional pick THIS year. if we want a QB next year my money is on Young

Absolutely... I fully expect that.

I missed a guy,I need to check out David Bell-WR- Purdue as a round 2 pick

https://bleacherreport.com/articles/10021513-david-bell-nfl-draft-2022-scouting-report-for-purdue-wr   he could fit, more research needed, but I can check him out. More of the alshon possession/RZ type which isn't a bad thing

https://www.nflmockdraftdatabase.com/big-boards/2022/consensus-big-board-2022  Updated composite. I am FINE with their choices IF we took a WR like Ross in 2. I won't be happy if we go past round 2 without a WR pick

The thing is will Howie take gardner as me and everyone else has us doing????? he doesn't draft CB's and it's the same set up as missing on JJ,because he is "Smarter" than everyone else

Right... 2 picks are in the top half.  If they hold the picks....we should expect 2 decent picks and a bust.

Are you trying to say, package the picks and move up because you feel it would be a better move with our track record?

I'm looking at it.  15 and 16 are the range where we got Barnett.   The other guys we " missed" weren't they in the 20s?     So this is kinda in the range where we don't know?  We usually pick higher or lower.   It's rare to be smack in the middle... and two picks back to back.  Sure feels like one hit and one bust...lol

Anyway, best game I have ever seen last night. They both had to be gassed. They beat on each other all game long and into OT. Some pretty amazing plays made.. Pity there has to be a loser,I was hoping for a tie, both squads earned it

TB has the #1 Rushing defense in the conference. We have the #1 Rushing Offense in the league. That is with not rushing the ball the first 7-8 weeks. No I am not worried about running the ball on ANY team. We just played Dallas with 2nd and 3rd string O-Line and ran the ball on them! It is our strength. I could care less about TB's run defense. Evans is hurting and he is their only viable WR. Gronk will need to be doubled up on Fournette is hurt and may not play.

Anyway. Will we win? I doubt it. I doubt we win against any other opponent. I just think TB is our best shot....

We don't have a DE. We need 4. Graham and Sweat. That is it. Cox is old and needs to be replaced. So we have 1 DT and need at least three! LB is almost non existant! We had to play a CB at LB Saturday! If that doesn't scream need than I don't know what does.... YEs we need a WR, but we have much more pressing needs.

Graham is in that old need to be replaced. I think we keep The CB opposite Slay for another yr, and pickup a CB, I don't think we gonna use all three #1 this year maybe we package up for a DE / DT , S,/ CB hybrid ,we have 10 picks this yr.. We gonna need RB. If Howard performs well in the playoffs other teams might sign him. Also we're Gonna have lotta cap money I think we go FA WR, LB. QB.

Nope don't need a RB. Gainwell looked fine and we continue to run the ball even without Sanders, why would we need to add one? Howard will re-sign if we offer it to him.

Again... then you should like the Tampa matchup because you feel we can pass on them better than the other 2.

I mean... would you rather face your boy Bernie in net or Hextall?  You  can say you would rather face Hextall.. but saying the reason is because Bernie is too tall, when Hextall is like 4 inches taller, doesn't make sense.    For run matchup Tampa should be the most difficult without a doubt.

Evans scored 2 TDs after coming  back in.  More importantly coaching and QB, I can't see how anyone would think playing vs Brady/ Arians vs the other 2 is a better matchup?

BS.you refuse to give this team any credit. I understand Lol We didn't pick the schedule. All teams are facing the SAME advantages or disadvantages we faced like I said HahahahaBS. and ANY GIVEN SUNDAY you can have your ass handed to you Did you see what the WORST TEAM in the league did to ONCE Playoff contender Carson Wentz Colts but you continue to discredit Hurts and our teams achievement hahahaha...Hmmmmm.hahahaha.to bad bro.

Again, it matters little. We are 1 and done Joe. Do you honestly feel we match up well with anyone?

Doesn't matter who is the better matchup. We are playing TB

Once again Stine we aren't fixing every issue in this next draft, but we can get alot of what we need and "tweak" it the following draft and be good to go or as you said spend a little in FA. I'm just not convinced spending it on a WR with a running QB is the way to go

You are just adding to my reasoning why HR Will not go WR. He has no one to get them the ball! Why waste a Pick on a WR with Hurts as your QB? Better to spend your drafting capital on the other side of the ball to give our offense more chances to score.

To make the team enticing FOR a QB the following year,so nope didnt add a thing to your reasoning
