But scripted plays gives the offense a shot getting off to a quick start.

If that was the case what happened the previous weeks because we just have not been a fast starting team

I get it. But scripted plays gives the offense a shot getting off to a quick start. We already know e can make the halftime adjustments. Just my $.02

They all script the plays.

Lot of talk of Calvin Ridley being dealt would you all offer the Falcons something for him???

No they don't. Let me refrain that. Most Teams have 10-15 plays scripted that they run but not necessarily set up to run in sequence and definitely not as a no huddle. No huddle makes it much easier to get off to a quick start as it does not allow the Defense to make specific calls and they cannot substitute. Definite advantage for a run heavy team.

Did we run a no huddle?

Didn’t watch all the games live but I do think I recall us using it vs NYG early

But I mean whether we use no huddle or not we have been a slow starting team for weeks when is the last game we came out fast and strong with Hurts??? Denver New Orleans???

Wow massive blow to us Josh Sweat questionable vs the Bucs… Our pass rush was already meh and Sweat was probably the best of the meh bunch.

He is talking like the 2/4 minute no huddle where you have 16 plays precalled on the QB wristband

Yes they mostly look to run them in sequence. ..it's why they are the first 15 plays...  there is an adjustment made on situation... which I assume you would also like to be included so as they don't run handoff on play #3 if it was 3rd and 15?

No huddle is a different thing, I love the No huddle... would do it as much as possible if it were me.  Not necessarily a quick snap, but getting ready to run a play.

Yes...as opposed to the regular script without the no huddle.

Been ready up on the Bucs run D they are not as good as the 3rd ranking suggests.

Since like week 7 they have middle of the road allowing around 112 yards per game and they have actually had the 5th worst yard per attempt allowed with like 4.7 yards per carry.

The down side to this is that if the weather is bad the Bucs can then commit more to just stopping the run and worrying less about the pass

The Bucs have really just been focused on the postseason. Vea and Suh are not getting moved. Their pass rushers have been injured and in and out. Barrett and White are very athletic. They can cause problems for Hurts. Not exactly sure what Pierre Paul has left in the tank. But he always was freakishly athletic. So we need to attack the outside. Because Vea and Suh aren’t getting out to the perimeter. But gotta have Barrett and White accounted for. We saw the ultimate LB in Warner just take over for the Niners. Let’s make sure we learned that lesson. Seems fairly obvious. But big Oline actually getting a hold of off the ball LBs is a challenge. RBs need to help set up the blocks is how I was taught. Can’t just blast forward. Gotta really specifically attack them. Kelce isn’t moving either Vea or Suh. But he still looks like he can get out in space. So that’s the sneaky hidden matchup. Do we have Oline that can get to their second level defenders. White is a heck of a LB. really loved watching his tape in draft prep. We’ve really needed that. Would be game changing for us to have a stud LB. Anyway have all offseason to **** about drafting a LB. Right now we just need to focus on negating him. We get outside and getting a guy on White…..we could really gut them.

Vikings apparently want to talk with Gannon he is definitely get way more buzz then I thought he would that’s what two teams now requesting Gannon Denver and now Minnesota

Guess it opens the what if game… If Gannon gets a HC job who would we want to replace him as DC???

You concerned with the fact we would likely have to switch the D scheme from a 43 to a 34.

Guess with all the pieces this unit needs wouldn’t make a huge difference

Don't listen much anymore to local talk shows, but dude this morning is spot on.  This is a defining  game for the Eagles.    Either the team started gelling and the coaches figured everything out, or it was the opponents that were the reason for this run.   Doesn't need to be a win necessarily,  just a truly competitive game.

If they play a competitive game and lose in a close fought game that shows huge progress it really does. That can give us real hope for next year.
