I've been watching football for quite a number of years. In all those years i only remember the Steelers having 3 HCs

That's called consistancy and is a big reason they're usually in the playoffs.

In fairness ,for many years(say 35 cause I was there-ugh) Cleveland was never a threat(except for the 1980 Kardiac Kids and the year they gave it all away on "the drive" by Elway 🤣). CIncy was trash for many years also. Kinda like the 6 free games the Pats used to get every year because of the ****vision

Spin it any way you want. Fact remains 0-6 is terrible. Even if we were just getting our feet wet, we still could have pulled out 1 win. But hey, if you want to use it as an excuse go for it.

Those games were a long time ago…..accept the latest game we sat our starters for. Seems like you holding the team over the barrel over that game.

That’s past when they even created the four divisions in each conference.

Hurts is the 10th highest-graded quarterback in the NFL per PFF, he’s 16th out of 35 eligible quarterbacks in passing grade

TB still beat up,depends on who comes back(or not). Maybe I am the only one that sees the irony if we beat Brady again(see 2018 SB lol). Our secondary is trash as a unit. We're going to have to match them score for score to have a shot(as we did in the SB). Brady will pick our secondary apart unless we are in his face all day. But NOT like the SB I don't see us getting that same pressure we need. I haven't seen much of it all year

TB getting MANY of their guys back. This EAGLES TEAM has absolutely no shot UNLESS they dominate time of possession RUNNING the ball, score TDs and not FGs, trade for Malcolm Jenkins for one game to cover Gronk, and convert on 3rd downs better than they have all season (see point 1). TB is stout vs the run especially when Vita Vea is on the field. When he goes out, no huddle and run it down their throat!
Defense? Need a miracle and for TB to be off. That would be Tom Brady. Just saying.

That doesn't surprise me.

I told you I saw the adjustment!!!! I'm glad to hear he can admit he was wrong and change things. Now, Howie needs to listen to his coaches and draft the players THEY want(GL with that)

We beat him in the SB,so we always have a shot. I still would love to run the Philly Special early and get in his head. He will be thinking "strip sack" the rest of the game 🤣

yeah I said earlier we need to match them score for score and have the ball last. I would actually use some BU RB's at first and pound them, maybe mid 3rd,put the starters in and by the 4th 1/4 they will be tired.. Sadly, our secondary needs your basic miracle and Gronk can run deep routes, don't let him fool you. All 3 of their TE's can play so I expect 3 TE sets from them with some WR's out or not at 100%. Slay can probably handle Evans, whomever is covering Perriman will be a key factor IMO

The 0-6 against playoff teams just doesn’t feel very fair. We played all of them first half of the season while the first time coaches were still implementing things and discovering our identity. Not saying we are better than those teams. Just feel we’d have a much better shot now.

You make a valid point Cunningham.
Now, I remember those games and just don’t see this team making up enough of a difference unless they play nearly perfectly AND have some favorable/lucky bounces/plays. Overall, the defense is SERIOUSLY lacking talent to stop a good offense. The wins this team has earned were against bad offenses or offenses without their starting QB. I don’t see this defense stopping a good offense. That means the Eagles’ offense will have to play out of their mind….SIGNIFICANTLY BETTER than they have played all season. Can they construct a running game vs the Bucs that can grind it out, tire the BUC’s defense, and most importantly, score TOUCHDOWNS drive AFTER DRIVE.

I am not confident in the Eagles. Boy I really hope the Niners can knock out the cowpies. Otherwise our Sunday could really suck.

Who opted out? Rogers, Brady or Murray?

He wasn't voted in for sure

Now, how will they be tired if their offense drives the ball and scores?

Time of possession is a team thing.   Half of controlling the ball is getting the other team's offense off the field.   If we match score for score, then it's a normal flow up until that point, why would they get tired, but our defense wouldn't?

Sen has the strategy, we gotta score TDs, and we need to at least contain their offense some.     The Philly Special ( your obsession with one trick play)  Brady wasn't on the field.   He had a pretty decent game as far as QBs in the Superbowl.   Like 500 yards passing?  Kicker for them cost them some points.     We beat New England,  99% because we beat their defense,  not Brady.

Add Dak and Stafford...  then look how the dropoff is for NFC QBs.  Wilson struggled this year, and Jimmy G was injured and nothing special.

Part of the big picture we are still playing this week... is the QB picture in the NFC.  Specifically the ones we played.

No matter Joe,you'd get in his head about the strip sack(and that beat Brady didn't it??).If both defensive lines are tired, we have the better RB's and that's how you can win with superiority in the 4th 1/4,but I can't expect you to understand how this all ties tpgether

We have been very good converting third downs …..so that bar is extremely high. We need Sanders ready.
