They out coached us so far. They know their strength is Vea and Suh. So they figured out our obvious game plan to go out wide. They are meeting our WR screen passes with six defenders at the sideline. Not good.

Absolutely not a rainbow...the issue was that ...DUE TO HIS WEAK SUBPAR 2020 NFL ARM.... he had to gather and wind up,which enables the faster DBs to make up ground and get into position to make a play.

The problem with the interception wasn’t rainbow related. It was that Hurts was flushed from the pocket on the run. So he probably was looking hard at Smith and got it out too late being flushed. So the problem was just get it out earlier.

It wasn't "rifled in" it was pop gunned in

What arc?   Ball never had any arc, the delay was in the gather and wind up.   Had he been able to make that same throw without the windup it would have been a TD.   Bradshaw even showed it on the halftime show

Exactly why I knew it was important for our rookie coaches to get playoff experience. Bad start. Not unexpected. At least we have that behind us now. Let’s move forward and learn. Better now than later in my view.

The problem was he saw Smith open as thr defender fell..  but doesn't have the arm talent to make the throw without getting set.

He was on the run being flushed from the pocket. You don’t off balance just wrist flip a long laser on the run towards your off hand.
