The other issue is our lack of pass rush best defense against Brady is putting pressure on him something we have not been good at this season. So we have to figure out a way to fluster Brady with pressure, keep the score close going into the 2nd half to let our ground game take over

exactly

Weather will be a factor Sunday vs. Eagles. Windy with rain early, remaining cloudy with showers in the afternoon. High 72F. Winds SW at 20 to 30 mph. Chance of rain 70%. Rainfall near a quarter of an inch. Higher wind gusts possible. Eagles own No. 1 rushing team in NFL.

This could be a blessing for us though if it greatly impacts the passing game.

That wind will affect the kicking game as well. Should help our secondary if Brady can't go deep(we don't go deep anyway lol)

Well, I for one, do not think we can keep up with them. I hope I am wrong, but to be honest it is a real long shot. Yes TB has some injuries, but Fournette will be back. Even at 80% he poses a real problem for our defense. Catching balls out of the backfield and running downhill. With that added option it makes for a very long day....

Is everyone on our O line back????

We are the underdogs,no doubt about it

Not really. Wind only affects the long ball. Our defense allows the short game so Brady will just pick us apart with long drives.

Maybe the wind will make Hurts long ball more accurate

We need to do the same, and we rarely throw deep anyway,so TOP with a score is what we need to do

Good point

I need to dig out my dog mask again LOL

Kickoff from Raymond James Stadium is set for 1 p.m. ET. Tampa Bay is an 8.5-point favorite in the latest Buccaneers vs. Eagles odds from Caesars Sportsbook, while the over-under for total points scored is 49.

I would probably bet on the Bay and take the over

The Pro bowl is a popularity contest lol. Not much else

PFF has Mailata rated 3rd best LT in the NFL

Is he going to the pro bowl?

Pitts on the list although he did little lol

Truly a pity we passed on pro bowl JJ for Reagor (FAIL). If Howie had gotten it right we would have JJ and Smith and not even need to look at WR next draft(but what the hell do I know?)

I mean he put up 1000 yards receiving that impressive especially for a TE. ATL needs to find better ways to get there best players in the EZ though only 1 TD

The Buccaneers have been held under 27 points only four times this season. Under 30 points only 7 times in 17 games. 30 points or lower is a good outcome for the #Eagles defense. Anything under 25 is outstanding.

Odd since this is the dry season in Florida

No matter Joe,you'd get in his head about the strip sack(and that beat Brady didn't it??).If both defensive lines are tired, we have the better RB's and that's how you can win with superiority in the 4th 1/4,but I can't expect you to understand how this all ties tpgether

How do you get in his head about a strip sack.... unless you actually sack him and strip the ball?

Because we have worn out the D lines. We have faced less than stellar ones, this will be tougher, but you still have to do this if you want a shot

Or because we haven't faced an offense  that has put up any fight in the first half of games.   Which has allowed the run game to be used in the 2nd half.

John Madden used to call Joe Montana the best bad weather QB..   I think Brady is right there as well... maybe even better.

But now a team is facing our offense to where their season ends if they allow us to run the ball.  Throw in more difficult weather to pass, now you get a team really looking to stop our run game.    So we shall see.

Let's see if Identity, intangibles,  leadership and all that takes over.   Or if playing against a talented team that is focused is more important.

And this is why it’s part of my keys to success for us… Being able to keep the game close in the first half and not starting slow, protecting the football etc.

We don’t have to be winning by the half but if it’s a 1 score game it allows us to keep running. If we are down 2-3 scores the game gets much harder for us

I think most teams don't want to fall behind big in the first half.   It's a pretty good strategy in every sport not to fall behind at half time.

Joe love your simplicity but plenty teams 2 score lead you know down 9-10 isn’t some out of reach game for us it could easily be that
