Huntley is called up. He’s our best return option. He brought some juice. He’s always shown glimpses. But it brings up the question of how many RB can we afford to be active on Gameday? Also worries me that Sanders might not be ready. In my mind we need Sanders to compete.

Agreed. I think it's important for Sanders to compete and show his worth. PO's the perfect stage! Not sure he'll be around (or maybe surpassed as starter) next season due to availability.

Those guys are crucial? They were over matched BU's not the front line. Like me vs Ali lol (I would probably get hurt in that one?) So now when a front line goes out we have no BU because we got them hurt. Pick your poison

My poison is getting these guys in for meaningless games, so that the starters don't miss.

I'm pretty surprised at the lack of offense in the bama game

Have you seen this Georgia defensive roster?

Well I find it fairly alarming regardless of the style considering the teams we faced that we couldn't get to the QB alot. It's only going to get tougher now and in the future unless we draw another cake walk schedule. Idk that we are especially impactful with hurries either. No QB's are intimidated by hurries. I want that "Sack attack" intimidation defense back

Oh we’ll draft Dline. You know that. Sweat and Milton are quality pieces going forward for awhile. Tarronlooked the part. Always knew he needed to be developed. I’m encouraged by his start.
Could easily see us getting a FA pass rusher. Or it seems trading is really where the elite guys can be had.

Definitely picking the poison of the backup third stringer going down injured than my crucial players.

And no, Tyree isn’t crucial. Goedert is. And on and on. You miss understood my post if you thought I was saying the third string guys are crucial.

I’d like to get Vic Fangio for our DC

I'd like to prioritize players first before changing any coaches at this point.   We get some horses, then we can see what's up.

And FL there is no "probably” or need for a "?” in that Ali would hurt you.

I was pulling your chain. I know all 3 were expendable

It's the old "rest vs rust"

What happened to Kerrigan?

My fault. Thought you just misunderstood my post. Humor doesn’t always come through in this format. I also could be clearer on my point at times. Feel like I have good ideas and know what I’m talking about…but I’m no Jack London. Mostly think you guys have adjusted to my ways of communicating.

Yeah….but Fangio I’d consider an elite DC. Now that he failed as a HC he could stick for awhile at that position. Gannon it feels like is on a different path. Actually a pretty good offseason to grab a DC. Wasn’t Flores a big defense guy? Zimmer wouldn’t work in my mind. Too much a hard ass and he’d try to take over on Siri. He’s just a very no nonsense seeming guy. Don’t think he’d work under Siri. We’ve had two straight HC that were really glorified OC. Having that ….we’ve had DC that ran their side of things pretty autonomously. Let’s face it….feels like Rosie and Lurie are really the HC. They just don’t call plays. But Pedey let us in on the weekly after game meetings he’d have with Rosie. You know Siri is going through that. You’d have to assume they’d do the same for the defense, right? Rosie really keeps the analytics department separate. Feels like that’s his angle to be able to question the actual football guys. That’s a ton to balance. Normal GM and coach stuff is hard enough. We’ve now learned how meddling and involved our FO is. Being a HC feels like you have to deal with the board room as much as the infield opponent. Lurie sees himself as a winner for sure. Smart guy. That’s good and bad. Think when he knows to get out the way and trust…..we can really be successful. I was harsher on these dynamics before. But it’s big time NFL football. Pressure and accountability are mostly positive. If you can’t handle the heat…..definitely not the right team to coach anyway.

Coaches do it to the players. Coaches are all ex players so….having somebody to answer to each decision can be a very good thing. Chargers coach Staley going for it on his own twenty or whatever is exactly the kind of decisions to be questioned. Analytics can be overblown. Million great ways to use them…..but they also exist in a vacuum. You can’t tell me the situations and opponents don’t matter. He can’t be just a flat percentage of situation. They bring up win percentage a bunch nowadays. Sure it’s based on a solid sample size. But it’s pretty generic. Is that your playing a top defense involved in the equation? Weather? Like I said analytics can be used for a million things. Just feel like lately they really been shoving the generic analytics down out throat. It’s a tool. It’s not wrong. But….it’s just part of the equation.

