Trini... it is what it is dude.   He ain't lying.  I don't like the term " backed into playoffs"   that sounds like we lost, but other teams kept losing more.    I think the more accurate way to look at it is we won the games we were supposed to... except for that Giants game... and it was enough.   I would have liked to have seen more quality wins, but it wasn’t needed.  I don't believe you should ever lose on purpose when you are the better team.   They did what they were supposed to do. 

Fact still remains ... it's been since October 27, 2019 , that we beat at least a 9 win team that played their starting QB.   0 for 17 since.   18-6 -1 vs the other teams..  including 9-1 this year.  This game vs Tampa offers an opportunity to break the slump.  It would be a huge step.  But these facts remain.  

I don't get the anger from either side here.

Hurts can dink and dunk pretty well. he doesn't toss lasers,so a possession type WR would suit him and be a reliable target that reagor is not(in theory)

Credit for beating teams with no offenses? It happened MANY MANY times. Teams starting QB 3??? or missing 1/2 their offensive weapons? HAHAHAHA you make me laugh. I don't discredit Hurts I CRITIQUE him,as YOU should. With this schedule we should be a 12 win team. I credit the O line(and have consistently). The secondary is trash,that's just reality

I feel we could run the ball on a couple of these teams... specifically run it better than vs Tampa.   I feel it would be an easier win vs other coaches and QBs for sure.    If I had to pick... Tampa and Green Bay would be the last teams I would want to face. 

But I can see where the green Kewl Ade is definitely spiked after seeing people on here trying to logically convince themselves Tampa is the right matchup.  It's not just here, thr local media was all over this last night with enthusiasm about the matchup?  This after the Dallas game, where you can make a great case if we had that matchup.

I think we could, but it will take remarkable execution. Can we do this? I mean we have to be 100% on our game to have a shot. We saw Wentz and Indy go down,so it's always possible although I see less chance of Brady ever panicking

Yeah... we still have to acknowledge the wins.  They only screwed up once vs the Giants.  We still had to walk the path.   The other guys just need to acknowledge that the path was easy.   And the obstacles that we haven't been able to overcome in 17 attempts wasn't there, and is an absolute factor. 

We also haven't gone into a matchup vs a winning team with their starting QB... with the momentum we have had now.   So it's absolutely an unknown and could be a factor in possible success.  

To me this is the interesting aspect.   What continues... does " momentum, intangibles, identity"  overcome...  or does the quality of the opponent matter for the 18th time in a row?

  Joe, I never drink that crap. I don't see any team as a good match up for us. I just don't think their D will be any worse of a problem then the others. You do. OK I accept that.

As for the offenses, When Brady has his weapons, he is a huge problem. He is anyway at the age of? But no Godwin. No Brown. Evans is hurt, Grayson is now probably out. Fournette is out and they already lost Benard. Jones was out last week and may not be able to play Sunday, so who is their RB? Just saying that they are hurting the worse they have all year on Offense. They have Evans and Gronk. That is it. two players we have to double up on.

    Anyway, We will see.

Yes we will.   Tampa offense has sure been struggling lately.

That's what every team tries to do every game. Your success rate depends on how well you do that. That's how we got into the playoffs because other teams rarely had 2 offensive weapons 🤣

  Perriman is not a threat. You can only play either OJ or Brate and that is IF you go with a 2 TE set....  Not really any serious issue

  Well, I don't think anyone struggles against the Jets or Carolina. lol But Brady has looked upset at times. Almost frustrated, even though he had the numbers. Without Grayson and if they do not have Jones, it will make the game interesting...