100%   I feel sometimes the analytics is looking too much at a result, without taking in the reasons why.   Intelligent people look at reasons why things happen,  anyone can just spout off the results.

We had no money. He was bargain basement. You’d at least think he could be trusted to not screw up. But he completely fell off. Crazy how it can go that quick. Feels Howard injuring his knee might be the same. He might not ever come back from that.

But yeah exactly. Might be putting a plan in motion for an elite pass rusher. I think drafting a stud is always better. But it’s a crap shoot. Thinking that might be a good use of our some draft ammo. Get the known quantity and not play around. The only sure things go right after QBs in the draft. Hutchinson, Thibedeux should go really high. Somebody will swing for a QB I’m sure. This year’s class doesn’t impress me. Been since that EJ Manuel draft it feels like that a QB didn’t go first. So I don’t think everybody can resist. Some body will fall in love with Pickett or Corral. Everybody gets desperate for a QB. The whole Sam Bradford situation comes to mind. Just not many options. So some teams just keep swinging and searching. Denver comes to mind here. Washington has spent and then refused to pay the guy that won. Not sure what was the right decision for them. Don’t believe in Cousins. He puts up big stats but seems to just fail in the clutch too much. I agreed with Washington not paying like Minnesota. But what’s happened since has been terrible.

Well we did steal Milton in the third. He can go DT or DE. Has also enabled us to use Cox at DE. I’ve always been a fan of the idea. Really makes us big and physical coming at any offense. Several thoughts going here. Depending on Gannon’s preferences. Not sure if you r considered the idea of switching yo a more 3-4 look. Go Hargave- Cox- Milton. Then you invest in LBs. It’s not just about the three guys we have. More about what guys we are looking at going forward. Thomas is a draft prospect with versatility and flexibility. That’s why I’m considering him. 3-4 …4-3 DT or DE

Love the idea, but it means drafting 2 LB's and most likely signing another. Something the Eagles never seem to do.....Not sure Sweat or Graham could play LB....

Gannon getting some interviews for HC jobs. IF so, please sign Fangio ASAP!

They said that 10 players from last night are projected as first round picks. So, chances are we get one of them. Anyone want to guess who? Did you see the LB play last night? They were flying all over the field. I can see us going Edge, then CB and LB or DT. Assuming they do not trade back. Also that safety from Alabama- Battle. That dude is special.....

I thought Fournette was supposed to return for the playoffs?   Plus didn't they sign Bell too?     From my understanding they are supposed to get some defensive players back too?

I do not think so on Fournette. Bell is not nearly what he used to be. Defensively they may be better off, but not sure. Fact is they are hurting with multiple injuries. Listening to Brian Westbrook last night on my way home. He also says TB is probably our best choice of the three, so I am not the only one who feels that way. Brady is the key to beating TB. We need to hit the WR's at the LOS to throw off their timing and force Brady to hold onto the ball longer. Only way to allow the D-Line to pressure him. He is great of getting rid of the ball quickly and knows where to go just by looking at our defense before the snap. Put Slay on Evans and double up on Gronk. probably what they will do.

Look, Tb is going to score 27 or more points most likely. We will need to match that. Not sure we can, but I like our chances against a depleted TB squad over others. Anyway, it does not matter. We have to play TB. So whether we like that or not, it does not make a difference. Maddox on Perriman and not sure who they would put on a 2nd TE if they go that way...

May have to if Gannon gets a HC job somewhere. Word is he is interviewing for a job or two.

Doesn't Gannon have only 1 year as a DC?

Do not know...

Joemas, Looks like you are correct. Fournette is probable for Sunday. That does change things....

Also, Eagles have Hurts listed as questionable?
